this is in my neck of the woods &, the city of scranton has a lot of financial problems &, a greedy union. while i know nobody wants their pay cut, they are going to like the other alternative even less.

NOTE TO OBAMA: they do not need a bailout...if the union boss's wouldn't spend the union dues as they see fit, they'd have the money to help their workers out until better days---as it stands now, jobs are going to be lost. common sense says a job paying less is a lot better then no job at all...
this has been happening all across america & it has reached the point where drastic steps are required in order for the city's & states to 'right' their books...for years, the money & benefits being paid out has, by far, exceeded the money taken in &, as union workers are slowly finding out, their union dues are not there when they need them. their money is being mis-spent & they should be taking their union boss's to court to account for it.
