hopefully, the young voters won't get caught up in the hype---actually, all they have to do is ask themselves this:::exactly what has obama done for us since taking office??? we all know he made a bunch of promises that have not been kept &, he can't put all the blame on the repubs for his failure to keep his promises...
college costs have continued to go up for our young people; banks aren't so quick to make loans to our young people; jobs of quality are scarce to be found for our young people; housing ownership is almost impossible for our young people; unaffordable obamacare has been forced upon our young people regardless of whether they had it or wanted it; however, i'm sure you could add to this list...
if obama did raise the minimum wage to $10.10, we all know it would have unintended consequences such as:::less hiring; more layoffs; less hours; costlier goods, etc, etc, etc...plus there's this:::if you've been on your job for 2/3 years & make $11/$12 an hour, how would you feel if a newcomer comes in at $10.10 per hour & you don't don't get a comparable raise???
where was obamas push for a $10.10 minimum raise when he was first elected??? he must really be counting on the young people to foolishly accept his words & support the dems during the midterm elections.......
