hello america! it saddens me that senator arlen specter is a republican sellout. it seems he is going to side with the democrats to push this crappy stimulus bill through. it all has to do with obama inviting him to the whitehouse for obamas superbowl party, because, he cannot convince me that this bill is for the good of this nation at this particular time. &, judging from the various polls out there, america is thinking like i do---scrap the bill as it is & redo it right. washington has the time to do so---obama is the one with the time-table///what? if he doesn't get it by mid-february, the country will fall apart completely? as the bill is, it won't put people to work immediately & the little bit of tax garbage in it won't be reflected in economic growth. more importantly, it does nothing to stop the present bleeding---it's not even a bandaid.
i sent specter an email (2/6/09) telling him that if he voted for this bill, i would not vote for him in 2010. i not only won't vote for him, i will be spreading the word about him everywhere i go & to whoever will listen. he is a sellout to the republicans, the state of pennsylvania &, the american people & i have no problem in telling you so. his family may be proud of what he's become in life but, there's no way they can be proud of him now. i'm not & you shouldn't be either. the facts are the facts---i don't make them up.
at all costs...STOP SPECTER IN 2010 AT THE POLLS. thank you!
