"Stimulus" Fails to Deliver the Relief the President Promised

THAT WAS THEN: On February 12, President Obama visited employees at an Illinois Caterpillar plant and said, "when they [Congress] finally pass our plan, I believe it will be a major step forward on our path to economic recovery... the head of Caterpillar, said that if Congress passes our plan, this company will be able to rehire some of the folks who were just laid off. And that's a story I'm confident will be repeated at companies across the country...
" THIS IS NOW: Unfortunately, the Washington Times now reports that Caterpillar has had to cut another 2,400 jobs - with 1,700 of the jobs cut at the plant President Obama recently visited - despite the stimulus.
As the President noted last February, "you can measure America's bottom line by looking at Caterpillar's bottom line:"
america, where is obamas voice on this matter? he made such a big thing about his bill saving jobs for this company & others like it. why hasn't he said anything to the 2,400 people he gave all that hope to? is obama above apoligizing for his failing bill?
well, let's look at it this way...obama wasted no time going to ohio to take credit for the 25 cadets that were hired there (click on this site to view the full story) http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123634274699352379.html he even posed with them & said it was his bill that allowed them to be hired. america, this should show you just what type of character obama lacks::::it's called 'good' character. the proof is in the pudding. take credit for the 'good' things & just 'ignore' the bad ones.
