hello america! let's get right to it & skip all this debating & bullying. i am going to ask the questions that no one else seems to capable of asking obama. but first i am more then compelled to say the following...
...obama, this is america & regardless of what you may think, we are a proud & extremely resilient people. don't you dare insult us by saying we may not to be able to recover from this crisis unless your bill is passed. we, as a nation, will persevere with or without you.
1....does your bill create a job for me immediately?
2....does your bill put money in my pocket immediately?
3....does your bill enable banks to make loans to me immediately?
4....does your bill allow me to refinance my mortgage cheaper immediately?
5....does your bill allow me to lower my health costs immediately?
6....does your bill protect me from losing my present job immediately?
7....does your bill freeze my utilitity bills at their present rate immediately?
8....does your bill protect my financial investments whether in savings or stocks immediately?
9....does your bill provide funding for my family to eat immediately?
obama, these are but 9 questions you can't answer yes to &, we all know there are many more just like them. SO I HAVE TO ASK YOU, JUST WHAT THE HELL DOES YOUR BILL DO FOR ME IMMEDIATELY?
you are the one all over tv telling america that this bill of yours needs passage now & i need to know why. i am america & this bill of your does not address my concerns or needs in any way that will allow me to be a part of the 'recovery' of our economy.
i know you're happy that the house passed your bill (without any repubs & 11 dems not voting for it) but, if i just lost my job, how would a $200,000,000 whitehouse mall beautification project have helped me?
obama, your words don't inspire me to support you-they do just the opposite. for you to be saying on tv that if the bill isn't passed we may not recover from this recession & to say its failure of passage could lead to a catastrophy sound more like a man that is desperate then a leader.
you yourself said on tv that this bill would have no 'earmarks'-what's the difference between that & excessive pork? if only 1/3 of the bill goes to stimulating the economy, something is very wrong. maybe next time you'll present your own bill instead of allowing pelosi & franks to do your dirty work. the bill they presented may cost them their jobs.
