EAGLE FANS, SUCK IT UP

hello america! if you're really into football, you had to enjoy the the nfl & afl championship games regardless of who's your team. the two games lived up to all the hype---there was defense, there was offense &, the special teams held their own. coaches were trying to out-coach their counterparts &, the replay camera shots were great. it seemed like the games were packed with excitement & suspense.

well, can't please everybody. so, today, we have to deal with those that say the eagles got robbed. the refs didn't call pass interference on a play where the defender slipped & perhaps caused the receiver to fall. there was contact but, replay didn't show a picture of the defender actually tripping the receiver. it did show that the receiver didn't make the catch & should have. so, eagle fans, suck it up...you complain about the no-call & yet, you have nothing to say about the muffed call on one of the kickoffs when the ref called the ball out of bounds---&, it wasn't. should have been cardinals ball arond the eagles 30 yard line &, with the way the cards were playing the 1st half, it would have been lights out for the eagles right then. instead, no call & it gave the eagles life & hope, which, they almost made the most of.

mcchoke, excuse me, mcnabb, still cannot perform at his best when under game pressure. even though he threw the eagles back in it---to the point that just about everybody was thinking they were going to win it, he failed to show up when they needed him most. he overthrew one receiver &, threw behind another who'd still be running if the pass were accurate. they had their chances.

however, it would not be fair to give all the blame to mcchoke---he doesn't play on the defensive side of the ball. the eagle defense in the 1st half just was not there. &, they showed up in the 2nd half only part of the time. this was a day in which the eagle defense & offense didn't play the 1st half.

so, eagle fans, if you need a refs call to advance to the next round, you have no business being there.

congrats to the cardinals & steelers...also, hopes & prayers that willis mcgahee will be okay. i've heard some already say that it was an illegal hit but, when you really watch the replay, mcgahee lowered his head first.

wish we had more match-ups like these two games all season long.

arizona cardinals & superbowl do belong in the same sentence---just ask the eagles.
