THANK YOU AMERICA

hello america! I find it very pathetic that obama is still trying to pressure the senate into passing his extremely flawed bill. that being said, i am extremely happy to see that it's just not the republicans that have problems with the bill but, also some of the democrats &, apparently, enough of them to hold up its passage.

in addition to the senate, there's you. all of the polls taken concerning this bill demonstrate that this bill is not for the good of this nation &, apparently your voice is being heard. obama must have his walkman on & can't find his glasses because he's not getting the message. isn't it wonderful to be told what's good for you even when everyone else knows it's not?

what's interesting about this situation is: when the bill first cleared the house, most americans were for it but, as the facts of the spending became known, the numbers for it have reversed. thank you america-thank you. you do have a say in what goes on in washington &, i encourage you to continue calling, writing or emailing your elected officials & when possible, visit them in person & tell how you feel about this bill & any other concerns you have about the way this country is run. you, not obama, has the power to change how business is done in washington. make your voice be heard. you spoke loud & clear electing obama & now you can speak loud & clear to your elected officials. with local & state elections looming on the horizon, they will take the time to listen &, if they don't, elect someone else. obama has 4 years to get it right-some of congress have 2 years left before re-election. they need your vote & you need them to do their job correctly---& that is---putting your best interests forward.

hold them all accountable &, again, i thank you.

YOU WANTED CHANGE---

hello america! remember "change"-well, you're getting it & if you've been following my posts, you'll remember that i told you it was a "change" you wouldn't want. you didn't believe me then &, you probably won't believe me now. what else is new?

the "change"------the whitehouse is not doing business as usual:::it's much more worse then usual. &, the pace of this "change" is blinding you as to what is really happening within the obama administration.

obama has stacked the whitehouse with some undesirable individuals---below is just one more link in why america is in trouble &, this come from newsmax-not me...read it & you be the judge...&, yes, there will be a future post about charles rangel...

1. Obama’s Transportation Secretary Is Earmarks King
Barack Obama said during his campaign that congressional earmarks should be reined in, but his choice for Transportation secretary, retiring Rep. Ray LaHood, is one of the leading purveyors of pork in the House.
In fiscal 2008, the Illinois Republican secured $62.7 million in earmarks for his district, either alone or working with other House members, according to Taxpayers for Common Sense.
That put him in the top 10 percent of House members when it came to pork barrel outlays, the Wall Street Journal reported in an opinion piece headlined “Obama’s Secretary of Earmarks.”
LaHood, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, makes no bones about his efforts to bring home the bacon to his district, which includes Peoria.
He told the Peoria Journal Star: “The reason I went on the Appropriations Committee, the reason other people go on the Appropriations Committee, is they know that it puts them in a position to know where the money is at, to know the people who are doling the money out and to be in the room when the money is being doled out.”
The Journal observed: “Mr. Obama repeatedly said during the presidential campaign that the earmarking system should be overhauled, yet he’s elevated to his cabinet a Machiavelli of this system.”
LaHood, first elected in 1994, is not on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee now, although he has been in the past. As a member of the Appropriations Committee he did not work on transportation funding.
But with Obama “planning what looks to be one of the largest single increases in federal spending in history,” the Journal reports, “Mr. LaHood may be exactly the man for the moment.”
