hello america!!! obama is now going after the female vote by saying they should be allowed to join the augusta national golf club...beautiful concept. i have to give it to obama for coming up with this one...&, i'm sure he gave this a lot of thought before opening his mouth (yeah, right).
you all just don't see what's coming & i strongly suggest you take off the blinders because coming very soon to a city like yours is the uni sexing of america.
i am not one of those that believe women belong in the kitchen & cleaning the home...however, i do believe there are certain fields that women cannot compete with men &, there are certain 'clubs' that should remain 'closed' to the opposite sex. &, I AM NOT BEING SEXIST.
so let's get right to it...professional sports is a big money making business & that's the bottom line &, in case you want to argue that point, just look at the television schedules during prime time on the weekend. it's all about that dollar bill....it's called "RATINGS".
based on what obama said, he was referring to individual women joining the club because unless i missed it, he never said the lpga should be allowed to join. (here's where it gets 'dicey'). so, let's let the females in & see how they fare competing with the men at augusta...& hey, no handicapping here...
as i write this, i cannot name any of the female golf leaders at this time (i'd have to google them). on the other hand, i can give you a long list of men golfers &, i've never played the game. for that matter, the same is true with basketball.
i am sure that there are some females out there somewhere that can compete on a golf course with some of the men but, can they do it for 18 holes a day over a 4 day period (& no, charity events don't count)?
ladies, before you blindly throw your support to obama, ask yourselves this...does obama or will obama allow his daughters to put on equipment & compete with the guys on the football field? & then ask his wife....
let's put it all in perspective...obama thinks augusta should allow women...however, i'll bet you the farm that you won't hear him say that boys should be allowed to join the girl scouts.......
obama golfs & i'll bet my other farm that if the top 10 men golfers were playing on sunday &, there was an lpga event at the same time, he'd be watching the men...you've seen him playing basketball & golfing, where were the females??? just name me one female that was there participating in either sport.........
&, for the record, i like to do my own cooking & cleaning...........................................
guess i can ask obama to support me getting into the lpga....
