DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS BILL

hello america! it does not give me any satisfaction in saying i told you that obama was wrong for this country & these times. & pretty soon you will reap all the rewards that will come from your not heeding my warning. my problem with that is, i have to reap them also.



by now you've either heard or seen obamas trillion dollar bill that congress is ready to start working on. it's supposed to 'help' the economy &, will come without any guarantees it will work. it is also supposed to come without any 'earmarks' attached---those will definitely be coming very soon after. you can bet the house on that.



so, let's talk about that bill for a minute. first of all, it's a waste of money & effort. america, it's a smoke-screen & i'll tell you why. this bill is supposed to create "infrastructure" jobs & the "greening" of public buildings. well, regardless of how much money is spent on those projects, it's going to take years before it's fully implemented & proves to be worthwhile. what obama is not telling you is, at best, this would be a very short-lived project. so ask me, why do you say this knowitall? well, how many people could be hired & for how long? once the repairs & greenings are accomplished, what happens to all those workers that will no longer be needed? when you hear talk about this bill creating millions of jobs stop...ask yourself this: how many people does it take to accomplish the mission? surely not millions. & when they finish the work they're hired for, they'll be released. just like macy's will hire extra people for certain holidays (AS DOES OUR POSTAL SYSTEM) & then lets them go after the holidays. a lot of businesses do this. not 1 of them will keep the workers on if there's no work there for them. would you?



i am opposed to this bill because it comes without any guarantees it will even come close to doing what it's supposed to do.

to implement this plan, one has to look at what all is involved---that's the part they don't want you to know...
1. you'd have to have people in charge that know the job-you & i don't qualify to run this
2. you'd have to set up a pretty tight background check system-you & i don't qualify to run this
3. you'd have to advertize the jobs-you & i don't qualify to run this
4. you'd have to set up a place for the staff-you & i don't qualify to run this
5. you'd have to 'hire' the staff-we may get lucky here
6. you'd have to set up a place for the applicants to be interviewed-???
7. you'd have to buy or rent computers, tables, chairs, etc-you & i don't qualify to run this
8. you'd have to provide utilities-you & i don't qualify to run this
9. you'd have to provide training for the accepted applicants-you & i don't qualify to run this
10. you'd have to provide insurance-you & i don't qualify to run this

the above is just the beginning before any real work is even started. chances are, the feds will give the money to the states who will distribute it as they see fit &, award contracts as they see fit. here in allentown, pa, you see the same companies doing the same work year after year & these companies have their own workers &, very few of us will get in.

"CHANGE"---i don't think so. this will be business as usual with the fat getting fatter & favors being doled out.

let america take care of america & tell your government officials that they need to clean up their own acts before tackling yours.

IDF'S RIGHT TO SELF-DEFENSE

hello america! this is going to seem like a contradiction to an earlier writing but, it's not. as much as i wish & pray for world peace, i have no problem with self-defense. so, for all those that would say that israel is wrong, please think of the following before you put your foot in your mouth.

assume you had a neighbor that was always throwing rocks at you, your family &, your house with no regard to injuries or damages to the passer-bys. let's also assume that you had reported this to the police & they did nothing; you reported it to the courts & asked for protection which was not provided; you asked the surrounding community for their help & they did nothing. well, if you did all that & nothing helped you, you would be left with just 3 choices>>>move, which is very unlikely, ignore the rock throwing, which is very unlikely or, defend yourself, family & property.

well, this is a problem that's been bothering israel since the beginning of time &, there is no end in sight. the cease-fires only last for so long. can you imagine sitting in your living room with your family under a cease fire &, out of no where comes the rocks through your window? when is enough enough? most of us would have been up the neighbors butt right after the first rock.

so, the next time you want to bash israel for what they are doing, put yourself & your family in their position & then tell me they're wrong.

man is lost

hello america! why is it that man is so intent on destroying his fellow man? one would think that after all this time that we could co-exist on this planet---it's certainly big enough. we should all be pooling our resources for the betterment of life & the betterment of our planet.

instead, we have been so hell-bent on killing one another, for so long, that we have reached the point where we can no longer control our urges for destruction. &, regardless on how you may think of this, man has never had the ability to control his own destiny or fate &, never will. the bottom line is: man can't control yesterday, today, or tomorrow---&, he is having an extremely tough time controling himself.

throughout the history of man, man's propensity for killing has always existed &, unfortunately, in his quest for supremacy, it always will. man is unable to change himself without external help, &, when he realizes this, he will be in a better position to allow that change to occur.

modern man has let science confuse & blind him as to not only who he is but also, where he came from & where he is going. &, we, as a people, have forgotten to "love thy neighbor". we have also lost our way. our days are filled with working to exist & paying bills to live. man is killing man in the name of his GOD---you know this is wrong. man is killing man for profit through drugs---you know this is wrong. man never needed a valid reason to kill another man::just give him a weapon & he kills.

we need to get back to our roots. we need to get back to our CREATOR regardless of what name you call him or her. "THOU SHALT NOT KILL" & "LOVE THY NEIGHBOR".

Today, the Washington Times incorrectly accused the White House of ignoring warnings of trouble ahead for government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) and neglecting to "adopt any reform until this summer," when it was too late. "Neither the White House nor Congress heeded the warnings, Fannie and Freddie retained strong bipartisan support during the 1990s and early part of this decade." Over the past six years, the President and his Administration have not only warned of the systemic consequences of failure to reform GSEs but also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties. In fact, it was Congress that flatly rejected President Bush's call more than five years ago to reform the GSEs. Over the years, the President's repeated attempts to reform the supervision of these entities were thwarted by the legislative maneuvering of those who emphatically denied there were problems with the GSEs.

April: The Administration's FY02 budget declares that the size of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is "a potential problem," because "financial trouble of a large GSE could cause strong repercussions in financial markets, affecting Federally insured entities and economic activity." February: The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO) releases a report explaining that unexpected problems at a GSE could immediately spread into financial sectors beyond the housing market.
September: Then-Treasury Secretary John Snow testifies before the House Financial Services Committee to recommend that Congress enact "legislation to create a new Federal agency to regulate and supervise the financial activities of our housing-related government sponsored enterprises" and set prudent and appropriate minimum capital adequacy requirements.
September: Then-House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Barney Frank (D-MA) strongly disagrees with the Administration's assessment, saying "these two entities – Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac – are not facing any kind of financial crisis … The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." February: The President's FY05 Budget again highlights the risk posed by the explosive growth of the GSEs and their low levels of required capital and calls for creation of a new, world-class regulator: "The Administration has determined that the safety and soundness regulators of the housing GSEs lack sufficient power and stature to meet their responsibilities, and therefore … should be replaced with a new strengthened regulator." February: Then-CEA Chairman Mankiw cautions Congress to "not take [the financial market's] strength for granted." June: Then-Treasury Deputy Secretary Samuel Bodman spotlights the risk posed by the GSEs and calls for reform, saying "We do not have a world-class system of supervision of the housing government sponsored enterprises (GSEs), even though the importance of the housing financial system that the GSEs serve demands the best in supervision to ensure the long-term vitality of that system. Therefore, the Administration has called for a new, first class, regulatory supervisor for the three housing GSEs: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banking System." April: Then-Secretary Snow repeats his call for GSE reform, saying "Events that have transpired since I testified before this Committee in 2003 reinforce concerns over the systemic risks posed by the GSEs and further highlight the need for real GSE reform to ensure that our housing finance system remains a strong and vibrant source of funding for expanding homeownership opportunities in America … Half-measures will only exacerbate the risks to our financial system." August: President Bush emphatically calls on Congress to pass a reform package for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, saying "first things first when it comes to those two institutions. March: President Bush calls on Congress to take action and "move forward with reforms on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. America, now that you’ve gotten this far, you should already be deciding on how to vote the individuals out of office (BARNEY FRANKS, CHRIS DODD, HARRY REID &, NANCY PELOSI) that are responsible for our present economic problems. As you will see, this goes on for quite a bit.

Barney Frank Cried Racism And Look What Happened

The Boston Globe reported today...
The roots of this crisis go back to the Carter administration. That was when government officials, egged on by left-wing activists, began accusing mortgage lenders of racism and "redlining" because urban blacks were being denied mortgages at a higher rate than suburban whites.
The pressure to make more loans to minorities (read: to borrowers with weak credit histories) became relentless. Congress passed the Community Reinvestment Act, empowering regulators to punish banks that failed to "meet the credit needs" of "low-income, minority, and distressed neighborhoods." Lenders responded by loosening their underwriting standards and making increasingly shoddy loans. The two government-chartered mortgage finance firms, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, encouraged this "subprime" lending by authorizing ever more "flexible" criteria by which high-risk borrowers could be qualified for home loans, and then buying up the questionable mortgages that ensued.
All this was justified as a means of increasing homeownership among minorities and the poor. Affirmative-action policies trumped sound business practices.
"Lack of credit history should not be seen as a negative factor," the Fed's guidelines instructed. Lenders were directed to accept welfare payments and unemployment benefits as "valid income sources" to qualify for a mortgage. Failure to comply could mean a lawsuit.

But his fingerprints are all over this fiasco. Time and time again, Frank insisted that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were in good shape. Five years ago, for example, when the Bush administration proposed much tighter regulation of the two companies, Frank was adamant that "these two entities, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not facing any kind of financial crisis." When the White House warned of "systemic risk for our financial system" unless the mortgage giants were curbed, Frank complained that the administration was more concerned about financial safety than about housing.
Now that the bubble has burst and the "systemic risk" is apparent to all, Frank blithely declares: "The private sector got us into this mess." Well, give the congressman points for gall. Wall Street and private lenders have plenty to answer for, but it was Washington and the political class that derailed this train. If Frank is looking for a culprit to blame, he can find one suspect in the nearest mirror.
Granting loans to minorities. Pressuring banks to give loans to people without credit worthiness threatening lawsuits from Barak Obama's group called ACORN.
See the plot thickens now when you see the full picture, and the liberal media actually doing what it is paid to do. Investigate the truth without taking sides.
For too long the liberal media has blamed the Bush administration, meanwhile through the back door, Democratic leaders like Christopher Dood, and Barney Frank were sabotaging our financial stability and single handily crashed the housing market in the United States for years to come.
Democrats can blame the eight years of Bush's failed economic policies all they want.
Now, behold, the truth and the whole truth is coming out and it is the governments interfering with the banking system, and forcing banks to loan money to minority borrowers who did not qualify, threatening racial lawsuits and monetary judgments.
All in the name of the glorious Marxist, socialism plan of Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd and yes, Barak Obama and his ties to ACORN who were the very firm that threatened lawsuits and received monetary paypacks for putting pressure on the FED'S to loan the money to minorities.
Change...this is the change Barak Obama is calling for?

Now this will make some of you Obama supporters angry that this information was not made available to you prior to the elections---it was; you just chose to ignore it. jcr

Do you remember how we told you that the Democrats and groups associated with them leaned on banks and even sued to get them to make bad loans under the Community Reinvestment Act which was a factor in causing the economic crisis (see HERE ) well look at what some fellow bloggers have dug up while researching Obamas legal career. Looks like a typical ACORN lawsuit to get banks to hand out bad loans.
In these lawsuits, ACORN makes a bogus claim of Redlining (denying poor people loans because of their ethnic heritage). They protest and get the local media to raise a big stink. This stinkmeans that the bank faces thousands of people closing their accounts and get local politicians to lobby to stop the bank from doing some future business, expansions and mergers. If the bank goes to court, they will win, but the damage is already done because who is going to launch a big campaign to get the banks reputation back?
It is important to understand the nature of these lawsuits and what their purpose is.ACORN filed tons of these lawsuits and ALL of them allege racism.

THE seeds of todays financial meltdown lie in the Community Reinvestment Act - a law passed in 1977 and made riskier by unwise amendments and regulatory rulings in later decades.
CRA was meant to encourage banks to make loans to high-risk borrowers, often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an opening to radical groups like ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) to abuse the law by forcing banks to make hundreds of millions of dollars in subprime loans to often uncreditworthy poor and minority customers.
Any bank that wants to expand or merge with another has to show it has complied with CRA - and approval can be held up by complaints filed by groups like ACORN.
In fact, intimidation tactics, public charges of racism and threats to use CRA to block business expansion have enabled ACORN to extract hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and contributions from Americas financial institutions .
The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the intimidation tactics used by ACORNs Madeline Talbott in her pioneering efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts.
And, as the leader of another charity, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Obama channeled more funding Talbotts way - ostensibly for education projects but surely supportive of ACORNs overall efforts.

The Clinton-Reno threat of vigorous enforcement pushed banks to make the now infamous loans that many blame for the current meltdown, Richman said. Banks, in order to not get in trouble with the regulators, had to make loans to people who shouldnt have been getting mortgage loans.
This threat combined with the government backing of Fannie and Freddie set the stage for the current uncertainty, because the banks could just sell the loans off to Fannie or Freddie, who could buy them with little regard for negative financial outcomes, Richman said.

Now that I’ve decided it’s easier to include these transcripts then write down the websites, I’ll continue in this manner-at least for a while. I have tried to do my own research as diligently as I could, &, I researched the research I uncovered & I am convinced the data is very accurate. So, let’s get to it.

Obama duped you. He was a part of the problem that caused the housing markets to collaspe & yet, he blamed Pres Bush & pretended to not know of the reasons for the collaspe. The pro-biased Obama news media had this information & kept it from you because of their own agendas. Senator McCain chose not to exploit this (good man that he is) &, this, along with other unexploitedness cost him the election.

If you didn’t know it before, I am not an Obama supporter & I voted for McCain. That being said, the information you are now reading is basically the same information I tried to get others to read long before the elections.

Obama is a liar & will deceive you every chance he gets. It’s the way he is built. He will tell you what you “need to hear as opposed to what you want to hear”---a direct Obama quote. He knew he sued Citibank (as an lawyer for Acorn) back on July 6, 1994 under CRA which would have forced lending institutions to grant loans to those that were less then credit worthy.

When President Bill Clinton pressured a Republican controled Washington to repeal the Glass-Steagal Act in 1993, the collaspe of the housing market was sealed. Obama knew this because he took advantage of the repeal to sue the lending institutions. & here it is, 15 years later & Obama is still lying about who’s at fault for the collaspe.

That being said, Obama lied to get into office & now that he’s still lying, can you honestly expect him to tell you the truth? He’s already back-tracked from several of the issues that he promised to attend to when he first assumes office.

&, for you Obama supporters that think his moving so quickly to get positions filled is a good sign, do your own homework & quit relying on the pro-Obama biased media. He’s filling these positions with people that will fight his battles for him. This way, he will accept the battles won &, accredit the one’s he loses to others. His history as a stand-up, take-charge person shows this---he doesn’t have one.

Obama is very shrewed. He promised you “change” & yet how much “change” can you really expect with his naming Clinton & Richardson to his team? He’s already chosen many people out of former Pres Bill Clintons administration.

America, hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

JUST ABOUT SPORTS

hello america! happy new year to you & all that good stuff. i have so much to say that i really don't know where to start at. but, trust me, we'll get there eventually.

this has been a rough week for me because my DENVER BRONCOS lost a game they not only should have won but, they should have wrapped up the division weeks ago. true, we've had a lot of key injuries, especially at the running backs & corner backs positions but, that's no excuse---the offense just fell apart. regardless of the fact that we have no defense, we have the type of offense that can score 40 points every game on any team. turnovers hurt us more then anything else this season. then there's the coach---or, i should say the former coach. i love mike shanahan but, he became to stagnant for the talent & speed on the team. I am not going to bash him but, i never did like his 15 scripted play system. anyhow, i wish him the very best & i hope we never have to go up against him. PAT BOLEN, YOU DID GOOD. in this day & age of football, a coach needs to coach & leave everything else to others---it's just too much pressure to coach & be a gm to. hey mike, in truth, the defense coach should have been fired the 3rd game of the season---you know it &, i know it.

all that being said, mike has been, is, &, will be a great coach. our next coach has a great pool of talent to work with & if he/she is has any sense, they will focus on the defense & let cutler run the offense---it's just that simple. i expect great things from them next season no matter who the coach may be.

the dallas cowgurls really showed what they are not made of---HEART---someone needs to take tony romo to the side & teach him what pressure is. the philly beagles started the game with intensity & ended it with intensity:::they didn't outplay the cowgurls, the cowgurls just didn't show up. that being said, the beagles may not go any further then saturday---they too need to teach mcnabb pressure-he does not handle it well.

the jets & brett-what can i say? now brett wants to take a couple of weeks to decide if he's going to return---fire him now & let's end the drama. he is not what he used to be.

the gee eye ants---they better learn how to score more because their defense will not carry them through the playoffs.

my ny knicks suck & they still have all that talent. now, if they just had a coach that could meld all that talent together, they would be a force.

hello america! just recently i was asked a question by my friend (c p-we usually bump into each other on wednesdays & fridays & discuss politics & sports/he likes liberty & the gee eye ants) &, although i gave him an honest answer, the question keeps floating around in my head... he asked me why i'm so hard on obama. well, it seems like an honest question &, it came from an honest person &, it deserves an honest answer. so, i launched my own internal investigation within my mind &, have this retort:::because he lies & i can feel it with every fiber of my intelligence.

my original answer was "we don't know anything about him" (obama). i mean, we know what we saw & heard during the debates; we see & hear his press releases; we can go to wikipedia.com & research what little they have on file about his life, but, that's it. what do we really & honestly know about obama?

what started all this 'research' is obama stated he got his roots as a community organizer & i researched it. well, i should have not have done that. when i researched what "LITTLE" obama did as a community organizer (just google altgeld gardens), i then consulted his book:::in which he makes himself look like nothing could have been done without him. in his book, he exagerated his role & accomplishments---(if i wrote a book, i'm sure that there would be pages filled with my greatness & acheivements in direct conflict with those that were there). well, that's what set me off along with his having no military experience. so, i started my own research project & the more i looked, the more i found.

so, my friend c p, this is for you. all you have to do is google the names i am inserting & find out for yourself. i can't make this stuff up. there are too many denials from obama & when you really take a good look at them, his answers don't match the records thus, making him a liar. it's just that simple but, see for yourself.

yeah, i'm at it again. my problem is i never learned that thing about "if you have nothing good to say about somebody, don't say anything" &, i'm much too old to try & change my ways now. so, in essence, we both have to suffer through this. that being said, i am a firm beleiver in that age old saying "you reap that which you sow". another adage that comes to mind is "what goes around, comes around". &, one more that's really true is "be careful of what you wish for, you just might get it". somebody out there (judging from the election night results i'd even venture a guess as to say a lot of somebodys) wished for obama to become our next president. they got their wish.
i have a lot of problems with obamas past relationships & the more questions he's asked, the more he eludes them. which, in turn, leads me to more skepticism. as time goes by, i am of the firm beleif that more of obamas relationships with people of 'shady' character will come out.
to listen to obama justify his past relationships as slips of "bad judgement" &, for you, the american public, to have accepted this bs please, be prepared to reap that which you sowed. the only problem with this is, a lot more of us will have to suffer through it as well.
since i've been using old sayings, here is another one: "if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck-it's a duck". now you may have accepted all obama has said of his past relationships but i have not. none of the questions have been answered. the questions would be put to bed if he ever took the time to sincerely answer them.
because some of you without medical problems can't remember yesterday, allow me to refresh your memory...
the church---obama spent 20 years in a church with a paster that spewed hatred during the sermon & obama never understood it. his wife was there also. so. i guess she didn't understand it either. if it were as harmless as obama would have you beleive, why did he distance himself from the pastor? america, you should have looked into this a lot more...if obama & his wife were too dumb to understand the sermons of hate, what makes you think they are going to truely understand the problems of this country? if the media had not of publicised obamas affiliation with the church &, had not broadcast parts of the sermon, obama would still be attending that church with the famed rev wright. in truth, the press would have turned negative towards him & he couldn't afford that---better he sell out the pastor. 20 years, now look at the distance between obama & wright.
harvard & . the letter---a certain letter was written to harvard for them to accept obama. this letter was supposedly written by percy sutton at the request of khalid al-mansour. obama won't comment on it & his camp says he had a college loan (no one can find a record of it) & obama won't allow the college to release any information about the letter, his grades or anything else related to his attending there.i need to know why. what is so secretive about someone writing a letter in your behalf? what's so mysterious about your attendance at a college? how come obama can't name any of the people he would have been in class with? what's even more important, don't you'd think these people would come forward? (wow! i went to the same class in college as our future president---where are these people?) i can (& i'm sure you can to) tell you about the sports teams in my schools, the teachers i liked & disliked, which girls i had crushes on---obamas silence says more then the crappy answers he's been force-feeding us. so, common sense tells me that if you close your past off to prying eyes, you must have something to hide...can you really blame me for feeling this way?
