OBAMACARE & THE FACTS!!!

hello america!!! have you ever known the facts about an issue & end up in a debate with someone that doesn't? while you're able to quote figures, dates, & logic, their defense is to become more emotional & louder & they resort to name calling. it truly does amaze me at how people can argue about something they know very little about. case-in-point; obamacare....


it all started about 4:30 yesterday. i'm sitting on my porch drinking my MOLSEN ICE with about 4 neighbors &, we were talking about the olympics when this young couple came by asking if we were registered to vote. the neighbor to my left wanted to know why & the young lady said ,"so you can vote for pres obama". those were her actual words & that started the debate. he said he wouldn't vote for obama because his job was going to stop offering the workers healthcare coverage because of obamacare. well, the debate was on----5 for obamacare & 2 against it.


in short, the only fact the 5 knew about obamacare is, you couldn't be denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions (which is the best thing about the law)...they argued against taxes being raised on anybody because of it & that it would give everybody coverage...good people, they were the prime example of 'stuck on stupid'. the more facts the 2 of us brought out, the madder they got..........we must have argued for 20 minutes & they didn't get to sign anybody up..............


america, i'm not here to argue with you.......i'm going to tell you the truth as i find it & present it the best way i can.......that said, there are some very good things in obamacare however, there is more harm then good &, when you don't even read the law for yourselves, you're doomed to following in the footsteps of many that just read the headlines.


the law, as presently written, is going to effect each & every one of you. you may deny that but facts are facts. 


1.....the fed gov't is about to hire 4,500 workers to the irs to comb through all your records to make sure that you are complying with the law & before they're done, they even know how many sheets of toilet paper you use
2.....the fed gov't will be the ones to decide if your healthcare coverage meets their standards which have not yet been publicised
3.....the fed gov't will be the ones to decide what services you can & can't get &, that list has not been published yet either

our national debt stands at 15.8 trillion dollars & is going to surpass 16 trillion dollars before years end. as much as i hate to put a safety pin in the obama bubble, it's going to take somebody with fortitude & know-how just to put a dent in our debt & obama seriously lacks both.

obama has said his plans for the next 4 years are more teachers, firemen, policemen & those 'others' essential to the public sector plus, he wants to invest more in 'green' projects, re-train people for jobs that are not there, open up more gov't free healthcare centers to receive 1.3 million new people for 2013 & this has nothing to do with obamacare, expand the irs by 4,500 more workers, encourage more people to accept food stamps, bail out the states for those infrastructure jobs, rigidly enforce his regulations on business's &, raise the taxes of the 'fatcats'................yup!!! can't wait to jump on board & watch our deficit really explode.

here he is campaigning for the november elections & he's not talking about creating real jobs; he's not talking about blacks having the highest unemployment rate in the country; he's not talking about the latino's having the highest foreclosure rate in the country; &, for the females, he's not talking about this.................................

OBAMA CAN'T & WON'T HELP US!!!

hello america!!! here's your daily jobs situation...http://www.dailyjobcuts.com/   i just don't see the creation of new jobs greatly counter-balancing the job losses &, with all of the projected layoffs on the horizon, the balance may end up in a push.

i personally know of 2 people in my area that recently were laid off but did not work long enough to qualify for unemployment benefits because they used up all of their benefits due to a prior lay off. so, they're stuck in the middle & have applied for public assistance.

&, there's the neighbor across the street who lost his job last friday & rather then file for the benefits (he's actually saving them for an emergency) he's going to live off of what he has in the bank & look for more work..........................

these are just 3 people that help the claims numbers come down &, there are of lot more people out there like them. so no, one can 'read' into the claim numbers any way they wish to but, to call it a good sign is wrong & misleading.

there are far too many 'negatives' & 'unknowns'---(the 'intangibles')---in the jobs markets that make employers very hesitant about opening the flood gates however, the layoffs will continue until we reach that proverbial 'rock bottom'.

we have the jobs & we have more then enough people to fill those jobs but, for the following reasons, we can't get the 2 together. employers aren't hiring & prospective employers aren't interested..........our economy is going to continue to take hits at all levels until we get the healthcare & pension packages under control, less regulations, obamacare issues settled, fairer foreign trade agreements, erase tax uncertainty's &, control all the gov't handouts....................
