hello america!!! if you're american, if you're for america, &, if you believe in fairness, why wouldn't you support a 'proof-to-who-you-are' voter policy? on the other hand, if you can't prove who you are, you probably shouldn't be voting in the first place.
voting is a 'right' that we should place all available safeguards on &, people should not be allowed to vote simply because of who they say they are---you can't just walk into any bank unknown & cash a check---you need acceptable id (&, in some banks a thumb print). try getting a drivers license without valid id. temp agency's require at least two types of id before they'll put you to work &, your id card can't be expired. better yet, try visiting obama at the whitehouse without an id card<><>good luck with that one & hope you don't end up in jail...
if obama & his supporters honestly think that requiring people to have a valid id card for voting causes an unbearable hardship on those that don't have one, then hell, they just wasted all their time on obamacare & the stimulus because they should have been in washington making it easier & more affordable for people to obtain a valid id card.
yeah, i know, color me stupid, however, before you do, let one of those persons without a valid id card go to detroit & apply for a job at either automaker obama bailed out & tell me the results. or, let that person apply for obamacare or foodstamps & not be able to prove who they are. BY LAW, THEY NEED THAT VALID ID CARD TO GET A LEGITIMATE JOB & ANY PUBLIC ASSISTANCE...
now i know that records get lost, etc, etc, however, there are agency's out their that can & will help those that need to prove who they are. so, that 'hardship' crap is just that...crap.
to those that can't or won't prove who they are, i say this:::how are you making ends meet? where are you living? how are you contributing to america if you can't be accounted for?
it does not matter the race of those without valid id. what matters is, you can't even go to a pawn shop to pawn something without valid id...
good people, let's keep it real....try registering your children for school & not being able to prove who you or they are.
either we have a lot of government officials turning a blind eye when people apply for certain services or, we have a very serious 'prove-who-you-are' problem.
oh, news flash...let a cop pull you over or stop you on the street (for any reason) & if you don't have your id on you & you can't answer their questions correctly, they take you & you have to 'prove' who you are---just saying!!!
