all of the following information comes from the center for responsive politics @ opensecrets.org & is a breakdown of which politician received money from some of the failed &/or failing companies that have received tax payer bailout funds:::::::::as you can see, i've taken the time to put it together for you &, i hope you will take the time to click on each site & then, see for yourselves why we are in this mess today. some of the names you will see at or near the top of every list are the very same people that are that are yelling the loudest for aig bonuses not to be paid out. however, you have not heard one word from these same people about returning one penny they received from these companies. also, please bear in mind that many of our elected officials have investments in these companies...also, this list is by no means complete & there are overseas failing or failed companies not mentioned.

america, if our elected officials are allowed to either reclaim or tax the aig bonuses, they should be 'forced' to return all campaign money they received from aig & any other company that received federal 'bailout' money.
if we allow our elected officials to continue to receive funding from corporations/companies, their oversight of these entities will be clouded & prejudiced towards them. this process has to be outlawed::::chris dodd, barney franks, harry reid, shumer &, rangle are prime examples of this. but, there are also plenty of republicans that turn their head when money is involved. & america, you know i'm right. if you run for office with verizon putting hundreds of thousands of dollars in your campaign war chest, you are going to vote on issues that favor them & vice-verse. &, i would also because i want those dollars in the future. but, the first time i voted on a bill against them, they will go out & find somebody else to back &, i'd lose those dollars.
AMERICA, CONTACT YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS & TELL THEM TO INTRODUCE LEGISLATION 'FORCING' THE 'SITTING' ELECTED OFFICIALS TO RETURN ALL MONEY RECEIVED FROM ALL ENTITIES THAT RECEIVED FEDERAL BAILOUT FUNDS.
ALSO TELL THEM THEY MUST PUT LAWS ON THE BOOKS TO PROHIBIT THEM FROM RECEIVING MONEY FROM COMPANIES/CORPORATIONS WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
