look, i don't have all the answers but, i do know that the obama-stimulus did not do all it was designed to do. he chose who he wanted to bailout & who he wanted to let fail &, this detroit bailout is just further proof that he was as wrong than as he is now...if his stimulus had of done everything it was supposedly designed to do, we wouldn't have half the problems we continue to have. in truth, his stimulus was a 'stop-gap' & yet, obama & company never presented it as such.
banks still aren't lending; homes are still being repossessed; 'green jobs' are a thing of imagination; &, truth be told (check the dept of labor yourself), we're signing up well over one million people for unemployment claims monthly---&, no matter who you think you are, you cannot spin those numbers to the good.
going back to obamas statement: does he still think his auto-bailout is paying off in a big way??????????
