hello america!!! color me stupid; call me stupid; however, you'll never be able to call me ignorant...i was against obamacare from the beginning &, the more i learn about, i still am.

there are those obama supporters that accept obamacare with open arms &, that's their right. that being said, let me ask all of you if the following makes sense.......

unless i have my facts confused, a big section of obamacare kicks in in 2014. part of that section says (paraphrazing here): that means, if you don't have & can't afford healthcare coverage, our federal government is
going to "penalize you with a fine" (this just happens to be what all the commotion is about...it's called the mandate). this also applies to business's for not offering you coverage.

so, you don't have it &, you really can't afford it (just google private healthcare coverage for 1), you're going to have to pay a fine!!! it's as simple as that & i'm not BS-ing.

if obamacare is allowed to stand, the federal government is going to force you get coverage either through your job, on your own or, through the welfare system...you won't have a choice...which leads me to this!!! IF THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH FORCING THE ABOVE ON YOU, IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THEY FORCE YOU TO BUY WHATEVER ELSE THEY DEEM 'GOOD' FOR YOU...&, IF YOU DON'T BUY WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO, THEY WILL FINE YOU...............&, the other side of that is JAIL...

it begins with an old argument that the repubs have raised repeatedly &, obama & others have repeatedly lied about. obama told us the 'mandate' was not a tax---he said it was punitive action for not being covered (a fine), & yet, obamas lawyers are beginning the case trying to convince the court that it is a tax & therefore, the court shouldn't weigh in on the case yet.    see here

simply put, a 'regulation' is a rule or law that's enforceable...as parents, we 'regulate' our children however, we call it 'raising them right' or 'teaching them wrong from right' or 'guiding their upbringing'...we instill rules in them to reside by under our roofs from day one &, those rules come with consequences when violated, if we choose to enforce them...

now, there are good & bad regulations however, most parents try to instill the former & then, there's that group of parents that prefer the latter:::i.e; those that raise their children to hate others because of the color of their skin or religion, etc....

knowitall, what in the hell does this have to do with obama? never thought you would ask...obama has installed regulations that hurt our economy & are producing negative consequences for all of us. i.e; he's publicly said he will bankrupt the 'coal industry' & he's doing it but, he's doing it in such a way that it hurts all of us. the 'coal industry's' loss of jobs is one thing &, then you add the loss of revenue those business's surrounding those coal mining areas suffer &, they also have to fold, which in turn hurts that entire community, which in turn, spreads out...&, that obama guys answers to the problems he's creating are, sign up for unemployment compensation, sign up for welfare benefits to include medical & food stamps, buy this 'greening of america' crap, &, tighten your belts........

this is business 101...if we tap our reserve & open up our fields, those foreign markets will lower their prices to keep our business. it's common sense---if you're driving, you know you need gas &, if one gas station sells it for $3.80 & there's a station 6 blocks away selling it for $3.65, which one do you go to?

yes, we need to have a heathcare system where everyone can receive service but, this bill isn't it. it doesn't do what obama & the dems told you it would do;LOWER COSTS (it won't) ENSURE ALL AMERICANS WERE COVERED (they had said 48 million americans were without healthcare & when all is said & done, we'll still have 30 million plus still uncovered). IT WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN PAID FOR (9 BILLION DOLLARS) (you see the new cbo estimate---where is that money coming from? in 10 years a lot of our children will be working & you can imagine their taxes. look on your pay stub/they already take out a separate portion for medicaid/medicare---that will have to rise). IT WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO ALLOW YOU TO KEEP YOUR PRESENT COVERAGE (how can you keep your present coverage when your employer finds it's cheaper to pay the fine then offer you coverage? you'll have to get it on your own & all you have to do is 'google' healthcare insurance for a single person & then tell me you can afford it. at the end of the day, you're going to have to apply for coverage from the welfare system & pray that you're not a few dollars over the limit---there are 2 negatives in that last sentence::::we need to shrink our welfare rolls & yes, they can deny you because you make too much) & NOT BE DENIED BECAUSE OF PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS...(to me, this was the only great thing about the bill & there are 2 sides to it...& because i am sensitive to the subject, let me put it this way----you have a brand new car & i have an 11 year old beat up chevy; we both take them into the shop for service; the mechanics have to do a lot of work on mine & you just get an oil change & check-up; should we both be charged the same for our insurance?).


obama & the dems spent his first 2 years running all over the country telling us we couldn't live without obamacare & the stimulus---well, you see what's happening to obamacare & the stimulus went to those that were too big to fail (which is the same as saying, if you didn't give, you didn't get////yeah, i know, everybody before obamas done it---PLEASE DON'T INSULT ME OR YOURSELF WITH THAT CRAP---YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA BECAUSE OF "CHANGE"). from where i'm sitting, those were 2 years wasted with some very questionable activities...can you remember that just before the cbo was to 'score' obamacare, obama invited the head of the cbo to the whitehouse for a closed door session??? that's like inviting your boss over for dinner the night before your job evaluation...the bill was over 2,000 pages long & no one really got chance to 'read' it. don't believe me::::the senate passed the bill 24 dec 2010, the house passed it 21 mar 2010 & obama signed it into law 23 mar 2010 (BY THE WAY, JUST SO YOU KNOW, OBAMA PROMISED TO PUT EVERY BILL THAT CROSSED HIS DESK ON THE WEB FOR 5 DAYS FOR THE PUBLIC TO REVIEW PRIOR TO HIS SIGNING THEM)...there were too many closed-door meetings concerning this bill & who could ever forget, speaker of the house, nancy pelosi saying, "we have to pass the bill to see what's in it"?

i'm sure that you can probably come up with some more things that require state issued id cards but, if we have so many people living here without that card, what in the hell purpose do they serve?

Foreign companies are increasing their industrial investment in the United States and concentrating their growth in the Southern states due to their “most hospitable business climates,” according to a new report.

Industrial investment by overseas firms in America rose $30 billion between 2009 and 2010 alone, much of it concentrated in the chemical and automotive industries.

“It is heavily focused on the southeastern states and Texas,” according to Joel Kotkin, executive editor of NewGeography.com and a contributing editor to the City Journal in New York. He cites a study showing that the five states with the best business climates and 10 of the top 12 are from the old Confederacy.

He also notes that foreign companies generally invest in those “right to work” states to avoid troubles with unionized workers.

The largest Mercedes plant in the United States is in Tuscaloosa, Ala., and last year the German company invested $350 million in the plant.

German automaker Volkswagen announced it will build a new assembly plant in Chattanooga, Tenn. Nissan, Toyota, and Kia have also announced major new plant openings or expansions in the South.

The average cost of building these facilities is over $1 billion, and they bring not only higher-paying jobs at the auto plants, but also employment at parts suppliers and other related industries. For instance, Germany’s Thyssen Krupp has invested $4.6 billion in the steel industry in Alabama, reports Kotkin, whose article originally appeared in Forbes.com.

He writes that managers in foreign firms believe Southern workers “have not picked up the bad habits and work rules common among their unionized Midwestern brethren.”

Only 7,100 auto workers in Alabama are unionized, and less than five percent of workers in Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia belong to a union.

And according to the U.S. Department of Commerce, foreign industrial firms are far less likely to impose layoffs on their workforce than their domestic competitors.

fellow americans, in this day & age, why do we have those that push for federal funding of contraceptives instead of teaching abstinence? are you telling me that it's okay for our young ones to be sexually active but, they should wear protection & have access to abortions? we have become a nation that's all for young age sex but, we frown when a woman exposes her breast in public to nurse her child...by the way, that woman nursing in public is subject to being locked up.

hello america!!! good people, i, for one, do not want to see 'world war three' but, when will we elect someone with enough fortitude to stand up to russia & china? &, for that matter, please include north korea, iran & venezuela in that question...obama is not the one for that job.

russia's putin rigged the elections & obama is going to accept him like he's the second coming...what a bunch of crap...........if obama would refuse to accept putin as legit until russia had a 'FAIR' election, that might help change how other country's 'elect' their officials........

but, obama (even though he has two children is balls-less///he has pebbles) is going to give putin the 'full red carpet treatment' when he visits us as if the elections were above reproach.
