hello america! it makes me feel real good when our elected politicians don't bow down to the president-any president. it seems that some members of congress don't see giving this 350 billion dollars to the financial markets as a way out of this economic slump. & i am in total agreement with them.
from the first federal bailout to the last one, none of this economic mess has changed for the better...not one iota. & obama wants to give them more money. why? the housing market is a wreck, the banks won't loan out any money &, the auto industry hasn't improved. congress can't can't even get the banks to tell us how the money was spent, & yet, we know some of that money was used to purchase other banks &, to clean up some of their debts.
it seems that not one penny of all that bailout money has helped us in any way, shape, form, or fashion. &, we're supposed to beleive that giving them more money will improve the present conditions.
i can't accept that i am the only one left in this great country that remembers algebra. our politicians have forgotten it. so, here's a little class for them. when you have a -$10.00 & you add a +$6.00 to it, you're still minus. now, if congress is going to clear up all the minuses in the various markets that are failing, we are in for a very, very long economic drought.
no, chasing bad money with good money is not going to solve anything.
if congress & obama really wanted to clean this mess up quickly, they would haul all those ceo's to a hearing & 'DEMAND' that they volunteer their services or face federal charges. after all, they cooked the books.
america, i know that people being laid off is no joke & yet, bailing out these markets is not working. the auto workers are making $28.00 per hour & if they didn't save any of that money, it's on them.
call or write your washington rep & tell them no to bailing out any more markets.
let the chips fall where they may. america is resourceful & will survive.
