hello america! for a 'man for the people', obama is really showing he's anything but. on the other hand, i for one, never will expect him to be that---he has very little record of helping the people.
his plans to 'force' 2.5 million children to get enrolled in his health care plan (even though they have their own insurance providers) strengthens the arguement about universal health care. if obama is allowed to pull this off, it will just be a matter of time before he 'forces' you, as an adult, to become enrolled in his health care package for adults. besides, this may come as good news to all those obamaholics that they will eventually have to pay for this out of their own pockets.
obama must not have studied all those other countries with their universal health care systems. they didn't work there & they ain't gonna work here. there's way to much corruption between the federal government & the health care industry for this to be anything but a failure. &, as a 'man for the people' obama knows this & he also knows you are going to be stuck in the middle of this failure. you're going to end up not having any health care at all.
you want to fix health care? put stronger, enforcable laws on the books that are designed to root out the collaboration & coruption between the government & the health care industry &, jail those that influence the cost of business & medicine. &, if a foreign market creates a drug that works, is safe, & affordable, allow us to purchase it without any crap.
all the above being said, i realize there are those that have no health care at all &, they are the ones that should be enrolled in health care systems that are designed to fit their health care needs.
