hello america! i've probably talked to about 20 people since obama was given the nobel peace prize & surprisingly, only about 3 of them said he deserved it. YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I WAS NOT WAS ONE OF THEM. so, to be fair, i'm taking a good, hard look at what obama has done to be deemed worthy of such a prize.
be patient, i'm still looking but, this is going to take a long while. okay, let me put it this way: it's extremely hard to find something when it's not there to be found. what has obama done (i said done-not propose) that has led to peace? let's go through the list::::::::
#1... um, i'm thinking---let's skip this one & go to the next one
#2... he did uh; um; let's see; hmm; let me try the next one
#3... he said---sorry, can't use said---has to be what he's done. please feel free to chime in here at any time & give me a hint because i must be filled with 'stinkin thinkin' & i'm 'thinkin' he hasn't done one 'stinkin' thing...please, defend him & prove me an idiot & a hater.
i need you obama supporters to stand up & make the case for obama getting the peace prize simply based on what all he has said because he hasn't done squat. please open your mouths wide & be prepared to taste your own shoe leather.

obama has talked a lot about peace but, he's done nothing to achieve it. america, after you read the following, please let me know if obama has brought about peace anywhere...
he 'deep sixed' the plans for a defense missile system in poland to install his own system--- surely, this means peace is at the doorstep---wrong! he bowed to the pressure from russia who, if you care to remember, recently invaded the area & is now building its own barracks there &, they are also reclaiming some of the land.
he did get isreal & palestine to meet at the whitehouse---this must be the one---wrong! they're still fighting over there.
he tells the world powers that be that "words must mean more then words"---ahh, this is peace at its best---wrong!---iran launched a long range missile & several others since. plus their leader has vowed to continue their nuclear program.
he's threatened north korea---here it is---wrong!---north korea has thretened to respond to any aggression & is working on its own nuclear program.
he's vowed to get our troops out of iraq---bingo---wrong! it seems the violence there is beginning to increase again.
he's undecided on what to do about afghanistan---a non-action must equal peace---wrong! the violence has increased in this country as well.
he's not saying anything about the fighting & killings in africa, china & other parts of the world---silence must equal peace---wrong!
i know it's safe to say that obama has done nothing that has lead to peace outside of our borders so, let me take a look at the peace he must have brought about within them. wait a minute, this is the very subject that obama avoids. he does not speak about the violence within our borders---i guess we're at peace here---wrong! gangs, thugs, & drugs have implanted themselves into our present culture in a very violent manner. but, obama did send his attorney general to chicago to meet with a principal---it's kinda late because chicago (this year) has already lost 30 plus school children alone to violence.
if it wasn't for various agencies within our borders, our home grown terrorists were going to stage another 9/11 for us to remember them by & obama had nothing to do with that...thank pres bush for getting that program in place.
obama has done nothing that has led to peace. PERIOD. they should have given him an award for talking---not doing.

FROM A TO Z
hello america! it doesn't matter how much i want to ignore politics, i continue to be drawn into the fray. so, with that being said, allow me to continue in my own way...
it seems that wolf blitzer (cnn) & chris mathews (msnbc) are not as pro-obama as they once were. it took a longer time then needed for them to get around to report the news the way it actually is & not the way they want to slant it. i can only hope that they continue to report the facts & let the american people decide for themselves.
the following are several areas i wish they would become more involved in (in their reporting)..........
A.....who really stood to profit if the olympics had of ended up in chicago because of obamas intervention? & please, don't run that crap about the city reaping the benifits...if glen beck (foxnews) can unravel it, they can also--if they choose to;
B.....how can obama campaign on 'an open & honest government' & then have nothing to say about charles rangel? why is he allowing this 'so-called' investigation to drag on so quietly & slowly? why hasn't he ordered his hand-picked ag to do an investigation? &, on the other side of that, he opened the can of worms about pres bush's cia opps & gitmo.
C.....is it true that the doctors that posed with obama this week were given smocks by the wh & that they weren't allowed to interact with obama?
D.....why are banks still failing?
E.....how can any of the media be content with the unemployment numbers obamas puts out? there are several factors that he doesn't even want to talk about:::such as: those that didn't earn &/or work long enough to qualify for benifits; those that worked 'under-the-table'; those that have had their benifits expire; those that didn't file because of pride &/or having a nest-egg; those that are illegal aliens.
F.....can obama name all his czars, define their rolls & payscales?
G.....obama campaigned on getting rid of the federal programs that don't work. in the 8 months he's been there, what has he gotten rid of?
H.....we all heard obama say what a great bailout his 'cash-for-clunkers' program was but, exactly how badly did it hurt gm & chrysler? ford was in the top 5 surrounded by toyota.
I.....this one is directly connected to H...if obama was telling the truth about gm & chrysler, why does gm have to close 2,400 dealerships & chrysler has to close 300 plus?
J.....it's people like obamas aunt in mass. that are helping to hurt americans. why hasn't obama gotten her taken off of food stamps & kicked out of public housing? she has another hearing scheduled (jan 2010) & yet, she's been ordered out of the country several times prior to this. what is the delay in deporting her?
K.....obama campaigned on 'reaching across the isle'. why is he only inviting democrats to the wh to discuss the economy?
L.....in 8 months obama has not spoken about the plight of the 'inner city people'. it seems that he has avoided this subject deliberately &, i can't recall his doing any phote opps in those areas.
M.....obama can call a cops actions "stupid" right after he admitted not having all the facts &, he called jamie fox a "jackass" & yet, not one word about david letterman....hmmm---things that make you go HMMM.
N.....since obama said the people he nominated to his cabinet were the most qualified, how come he can't get them all together & write his own bills & then present them to congress?
O.....we all know obama had/has ties to acorn but, if one is to beleive in him, shouldn't he be more forceful in calling for a complete investigation of them or, is he afraid of what may come out?
P.....we also know obama is a 'union man' & he has gone out of his way to support them. his support for 'card-check' would help the unions & cripple middle-class america. has he any idea what damage unionizing walmart or target, etc, would do to america?
Q.....even i realize that we have to take better care of 'MOTHER EARTH' but even obama has to know that his 'cap & trade' bill will hurt america. 'taxing' company's will only results in higher costs for the consumers---that's us.
R.....obamas promise of transparency is now a joke. how come no one tries to hold him to it or question him about it?
S.....another obama promise no one speaks about is his promise not to hire lobbyists. how can the media not grill this guy on his broken promises?
T.....obamas healthcare bill is going to hurt seniors by cutting some of the services they now receive. if anything, we should be doing more for them. didn't obama say this wouldn't happen? also, how can you charge/tax/fine people that may not be able to afford healthcare costs? &, how can you say you won't provide healthcare for illegal aliens when you don't write anything into the bill that would require them to produce valid id? (didn't do it in the 'CHIPS' program either. as important as obama has made this issue, if you were to ask him right now if he would sign the bill immediately, i'll bet he'll tell you that he hasn't read it yet. that's how important it is....HMMM!!
U.....obama has been on tv & running around the world saying how great his stimulus bill was/is...how come nobody has asked him for specifics on what jobs were created & where. which teachers, fire & policemen were hired solely because of his bill. more importantly, if obamas bill is/was that great, how come congress is flirting with another 85 billion dollar stimulus bill? things that make you go....HMMM!!!...where are all the jobs this bill was supposed to create? i guess that obamas bill was so sucessful that corporations, hospitals, city halls are still down-sizing just for the fun of it. banks still aren't lending, people are still losing their homes & jobs are just not out here...
V.....nobody seems to talk about how much the bailed out industry's contributed to the democrats---thought i forgot about that? this why some recieved federal aid & others didn't.
W.....pennsylvania governor, ed rendel hosted the governors bash with obama in philly & pa, like every other state are having major problems despite recieving federal bailout funds---rendel still doesn't have a budget & it's long past due.
X.....not surprising is obama telling you that he wasn't going to sign all those pork-laden bills & then went & signed the federal budget bill (which was filled with pork-laden projects). hold him accountable.
Y.....one of obamas firsts acts after being sworn in was to use his executive privilege to lift the ban on american funds being used for overseas abortions & abortion education...guess we're doing better then we were told.
Z......i find the following incredible...our space program, nasa, is talking about laying off people. HMMM!! who would have thunk it?
america, i didn't mean to write all that---what's worse is, i could continue. there's gitmo, iraq, afghanistan, 'don't ask-don't tell'. however, i think you get my point.
our media needs to get to the bottom of all of the above issues...they have the outlet, the time, the money &, the resources. true, they may step on some toes but, wouldn't you rather have the truth intead of biased reporting????

LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE
hello america! as a smoker, i am tired of picking up the tab for others & that's the bottom line. obama said he wouldn't raise taxes on middle class americans & then raised the taxes on tobacco products to help pay for his chips program. regardless of whose math you use, there are more middle & lower class american tobacco users then there are upper class. to sum it up: obama lied although there are those that will spin this to the ends of the earth to defend him. &, while you're defending him, just remember he said he wasn't going to sign any bills containing pork--another lie. & you must have heard about all those former lobbyists he hired--another lie. transparency--another lie. high ethical standards--another lie. surely you can't be that blind that you can't see the truth. & how can one forget obamas promise of an open & honest administration--another lie. who can forget obama at that caterpillar plant saying his stimulus bill would save their jobs--another lie. obama gets on tv telling us his stimulus bill has saved & or created 300,000 jobs & yet police & fireman are being laid off. look at his own home state (illinios)...chicago recently shut down the city--another lie. reading hospital in reading pa has laid off people & the city wants to lay off cops & firemen. philadelphia, pa where obama held his convention with gov rendel & the other govs wants to lay off 1,000 cops & about 300 firemen. so when you tell me your bill is working--it's another lie. &, the biggest lie of all; obama promised to get that stimulus money out the door immediately & yet, approx only 12% has gone out the door.
now we are facing his cap & trade bill, his card check bill &, his health care reform bill. all of them have created controversy because of the lies surrounding them. &, the leader of the pact spinning the lies is obama...........
his cap & trade bill will charge company's more & they'll pass that on to the consumers. why lie about it?
his card check bill is going to close a lot of company's that won't be able to afford unionizing thus costing americans their jobs. why lie about it?
his healthcare reform bill is a joke. it is filled with double talk. let's talk about a few of the issues::::
a. healthcare for illegal aliens---which american hospital doesn't have a plaque on its emergency ward wall saying that you cannot be denied emergency care? i guess obama wants you to believe that if his bill passes, these signs will be changed to say 'if you can't prove your an american, go bleed down the street' or 'have that baby in your own country even if the head is showing'. didn't the doctors take an oath to preserve & treat? obama wants you to believe that he has the power to over-ride that oath. if you're an illegal alien & you get in a serious car accident through no fault of your own, american hospitals will be forbidden to treat you. i'm not making this stuff up...can you imagine the police & firemen showing up at that accident, find out the injured people are illegal aliens, drag them to the side of the road, clean up the road mess & drive off? yeah, right. or, put them in an ambulance & 1/2 way to the hospital find out they are transporting illegal aliens, pull over & kick them out? we already pay for those that don't have healthcare coverage & it's not going to change. if obama can cram this down your throat & you swallow it, he can forbid firemen from putting out fires in an illegal aliens home. &, don't think the firemen won't let it burn down---remember MOVE in phily?
b. for tobacco product users to have to pay more for healthcare is wrong. alcohol plays a very big part in emergency rooms. but, let's not stop there. those that prefer trix to total should pay more. those convicted of speeding in the last 5 years should pay more. remember, it only takes 1 person to cause a massive chain-reaction on the highways. this list is endless & the easiest way to avoid singling out one group over another is to charge everybody---that's the american way. as the bill stands now, it's another way to raise the tax on the middle & lower class, again.
c. if sen baucus is allowed to put hefty taxes on the insurance companies the middle & lower class will bear the brunt of that tax. these companies will raise the premiums on its other insurance services i.e. home insurance, life insurance, car insurance, etc...so, when they tell you they are not going to raise your taxes---it's just another lie...
d. when you cut approx. 500 million dollars from medicare services, the elderly will bear the brunt of it. how can one call themselves american & cut services to our elderly? unless there's a government sponsored insurance, where are they to get the healthcare they need?
america, out of all of this crap there's one very important thing missing:::obama has yet to put his own bill out there. he's running around the country using 'fear' to get you motivated & he's blaming the repubs for the negativity his bill is receiving. he's also called those showing up at the debates 'un-american'. america, you voted this man into the whitehouse to be your leader &, here it is, almost 7 months since he's been in office & he has yet to have written a bill & presented it to congress. however, he will jump on the bandwagon of others---pattern of his life. how can the leader of this great nation get in front of the public & argue for or against a bill & yet, can't produce his own?

OBAMA, THERE'S MORE TO HEALTHCARE
hello america! you'd have to live on another planet not to know about the healthcare reform bill & debates &, no matter where you stand on the issue or which plan you'd endorse, there's is so much more to it that no one has even mentioned. well, why everyone else is focusing on the sole issue of 'healthcare' allow me to take you on a little journey.
in order for healthcare to be reformed, the healthcare insurance market has to be reformed & regulated. this is a given. however, if the market does become regulated & reformed, we are in big doodoo. no one has gotten up in public & mentioned any of the other insurance markets. well, what do they have to do with healthcare? everything! YOU CAN'T REFORM & REGULATE ONE WITHOUT REFORMING & REGULATING THE OTHERS. here's why.
healthcare insurance company's sell insurance to make money &, if you reform & regulate them, their profit margin will shrink. so, while we're running around here paying less for our healthcare (perhaps even getting less) all happy & thanking our government, these company's are not going to absorb that profit loss quietly. they are going to raise your rates on life insurance, auto insurance, home insurance, etc...aah! never thought about this, did you? unfortunately, it's common sense & i wouldn't blame them.
i.e: if the government just reforms & regulates homogenized milk, the other dairy products such as cheese, butter, & juice, etc, will cost you more. it all goes hand-in-hand. we just went through it with the high price of gas...if the goods got trucked in, you were charged more for them.
reforming & regulating the entire insurance industry has to be addressed in the bill or we will be at their mercy. it all has to be dealt with at the same time. after all, what's the sense of paying less to live & more to die...

OBAMA WILL NEVER CHANGE HIS SPOTS
hello america! obama has done it again. he hired a radical liberalist as his green jobs czar (van jones) who just resigned. obama goes on to explain that he resigned because he signed something he didn't read---(sounds just like obama & every bill he's signed)---when you hear all the statements that jones has made, you'll understand why obama is not to be trusted. damn near his whole cabinet was involved in not paying taxes or conflicts of interest. &, don't forget all those lobbyists obama said he wouldn't hire & did.
now that obamas healthcare reform bill is basking in the hot sun, he wants to take the attack directly to congress. &, i'm sure, he will be at his 'teleprompting' best. his problem is within his own party...some dems won't sign off on it with a gov't sponsored/run healthcare program & there are those that won't sign off on it if doesn't have that program. &, there are numerous other points within this bill that are being contended. please read the bill for yourself---it is not good for americans.
& obama is going to visit a school---bet it won't be a school in the 'hood'---& somehow he is going to talk about healthcare reform. you almost have to admire his strategy:::can't talk to the parents/let me get to the kids.
obama is the same person that originally told us we should be 'concerned' about the H1N1 virus but, don't panic. american family's have lost loved ones already &, the health department is putting out all kinds of warnings. how can you not panic? look at what it's done overseas. then again, he & his family have the very best of healthcare which is not in the bill he was to lazy to write. &, i'll bet you anything, he will never tell you about his healthcare benifits.
well, you know i'll write about anything but, before i go on let me say this. I am a registered repub but, i don't always vote straight party. i have problems with my party becausei don't think there are any 2 of them that think the same & they bashed pres bush. although they're right in opposing this healthcare reform crap, i think they're in it for the wrong reasons. they have yet to present a united face & coupled with not reaching out to 'inner city' dwellers makes me somewhat leary of them. but, make no mistake, this healthcare reform crap is purely political. in my next posting i will tell you what congress should do & how easy it would be for them to fix it.
until then, america, please continue to voice your displeasure with the present sitting congress & obama.
now that obamas healthcare reform bill is basking in the hot sun, he wants to take the attack directly to congress. &, i'm sure, he will be at his 'teleprompting' best. his problem is within his own party...some dems won't sign off on it with a gov't sponsored/run healthcare program & there are those that won't sign off on it if doesn't have that program. &, there are numerous other points within this bill that are being contended. please read the bill for yourself---it is not good for americans.

OBAMA IS NOT A LEADER
hello america! i thank each & every one of you that voiced your concerns regarding this healthcare reform crap. &, i want to extend that thankyou to the media outlets that covered the townhall meetings fairly. your voice was heard when you went to the polls last november & it's being heard now. if obama had delivered healthcare reform as he promised during his campaign, it would already be law. let me put it another way---if obama was a 'leader', we would not be having these townhall meetings.
if obama was just 1/4th of the man you thought he was, he would have went on national tv with H.R. 3200 in his hand & told america what he would line through & what he would accept. but no, he never was a 'forceful' politician in the past & he can't change now. he is what he is---the very sad part of this is, he just happens to be the president of my country.
i posted an earlier writing about who controled 'washington' & the president is not a member of that exclusive club. pelosi & reid have the power, not obama. i don't care what obama wants, if he can't get those 2 on board, he gets nothing. it's just that simple. now, if he had of written his own bills & presented them to congress, the majority of america would have accepted them. but this 'non-forceful' man didn't do that. he said he wanted healthcare reform & left it up to them to come up with the bill. & now, we have all this crap about what is in & not in it.
obama did this with the stimulus bill. he allowed congress to write it & he signed it & he had to know it was crap...it's his---win; lose; or draw. for him to get on national tv & proclaim it a success is beyond stupidity. he gives you numbers without backing them up. america, don't be misled by his speeches---look at the numbers. he is telling you a lie when he says his bill 'saved or created' x-amount of jobs. he cannot back it up with specifics today, tomorrow or the day after. plus---the one thing he isn't man enough to talk to about is the number of people that don't qualify for unemployment compensation that have lost their jobs...the waitresses, the under-the-table workers, etc...........i know it: he knows it: &, more importantly, you know it. you have people that were employed that just don't qualify for benifits..they simply didn't work long enough or earn enough. i am willing to wager you that there of thousands of these people in damn near every city you never hear about. what about those guys/girls that load & unload trucks for cash---no questions asked?
there's math; there's fuzzy math; & then there's obamas math. chicago ill recently shut the city down---this is obamas home state. i didn't hear him say a word about the plight of chicago---did you? he got on national tv in front of that caterpilar plant his bill was supposed to help & you havn't heard him speak about that plant since.---they are doing real bad & laid off thousands after his visit to them. & yet, that expert teleprompter reader, obama, has not uttered one word about their demise.
for obama & the other dems to blame the problems of his healthcare reform on the the repubs & 'un-americans' is pure stupidity. americans that were in love & swept up in the obama 'bash pres bush' campaign election are coming to their senses. they can & have read the bill for themselves. they know the difference between being pissed on & rain drops. for obama to get up there & tell you that what you just read isn't in the bill is the same as him telling you that you are ignorant.
america, if only 12% of obamas stimulus bill has been spent as of this writing, it doesn't matter when the rest of it is released. for him to get up there & tell you that his bill 'saved' or 'created' 350,000 jobs is crap. especially when he can't back it up with specifics. his 'green jobs' plan has fallen through the cracks. the auto industry is not getting any better........let me put it this way......the american auto industry is not getting any better. ford (bless their heart) seems to be the only one that is coming out on the good end &, if you care to remember, they walked away from the table of federal handouts. on the other hand, chrysler & gm got all those federal dollars & look them. the foreign auto makers are beating the crap out of them. so much for the infamous 'cash-for-clunkers' program.

OBAMA, WHAT CAN THE GOVERNMENT RUN?
hello america! the following will read like a school closings alert: medicare/broke; medicaid/broke; welfare/broke; fannie mae/broke; freddie mac/broke; amtrac/broke; postal system/broke; social security/broke; states/broke; cities/broke; immigration/running amok; border security/running amok; fda/running amok; 'cash for clunkers'/broke & running amok; faa/running amok; 'TARP'/running amok; the american dollar bill/broke & running amok; crime/out of control; drugs/out of control; gangs/out of control; banking industry/broke & running amok (& getting to raise credit card rates before the fed crackdown); obama administration/running amok:::if you don't know where i'm going with this, you're not an american.
we can't & shouldn't trust our federal government to do anything that will truly help us & moreso, the present regime. the 'checks & balance' system is way out of whack. with the dems & obama having control, this country is sliding down that slippery slope & the only brakes are the repubs & the peoples collective voice, which congress seems not to care about until election time.
america, if you really listen to what obama & the dems are saying about their bill & then read the bill for yourself, you'll come to the realization that somebodies lying to you. after all the examples listed above, can any of you honestly tell me you have enough faith in any part of our government to run america's healthcare system? put the pressure on your elected officials to get this bill right for the good of the people or use your voice at the election box.
