hello america! if you've been following the news, you know there is a lot happening & to just focus on headlines or, just one issue, is almost impossible because they are all inter-related. so...
nancy pelosi must think we are stupid. she proposes changing the name of gov't/public option to consumer option. she said we would be more willing to accept the same package with a different name---google it & there's a video of it...HMMM!
olympia snow was used to get the healthcare reform bill out of the senate finance committee &, now that harry reid has put the 'public option' back in, she will not support the bill. at what point did she realize the dems wouldn't keep their word? in fact, reid said she was the least of his problems---google it.
joe lieberman will not support the present bill with the public option in it. nor will he support it with it giving states the option to opt out---google it.
obama was in virginia trying to drum up support for the dem gov for next weeks election, who is about 10 points down in the polls. it was also said he is going back to new jersey to drum up support for the dem gov there. my problem with this is, he's going to try to drum up that supprot from the black community. i can only hope that they realize he's done nothing for them in 8 months & there's no plan to do anything in the future.
then you have the dems split on the healthcare bill &, that is where the problem lays. so, i guess those dems that oppose the present healthcare bill are also "un-americans" & "radicals".

OBAMA, RETURN THE MONEY FIRST...
hello america! perhaps i didn't write this dark enough:::obama & congress, before you ask wall street to repay their bonuses or cap their bonuses, why don't you return all the money they put in your 'war chests' for your campaigns?
i've said it before & you must have missed my point. if you received money from any of the businesses that received bailout funds, return it & then go after them.
our elected officials are quick to point out which businesses received bailouts but, they are extremely quiet about how much their election campaigns received from those very same businesses. HMMM, i wonder why that is!
obama, you told america you were going to have an open & honest administration & yet, you openly & honestly won't return the money you received but, you want to go after the bonuses & cap the future ones...things that make you go HMMM!

hello america! obama wants to repeal the "don't ask-don't tell" rule which would allow those of the 'same-sex' persuasion to serve this nation openly & proudly.
before i tear this apart let me say this. i support those that seek same sex relationships openly. it's not GOD'S way or my way but, here in america, it's their way & right.
however, assuming that this rule is repealed, can you imagine what all this encompasses? as americans they would be entitled to their own set of rights that now govern the males & females. they would need their own sleeping quarters built, etc,etc. extra rules (similar to those that now govern the male/female soldier conduct) would have to be written into law. when off duty, they would have the right to dress as they wish-something they can't do now. can you imagine the 'gay' males dressed up like females in the EM, NCO & CO'S clubs? or the 'gay' females dressed up as males? can you imagine either gender acting out off duty army life as they really are?
now, i'm sure that there are some soldier's that either know or suspect that their counter-part isn't all man or woman &, because of the current rules, that's as far as it goes. they know when to use or not use the bathroom & shower. on the other hand, can you imagine those soldier's that didn't know or suspect & have used the bathrooms & showers with their counterparts that will now find out with the rule removed?
the repeal of this rule will certainly lead to a morale issue & would better be served left alone. you can't tell a 'gay man' he can serve "openly & proudly" & then restrict how 'he' can or cannot dress or act when off duty. another big problem would be in basic training...how far can you push a female mind in a male body or vice verse? --yeah, i saw G.I. Jane.
obama shot his mouth off during his election campaign to gather the 'gay' vote. now he's got a big problem because of it &, troop morale will suffer if he's successful in repealing this rule.
can you imagine if general mccrystal & general petraeus were 'gay'? in uniform they look sharp but, envision them off duty dressed in 'drag. i wonder what obamas reaction would be when they asked for more troops. can you imagine a 'gay' general colin powell reporting to pres bush & then getting off duty to dress up as a female?
as much as i am for the 'same sex persuasion' to have equal rights & protection, i am strongly against the repeal of this rule.
if i offended anyone with my choice of words such as 'gay', ect, i strongly apologize not knowing what the correct wording is.

CONCERN, NO---PANIC, YES!
hello america! some of you tell me that i havn't given obama enough time...others say i'm being too hard on him...& then, there are those that say i'm too judgemental. apparently, none of you have tried to get the H1N1 flu shot or spray. you damn sure are not one of the approximately 100 families that have lost a child to the H1N1 virus.
no! i am not blaming obama for the virus. however, i, & many others, am finding fault with his handling of it. &, the following is why..........
on 4/30/09, obama said there was cause for concern but not panic...how many american death's does it take to crossover from 'concern' to 'panic'? here it is almost 5 months after obama gave this speech & doctors, clinics & hospitals not only don't have the shots or spray, they don't even know when they're going to get it. i go to the allentown, pa veterans administration clinic & they didn't even know when the shots/sprays were coming in.
i find the above extremely upsetting, &, even more so when i continue to hear obama blame pres bush for all of our problems. couple that with the fact that we were pre-warned about this virus.
when will obama stand up & tell us he made a mistake? when will he he 'man up' & say he was wrong? when will he utter those words that i, for one, want him so desperately to say---i'm sorry? after all, he's the one that put the 'best people' in charge of this &, it's happening on his watch...(he'll find a way to tell you that he inherited this mess).

SOCIAL SECURITY---BROKE PT 2
hello america! i said yesterday that i would continue with the social security issue & here it is.
let's face it, the future looks gloom for those retiring in about 3 or 4 years. washington has known about social security going broke for years but, as of yet, has not done anything about it. on the other hand, there's only so much they can do.
personally, i think the figures i quoted yesterday are off. not knowing exactly where & how the government got those figures, i can only speculate that the next set of figures will be even worse & this is why...
our social security is paid for by our taxes & employer taxes & with all the recent job layoffs & future job layoffs, less money will be put into the system which means, less will be paid out in the future. &, if washington waits until the last minute to address this problem, they'll simply borrow the money (they're extremely good at that).
well, let's see. if they raise the retirement age to 70, they must include themselves in it. if they raise the tax percentage taken out of our checks, they must include themselves in it. if they opt to have some of our money invested in stocks, they must include themselves in it. &, lastly, they could just ignore it & revamp the whole thing.
presently, with all that's going on this once proud nation, this is just one more thing for washington to add to its lists of 'screw-ups'.

SOCIAL SECURITY---BROKE!
hello america! i recently contacted social security to get my own personal statement. well, i got it...dated september 21, 2009. i wish to share some of it with you....
"In 2016 we will begin paying more in benefits than we collect in taxes. Without changes, by 2037 the Social Security Trust Fund will be exhausted* and there will be enough money to pay about 76 cents for each dollar of scheduled benefits. We need to resolve these issues soon to make sure Social Security continues to provide a foundation of protection for future generations."

i will turn 61 this january & will file for early retirement 10/2010 (GOD willing). at this time, i am willing to take the lesser amount instead of waiting until i reach 65-66 because i am not sure what obama will do about it. for that matter, there's been very little talk about washington doing anything about it. i do know they were flirting with the idea of moving the retirement age to 70.
one would think that this issue would deserve immediate attention but, what do i know? after seeing: 1. what the dems & obama wanted to do to the elderly with the 1st healthcare bill; 2. what they want to do to the elderly with the present healthcare bill that will cut programs the elderly need; 3. they will not give the seniors a cola (cost-of-living-adjustment) for 2010; that none of them have addressed the problems with nursing homes & senior living care i can only come up with following conclusion::::obama & the dems don't care about the elderly. they are quick to call us "un-american" for speaking up at the healthcare rallies.
why can't they accept the fact that we have a vested interest in our future & the future of this once great nation that is quickly going to hell?
i am going to write more on this subject in my very next blog...

WHAT DID OBAMA DO???
hello america! i've probably talked to about 20 people since obama was given the nobel peace prize & surprisingly, only about 3 of them said he deserved it. YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I WAS NOT WAS ONE OF THEM. so, to be fair, i'm taking a good, hard look at what obama has done to be deemed worthy of such a prize.
be patient, i'm still looking but, this is going to take a long while. okay, let me put it this way: it's extremely hard to find something when it's not there to be found. what has obama done (i said done-not propose) that has led to peace? let's go through the list::::::::
#1... um, i'm thinking---let's skip this one & go to the next one
#2... he did uh; um; let's see; hmm; let me try the next one
#3... he said---sorry, can't use said---has to be what he's done. please feel free to chime in here at any time & give me a hint because i must be filled with 'stinkin thinkin' & i'm 'thinkin' he hasn't done one 'stinkin' thing...please, defend him & prove me an idiot & a hater.
i need you obama supporters to stand up & make the case for obama getting the peace prize simply based on what all he has said because he hasn't done squat. please open your mouths wide & be prepared to taste your own shoe leather.

obama has talked a lot about peace but, he's done nothing to achieve it. america, after you read the following, please let me know if obama has brought about peace anywhere...
he 'deep sixed' the plans for a defense missile system in poland to install his own system--- surely, this means peace is at the doorstep---wrong! he bowed to the pressure from russia who, if you care to remember, recently invaded the area & is now building its own barracks there &, they are also reclaiming some of the land.
he did get isreal & palestine to meet at the whitehouse---this must be the one---wrong! they're still fighting over there.
he tells the world powers that be that "words must mean more then words"---ahh, this is peace at its best---wrong!---iran launched a long range missile & several others since. plus their leader has vowed to continue their nuclear program.
he's threatened north korea---here it is---wrong!---north korea has thretened to respond to any aggression & is working on its own nuclear program.
he's vowed to get our troops out of iraq---bingo---wrong! it seems the violence there is beginning to increase again.
he's undecided on what to do about afghanistan---a non-action must equal peace---wrong! the violence has increased in this country as well.
he's not saying anything about the fighting & killings in africa, china & other parts of the world---silence must equal peace---wrong!
i know it's safe to say that obama has done nothing that has lead to peace outside of our borders so, let me take a look at the peace he must have brought about within them. wait a minute, this is the very subject that obama avoids. he does not speak about the violence within our borders---i guess we're at peace here---wrong! gangs, thugs, & drugs have implanted themselves into our present culture in a very violent manner. but, obama did send his attorney general to chicago to meet with a principal---it's kinda late because chicago (this year) has already lost 30 plus school children alone to violence.
if it wasn't for various agencies within our borders, our home grown terrorists were going to stage another 9/11 for us to remember them by & obama had nothing to do with that...thank pres bush for getting that program in place.
obama has done nothing that has led to peace. PERIOD. they should have given him an award for talking---not doing.

hello america! it doesn't matter how much i want to ignore politics, i continue to be drawn into the fray. so, with that being said, allow me to continue in my own way...
it seems that wolf blitzer (cnn) & chris mathews (msnbc) are not as pro-obama as they once were. it took a longer time then needed for them to get around to report the news the way it actually is & not the way they want to slant it. i can only hope that they continue to report the facts & let the american people decide for themselves.
the following are several areas i wish they would become more involved in (in their reporting)..........
A.....who really stood to profit if the olympics had of ended up in chicago because of obamas intervention? & please, don't run that crap about the city reaping the benifits...if glen beck (foxnews) can unravel it, they can also--if they choose to;
B.....how can obama campaign on 'an open & honest government' & then have nothing to say about charles rangel? why is he allowing this 'so-called' investigation to drag on so quietly & slowly? why hasn't he ordered his hand-picked ag to do an investigation? &, on the other side of that, he opened the can of worms about pres bush's cia opps & gitmo.
C.....is it true that the doctors that posed with obama this week were given smocks by the wh & that they weren't allowed to interact with obama?
D.....why are banks still failing?
E.....how can any of the media be content with the unemployment numbers obamas puts out? there are several factors that he doesn't even want to talk about:::such as: those that didn't earn &/or work long enough to qualify for benifits; those that worked 'under-the-table'; those that have had their benifits expire; those that didn't file because of pride &/or having a nest-egg; those that are illegal aliens.
F.....can obama name all his czars, define their rolls & payscales?
G.....obama campaigned on getting rid of the federal programs that don't work. in the 8 months he's been there, what has he gotten rid of?
H.....we all heard obama say what a great bailout his 'cash-for-clunkers' program was but, exactly how badly did it hurt gm & chrysler? ford was in the top 5 surrounded by toyota.
I.....this one is directly connected to H...if obama was telling the truth about gm & chrysler, why does gm have to close 2,400 dealerships & chrysler has to close 300 plus?
J.....it's people like obamas aunt in mass. that are helping to hurt americans. why hasn't obama gotten her taken off of food stamps & kicked out of public housing? she has another hearing scheduled (jan 2010) & yet, she's been ordered out of the country several times prior to this. what is the delay in deporting her?
K.....obama campaigned on 'reaching across the isle'. why is he only inviting democrats to the wh to discuss the economy?
L.....in 8 months obama has not spoken about the plight of the 'inner city people'. it seems that he has avoided this subject deliberately &, i can't recall his doing any phote opps in those areas.
M.....obama can call a cops actions "stupid" right after he admitted not having all the facts &, he called jamie fox a "jackass" & yet, not one word about david letterman....hmmm---things that make you go HMMM.
N.....since obama said the people he nominated to his cabinet were the most qualified, how come he can't get them all together & write his own bills & then present them to congress?
O.....we all know obama had/has ties to acorn but, if one is to beleive in him, shouldn't he be more forceful in calling for a complete investigation of them or, is he afraid of what may come out?
P.....we also know obama is a 'union man' & he has gone out of his way to support them. his support for 'card-check' would help the unions & cripple middle-class america. has he any idea what damage unionizing walmart or target, etc, would do to america?
Q.....even i realize that we have to take better care of 'MOTHER EARTH' but even obama has to know that his 'cap & trade' bill will hurt america. 'taxing' company's will only results in higher costs for the consumers---that's us.
R.....obamas promise of transparency is now a joke. how come no one tries to hold him to it or question him about it?
S.....another obama promise no one speaks about is his promise not to hire lobbyists. how can the media not grill this guy on his broken promises?
T.....obamas healthcare bill is going to hurt seniors by cutting some of the services they now receive. if anything, we should be doing more for them. didn't obama say this wouldn't happen? also, how can you charge/tax/fine people that may not be able to afford healthcare costs? &, how can you say you won't provide healthcare for illegal aliens when you don't write anything into the bill that would require them to produce valid id? (didn't do it in the 'CHIPS' program either. as important as obama has made this issue, if you were to ask him right now if he would sign the bill immediately, i'll bet he'll tell you that he hasn't read it yet. that's how important it is....HMMM!!
U.....obama has been on tv & running around the world saying how great his stimulus bill was/is...how come nobody has asked him for specifics on what jobs were created & where. which teachers, fire & policemen were hired solely because of his bill. more importantly, if obamas bill is/was that great, how come congress is flirting with another 85 billion dollar stimulus bill? things that make you go....HMMM!!!...where are all the jobs this bill was supposed to create? i guess that obamas bill was so sucessful that corporations, hospitals, city halls are still down-sizing just for the fun of it. banks still aren't lending, people are still losing their homes & jobs are just not out here...
V.....nobody seems to talk about how much the bailed out industry's contributed to the democrats---thought i forgot about that? this why some recieved federal aid & others didn't.

it seems that wolf blitzer (cnn) & chris mathews (msnbc) are not as pro-obama as they once were. it took a longer time then needed for them to get around to report the news the way it actually is & not the way they want to slant it. i can only hope that they continue to report the facts & let the american people decide for themselves.
the following are several areas i wish they would become more involved in (in their reporting)..........
A.....who really stood to profit if the olympics had of ended up in chicago because of obamas intervention? & please, don't run that crap about the city reaping the benifits...if glen beck (foxnews) can unravel it, they can also--if they choose to;
B.....how can obama campaign on 'an open & honest government' & then have nothing to say about charles rangel? why is he allowing this 'so-called' investigation to drag on so quietly & slowly? why hasn't he ordered his hand-picked ag to do an investigation? &, on the other side of that, he opened the can of worms about pres bush's cia opps & gitmo.
C.....is it true that the doctors that posed with obama this week were given smocks by the wh & that they weren't allowed to interact with obama?
D.....why are banks still failing?
E.....how can any of the media be content with the unemployment numbers obamas puts out? there are several factors that he doesn't even want to talk about:::such as: those that didn't earn &/or work long enough to qualify for benifits; those that worked 'under-the-table'; those that have had their benifits expire; those that didn't file because of pride &/or having a nest-egg; those that are illegal aliens.
F.....can obama name all his czars, define their rolls & payscales?
G.....obama campaigned on getting rid of the federal programs that don't work. in the 8 months he's been there, what has he gotten rid of?
H.....we all heard obama say what a great bailout his 'cash-for-clunkers' program was but, exactly how badly did it hurt gm & chrysler? ford was in the top 5 surrounded by toyota.
I.....this one is directly connected to H...if obama was telling the truth about gm & chrysler, why does gm have to close 2,400 dealerships & chrysler has to close 300 plus?
J.....it's people like obamas aunt in mass. that are helping to hurt americans. why hasn't obama gotten her taken off of food stamps & kicked out of public housing? she has another hearing scheduled (jan 2010) & yet, she's been ordered out of the country several times prior to this. what is the delay in deporting her?
K.....obama campaigned on 'reaching across the isle'. why is he only inviting democrats to the wh to discuss the economy?
L.....in 8 months obama has not spoken about the plight of the 'inner city people'. it seems that he has avoided this subject deliberately &, i can't recall his doing any phote opps in those areas.
M.....obama can call a cops actions "stupid" right after he admitted not having all the facts &, he called jamie fox a "jackass" & yet, not one word about david letterman....hmmm---things that make you go HMMM.
N.....since obama said the people he nominated to his cabinet were the most qualified, how come he can't get them all together & write his own bills & then present them to congress?
O.....we all know obama had/has ties to acorn but, if one is to beleive in him, shouldn't he be more forceful in calling for a complete investigation of them or, is he afraid of what may come out?
P.....we also know obama is a 'union man' & he has gone out of his way to support them. his support for 'card-check' would help the unions & cripple middle-class america. has he any idea what damage unionizing walmart or target, etc, would do to america?
Q.....even i realize that we have to take better care of 'MOTHER EARTH' but even obama has to know that his 'cap & trade' bill will hurt america. 'taxing' company's will only results in higher costs for the consumers---that's us.
R.....obamas promise of transparency is now a joke. how come no one tries to hold him to it or question him about it?
S.....another obama promise no one speaks about is his promise not to hire lobbyists. how can the media not grill this guy on his broken promises?
T.....obamas healthcare bill is going to hurt seniors by cutting some of the services they now receive. if anything, we should be doing more for them. didn't obama say this wouldn't happen? also, how can you charge/tax/fine people that may not be able to afford healthcare costs? &, how can you say you won't provide healthcare for illegal aliens when you don't write anything into the bill that would require them to produce valid id? (didn't do it in the 'CHIPS' program either. as important as obama has made this issue, if you were to ask him right now if he would sign the bill immediately, i'll bet he'll tell you that he hasn't read it yet. that's how important it is....HMMM!!

LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE
hello america! as a smoker, i am tired of picking up the tab for others & that's the bottom line. obama said he wouldn't raise taxes on middle class americans & then raised the taxes on tobacco products to help pay for his chips program. regardless of whose math you use, there are more middle & lower class american tobacco users then there are upper class. to sum it up: obama lied although there are those that will spin this to the ends of the earth to defend him. &, while you're defending him, just remember he said he wasn't going to sign any bills containing pork--another lie. & you must have heard about all those former lobbyists he hired--another lie. transparency--another lie. high ethical standards--another lie. surely you can't be that blind that you can't see the truth. & how can one forget obamas promise of an open & honest administration--another lie. who can forget obama at that caterpillar plant saying his stimulus bill would save their jobs--another lie. obama gets on tv telling us his stimulus bill has saved & or created 300,000 jobs & yet police & fireman are being laid off. look at his own home state (illinios)...chicago recently shut down the city--another lie. reading hospital in reading pa has laid off people & the city wants to lay off cops & firemen. philadelphia, pa where obama held his convention with gov rendel & the other govs wants to lay off 1,000 cops & about 300 firemen. so when you tell me your bill is working--it's another lie. &, the biggest lie of all; obama promised to get that stimulus money out the door immediately & yet, approx only 12% has gone out the door.
now we are facing his cap & trade bill, his card check bill &, his health care reform bill. all of them have created controversy because of the lies surrounding them. &, the leader of the pact spinning the lies is obama...........
his cap & trade bill will charge company's more & they'll pass that on to the consumers. why lie about it?
his card check bill is going to close a lot of company's that won't be able to afford unionizing thus costing americans their jobs. why lie about it?
his healthcare reform bill is a joke. it is filled with double talk. let's talk about a few of the issues::::
a. healthcare for illegal aliens---which american hospital doesn't have a plaque on its emergency ward wall saying that you cannot be denied emergency care? i guess obama wants you to believe that if his bill passes, these signs will be changed to say 'if you can't prove your an american, go bleed down the street' or 'have that baby in your own country even if the head is showing'. didn't the doctors take an oath to preserve & treat? obama wants you to believe that he has the power to over-ride that oath. if you're an illegal alien & you get in a serious car accident through no fault of your own, american hospitals will be forbidden to treat you. i'm not making this stuff up...can you imagine the police & firemen showing up at that accident, find out the injured people are illegal aliens, drag them to the side of the road, clean up the road mess & drive off? yeah, right. or, put them in an ambulance & 1/2 way to the hospital find out they are transporting illegal aliens, pull over & kick them out? we already pay for those that don't have healthcare coverage & it's not going to change. if obama can cram this down your throat & you swallow it, he can forbid firemen from putting out fires in an illegal aliens home. &, don't think the firemen won't let it burn down---remember MOVE in phily?
b. for tobacco product users to have to pay more for healthcare is wrong. alcohol plays a very big part in emergency rooms. but, let's not stop there. those that prefer trix to total should pay more. those convicted of speeding in the last 5 years should pay more. remember, it only takes 1 person to cause a massive chain-reaction on the highways. this list is endless & the easiest way to avoid singling out one group over another is to charge everybody---that's the american way. as the bill stands now, it's another way to raise the tax on the middle & lower class, again.
c. if sen baucus is allowed to put hefty taxes on the insurance companies the middle & lower class will bear the brunt of that tax. these companies will raise the premiums on its other insurance services i.e. home insurance, life insurance, car insurance, etc...so, when they tell you they are not going to raise your taxes---it's just another lie...
d. when you cut approx. 500 million dollars from medicare services, the elderly will bear the brunt of it. how can one call themselves american & cut services to our elderly? unless there's a government sponsored insurance, where are they to get the healthcare they need?
america, out of all of this crap there's one very important thing missing:::obama has yet to put his own bill out there. he's running around the country using 'fear' to get you motivated & he's blaming the repubs for the negativity his bill is receiving. he's also called those showing up at the debates 'un-american'. america, you voted this man into the whitehouse to be your leader &, here it is, almost 7 months since he's been in office & he has yet to have written a bill & presented it to congress. however, he will jump on the bandwagon of others---pattern of his life. how can the leader of this great nation get in front of the public & argue for or against a bill & yet, can't produce his own?

OBAMA, THERE'S MORE TO HEALTHCARE
hello america! you'd have to live on another planet not to know about the healthcare reform bill & debates &, no matter where you stand on the issue or which plan you'd endorse, there's is so much more to it that no one has even mentioned. well, why everyone else is focusing on the sole issue of 'healthcare' allow me to take you on a little journey.
in order for healthcare to be reformed, the healthcare insurance market has to be reformed & regulated. this is a given. however, if the market does become regulated & reformed, we are in big doodoo. no one has gotten up in public & mentioned any of the other insurance markets. well, what do they have to do with healthcare? everything! YOU CAN'T REFORM & REGULATE ONE WITHOUT REFORMING & REGULATING THE OTHERS. here's why.
healthcare insurance company's sell insurance to make money &, if you reform & regulate them, their profit margin will shrink. so, while we're running around here paying less for our healthcare (perhaps even getting less) all happy & thanking our government, these company's are not going to absorb that profit loss quietly. they are going to raise your rates on life insurance, auto insurance, home insurance, etc...aah! never thought about this, did you? unfortunately, it's common sense & i wouldn't blame them.
i.e: if the government just reforms & regulates homogenized milk, the other dairy products such as cheese, butter, & juice, etc, will cost you more. it all goes hand-in-hand. we just went through it with the high price of gas...if the goods got trucked in, you were charged more for them.
reforming & regulating the entire insurance industry has to be addressed in the bill or we will be at their mercy. it all has to be dealt with at the same time. after all, what's the sense of paying less to live & more to die...

OBAMA WILL NEVER CHANGE HIS SPOTS
hello america! obama has done it again. he hired a radical liberalist as his green jobs czar (van jones) who just resigned. obama goes on to explain that he resigned because he signed something he didn't read---(sounds just like obama & every bill he's signed)---when you hear all the statements that jones has made, you'll understand why obama is not to be trusted. damn near his whole cabinet was involved in not paying taxes or conflicts of interest. &, don't forget all those lobbyists obama said he wouldn't hire & did.
now that obamas healthcare reform bill is basking in the hot sun, he wants to take the attack directly to congress. &, i'm sure, he will be at his 'teleprompting' best. his problem is within his own party...some dems won't sign off on it with a gov't sponsored/run healthcare program & there are those that won't sign off on it if doesn't have that program. &, there are numerous other points within this bill that are being contended. please read the bill for yourself---it is not good for americans.
& obama is going to visit a school---bet it won't be a school in the 'hood'---& somehow he is going to talk about healthcare reform. you almost have to admire his strategy:::can't talk to the parents/let me get to the kids.
obama is the same person that originally told us we should be 'concerned' about the H1N1 virus but, don't panic. american family's have lost loved ones already &, the health department is putting out all kinds of warnings. how can you not panic? look at what it's done overseas. then again, he & his family have the very best of healthcare which is not in the bill he was to lazy to write. &, i'll bet you anything, he will never tell you about his healthcare benifits.
well, you know i'll write about anything but, before i go on let me say this. I am a registered repub but, i don't always vote straight party. i have problems with my party becausei don't think there are any 2 of them that think the same & they bashed pres bush. although they're right in opposing this healthcare reform crap, i think they're in it for the wrong reasons. they have yet to present a united face & coupled with not reaching out to 'inner city' dwellers makes me somewhat leary of them. but, make no mistake, this healthcare reform crap is purely political. in my next posting i will tell you what congress should do & how easy it would be for them to fix it.
until then, america, please continue to voice your displeasure with the present sitting congress & obama.

OBAMA IS NOT A LEADER
hello america! i thank each & every one of you that voiced your concerns regarding this healthcare reform crap. &, i want to extend that thankyou to the media outlets that covered the townhall meetings fairly. your voice was heard when you went to the polls last november & it's being heard now. if obama had delivered healthcare reform as he promised during his campaign, it would already be law. let me put it another way---if obama was a 'leader', we would not be having these townhall meetings.
if obama was just 1/4th of the man you thought he was, he would have went on national tv with H.R. 3200 in his hand & told america what he would line through & what he would accept. but no, he never was a 'forceful' politician in the past & he can't change now. he is what he is---the very sad part of this is, he just happens to be the president of my country.
i posted an earlier writing about who controled 'washington' & the president is not a member of that exclusive club. pelosi & reid have the power, not obama. i don't care what obama wants, if he can't get those 2 on board, he gets nothing. it's just that simple. now, if he had of written his own bills & presented them to congress, the majority of america would have accepted them. but this 'non-forceful' man didn't do that. he said he wanted healthcare reform & left it up to them to come up with the bill. & now, we have all this crap about what is in & not in it.
obama did this with the stimulus bill. he allowed congress to write it & he signed it & he had to know it was crap...it's his---win; lose; or draw. for him to get on national tv & proclaim it a success is beyond stupidity. he gives you numbers without backing them up. america, don't be misled by his speeches---look at the numbers. he is telling you a lie when he says his bill 'saved or created' x-amount of jobs. he cannot back it up with specifics today, tomorrow or the day after. plus---the one thing he isn't man enough to talk to about is the number of people that don't qualify for unemployment compensation that have lost their jobs...the waitresses, the under-the-table workers, etc...........i know it: he knows it: &, more importantly, you know it. you have people that were employed that just don't qualify for benifits..they simply didn't work long enough or earn enough. i am willing to wager you that there of thousands of these people in damn near every city you never hear about. what about those guys/girls that load & unload trucks for cash---no questions asked?
there's math; there's fuzzy math; & then there's obamas math. chicago ill recently shut the city down---this is obamas home state. i didn't hear him say a word about the plight of chicago---did you? he got on national tv in front of that caterpilar plant his bill was supposed to help & you havn't heard him speak about that plant since.---they are doing real bad & laid off thousands after his visit to them. & yet, that expert teleprompter reader, obama, has not uttered one word about their demise.
for obama & the other dems to blame the problems of his healthcare reform on the the repubs & 'un-americans' is pure stupidity. americans that were in love & swept up in the obama 'bash pres bush' campaign election are coming to their senses. they can & have read the bill for themselves. they know the difference between being pissed on & rain drops. for obama to get up there & tell you that what you just read isn't in the bill is the same as him telling you that you are ignorant.
america, if only 12% of obamas stimulus bill has been spent as of this writing, it doesn't matter when the rest of it is released. for him to get up there & tell you that his bill 'saved' or 'created' 350,000 jobs is crap. especially when he can't back it up with specifics. his 'green jobs' plan has fallen through the cracks. the auto industry is not getting any better........let me put it this way......the american auto industry is not getting any better. ford (bless their heart) seems to be the only one that is coming out on the good end &, if you care to remember, they walked away from the table of federal handouts. on the other hand, chrysler & gm got all those federal dollars & look them. the foreign auto makers are beating the crap out of them. so much for the infamous 'cash-for-clunkers' program.
america, this writing will never be completed until obama is out & the repubs regain control. when the president of my country can get on national tv, lie to my face about what is going on & have his dem leaders follow up on it---it is time for change. obama promised change & is giving us change we don't need or want.

obama did this with the stimulus bill. he allowed congress to write it & he signed it & he had to know it was crap...it's his---win; lose; or draw. for him to get on national tv & proclaim it a success is beyond stupidity. he gives you numbers without backing them up. america, don't be misled by his speeches---look at the numbers. he is telling you a lie when he says his bill 'saved or created' x-amount of jobs. he cannot back it up with specifics today, tomorrow or the day after. plus---the one thing he isn't man enough to talk to about is the number of people that don't qualify for unemployment compensation that have lost their jobs...the waitresses, the under-the-table workers, etc...........i know it: he knows it: &, more importantly, you know it. you have people that were employed that just don't qualify for benifits..they simply didn't work long enough or earn enough. i am willing to wager you that there of thousands of these people in damn near every city you never hear about. what about those guys/girls that load & unload trucks for cash---no questions asked?
there's math; there's fuzzy math; & then there's obamas math. chicago ill recently shut the city down---this is obamas home state. i didn't hear him say a word about the plight of chicago---did you? he got on national tv in front of that caterpilar plant his bill was supposed to help & you havn't heard him speak about that plant since.---they are doing real bad & laid off thousands after his visit to them. & yet, that expert teleprompter reader, obama, has not uttered one word about their demise.
for obama & the other dems to blame the problems of his healthcare reform on the the repubs & 'un-americans' is pure stupidity. americans that were in love & swept up in the obama 'bash pres bush' campaign election are coming to their senses. they can & have read the bill for themselves. they know the difference between being pissed on & rain drops. for obama to get up there & tell you that what you just read isn't in the bill is the same as him telling you that you are ignorant.
america, if only 12% of obamas stimulus bill has been spent as of this writing, it doesn't matter when the rest of it is released. for him to get up there & tell you that his bill 'saved' or 'created' 350,000 jobs is crap. especially when he can't back it up with specifics. his 'green jobs' plan has fallen through the cracks. the auto industry is not getting any better........let me put it this way......the american auto industry is not getting any better. ford (bless their heart) seems to be the only one that is coming out on the good end &, if you care to remember, they walked away from the table of federal handouts. on the other hand, chrysler & gm got all those federal dollars & look them. the foreign auto makers are beating the crap out of them. so much for the infamous 'cash-for-clunkers' program.
america, this writing will never be completed until obama is out & the repubs regain control. when the president of my country can get on national tv, lie to my face about what is going on & have his dem leaders follow up on it---it is time for change. obama promised change & is giving us change we don't need or want.

hello america! the following will read like a school closings alert: medicare/broke; medicaid/broke; welfare/broke; fannie mae/broke; freddie mac/broke; amtrac/broke; postal system/broke; social security/broke; states/broke; cities/broke; immigration/running amok; border security/running amok; fda/running amok; 'cash for clunkers'/broke & running amok; faa/running amok; 'TARP'/running amok; the american dollar bill/broke & running amok; crime/out of control; drugs/out of control; gangs/out of control; banking industry/broke & running amok (& getting to raise credit card rates before the fed crackdown); obama administration/running amok:::if you don't know where i'm going with this, you're not an american.
we can't & shouldn't trust our federal government to do anything that will truly help us & moreso, the present regime. the 'checks & balance' system is way out of whack. with the dems & obama having control, this country is sliding down that slippery slope & the only brakes are the repubs & the peoples collective voice, which congress seems not to care about until election time.
america, if you really listen to what obama & the dems are saying about their bill & then read the bill for yourself, you'll come to the realization that somebodies lying to you. after all the examples listed above, can any of you honestly tell me you have enough faith in any part of our government to run america's healthcare system? put the pressure on your elected officials to get this bill right for the good of the people or use your voice at the election box.

FLIP-OBAMA-FLOPPER
hello america! this is just a continuation of why you just can't trust obama...on 18 july 2009 he said any healthcare reform bill must contain a public option or he would not sign it. he campaigned for this. & now, 15 august 2009, he clearly says it doesn't matter if the bill has or doesn't include the public option.
in less then 30 days he's changed his mind & it's not because of the publics concerns about this bill. this bill is a political issue & that's the bottom line. ask those dems that support this bill that will be up for re-election in 2010. the passage or non-passage of this bill will determine which party will be in control of congress. as of right now, (according to the various polls), the majority of americans are against the bill & if their elected officials vote for the bill, they will be replaced.
the whitehouse press is doing everything they can to downplay obamas flip-flopping but, the truth is out there for all to see. they are trying to tell you that what obama said isn't what he said. the words came out of his mouth & they can spin it any way they want to but, they can't retract what obama said.
if you think this bill is good for america think of this:::AARP has lost 60,000 people since july 1st.
obama went on tv & said that AARP supported the bill & his staff has said he misspoke. AARP has said that they support some portions of the bill but not the whole bill. obama said the medical profession was on board with this bill & there is now conflict amongst the AMA concerning this bill. obama said that insurance companies were on board with this bill & yet, there's a backlash from then concerning this bill. obama blamed the repubs for the townhall uprisings & we all now know that that is pure bs. obama even started a whitehouse website to allow people to 'snitch' on people expressing negativity towards the bill---that site has since been taken down (big thanks to FOXNEWS)---but, by law, the whitehouse has to keep those emails for X amount of years & then they will become public.
obama has senators out there staging townhall meetings & getting press time in support of this bill.....america, the senate has yet to write their bill. how can any senator defend or attack something that isn't even there yet?
now back to obama:::the whitehouse & media are treating him just like they did when he bowed, in a greeting overseas, & they all said he was reaching down to pick something up. if you saw the tape, he bowed...end of story. &, the man i can't trust isn't even man enough to say 'yes, i bowed but only as a show of respect'.
i didn't, don't, can't &, won't trust him &, the most of the dems are just as bad. repubs, don't think you're getting a free ride here----many of you are just as bad.
pres bush may have had his faults but, he stuck by his guns. pres clinton said he didn't have sex with that woman & stuck by his guns. obama doesn't have any guns to stick to---he won't even write his own bills!!!he leaves it up to the dem controled house.

IT'S CALLED TRUST
hello america! it's called trust & when obamas name & the word trust are in the same sentence, it's an oxymoron...it's become that way with arlen spector & the word trust...it's become that way with nancy pelosi & the word trust...but, my main concern is with obama & i'll tell you why.
1.....obama said his cabinet would be held to high ethical standards & yet, he's hired people embroiled in scandals, tax evasions & lobbying & has made an excuse for every one of them
2.....obama said he would not grow government & yet, he's expanding it at an alarming rate & he's doing it in such a way that the people he's appointing as 'czars' only have to answer to him-so much for upholding the constitution
3.....obama continues to say he inherited this mess & yet, not once has he maned up & taken credit for contributing to the fall of the housing market because of his actions as a lawyer with acorn in suing citygroup under cra in 1993
4.....obama continues to say he inherited this mess & yet again, not once has he maned up & taken responsibility for his extremely passive stint as a senator in washington
5.....obama said he wouldn't sign off on bills containing 'pork' & yet, he signed the tarp bill into law that contains billions of pork dollars. he then went on to say he would 'scrutinize' all future bills before signing them & then signed the budget bill into law containing even more billions of pork dollars
6.....obama said he would not raise taxes on the middle class & yet, one of the first bills he signed was raising the taxes on tobacco products &, even if you use his 'fuzzy' math formula, you'll find there are many more middle class tobacco users then wealthy class users
7.....obama said he was the only one that could fix america's economic problems & yet, here it is 6 months later & it ain't fixed. to be honest, it's worse. obama rammed the tarp bill down our throats with the promise of getting the money out the door immediately & yet, the majority of the money is just sitting there doing nothing for us. you don't have to take my word---just look at that caterpillar plant in illinios obama used to promote his tarp bill. unemployment is still on the rise; homes are still being foreclosed on; banks still aren't lending; imports are up while exports are down; businesses are still folding; the states & cities the tarp bill was supposed to help are still in dire straights; &, the american people are still hurting
8.....obama promised to promote bipartisan support in washington---his attempts at this are a joke &, he should be given a rating of 'U' for unacceptable. you can't invite 8-13 of your own party & just 1-3 lowly members of the other party & expect progress---this was just 'see-through' window dressing---where in obamas history has he ever been the first one to 'reach across the isle'?
9.....obama says america needs this healthcare reform bill & yet, i am far from convinced he's even read it. &, if i ever get a shot at asking him some questions, i know that they will do worse to me then 'joe the plumber' but, i relish that opportunity. it may be his bill but we all have questions such as: if obama is going to prohibit doctors from investing & owning healthcare companies (& yes, i can understand why) why is congress allowed to invest in the very same companies they regulate &/or allocate federal funds to? &, if we are not to be taxed to pay for this bill, what in the hell does "The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax" mean? as an individual, if i don't have government acceptable healthcare insurance, you're going to impose a 2.5% on my income? you're going to exempt non-resident aliens from individual taxes? something is very shady here concerning 'taxes'
10...obama says 'buy america first' & then impliments a program that gives the foreign car makers the advantage. ask obama why he makes americans pay for a program that allows them to turn in their american clunkers & buy new foreign cars? then ask him how this helps the american automakers.
11...obama couldn't wait to lift the executive ban on overseas abortions & education thus freeing the american taxpayers dollars to pay for the program. in this sorry economic period, this is something that could have waited until better days. so, i/you must ask obama how this helps those americans that have are struggling now?
12...obama promised to get rid of the programs that don't work & yet, his aunt is still here (illegally) & living off of america. she has another hearing coming up in the beginning of 2010. obama, this immigration program isn't working like it should be & yet, why havn't you done something about it?
13...obama got all this money for education & schools & yet, he never once addressed the 3 main problems with our education system which are: 1-the enviornment the students live in; 2-the enviornment the students travel through to get to the schools: 3-the enviornment within the shchools. obama, no matter how many coats of paint you apply to rotted wood, you still have rotted wood
america, obama has had plenty of time to open the shroud of secrecy surrounding his past & has yet to do so. we still know more about osama bin laden, joe the plumber & sarah palin. I didn't trust obama in the beginning & i've come to distrust him even more. obama, why won't you open your college records to the american people? when the media & my government can tell where bin laden went to school & his grades & then turn around & can't tell me about obamas, my warning bells go off.
america, i'm very sorry to say, you've been duped. when you go to buy a new house & look in the backyard & all you can see is ragweed, guess what? no matter what the homeowner may tell you, when you open that back door tomorrow, you won't be seeing rose bushes & elm trees. obama has lied to us: i know it, he knows it &, you know it. how can you continue to trust him?

AMERICA, SOUND OFF
hello america! here's your chance to call or prove me stupid...you see obama & all of these politicians having these townhall meetings but, HAVE YOU EVER NOTICED WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE THERE? they don't have the 1,000 plus pages there. the dem are arguing about what's not in the bill while the repubs are arguing about what it does contain. &, the media shows seem to be the only ones that have the bill in front of them when they talk about it. how can you argue over a hastily written 1,000 plus pages bill relying on memory or what your staffers told you?
america, if you've been doing your homework, you'll know that there are some pretty serious discrepancies between what the dems are saying is not in the bill & what is really there. from the poor to the wealthy, the young to the old, this bill will effect every american living &, those yet to be born. we cannot afford to let our government screw it up. we have the power to voice our concerns & opinions to our elected officials &, if they listen, let them know they will not get your vote in the next election.
i look it at this way:::if you're for the bill, it's only because of what you've heard from the dems---not because you read it. i strongly urge all americans to read it & then ask their elected officials to explain it.

OBAMA, GIVE UP YOUR PRESENT HEALTHCARE
hello america! to listen to obama & the dems, you'd think that anyone voicing displeasure with the heathcare reform bill was un-american. if you are stupid enough (& some of you are) to believe that, then, you must also believe that obama was un-american when he voiced his displeasure with the iraq war. he & congress voiced their displeasure daily concerning pres bush---was that un-american? this is no more then an attempt to silence those that have grave concerns about this bill. after all, what is more american then be able to voice your displeasure with congress except the american right to do so.
these townhall meetings are truly showing america that the dems don't have the answers. they write these bills & try to rush them through before they are read so they won't have to face the backlash. voting on any unread bill should be unconstitutional.
this bill needs to be put under a microscope & honestly broken down for the american people---apparently, this is the very thing obama & the dems were trying to avoid. however, we can thank those in congress that opposed this bill (blue-dog dems, the repubs) & the media (to include those that were pro-obama biased during the elections).
i have the bill on my puter & I am having a hard time understanding it. it appears that the writers went out of their way to camouflage what they were saying. this bill needs to be simplified & honest.

THE DAY IS COMING
hello america! in one of my earlier posts, i said that before obama is through, this country would be wishing pres bush were still in office. that day is quickly approaching.
today, i woke up to foxnews live discussing the 'cash for clunkers' program. i was, & still am, firmly against this program. for one thing, it's not for america's benefit. ford focus was the number one selling car under this program but, toyota has claimed that spot. this program should prove once & for all to obama that american's want the most bang for their buck & (unfortunately) ford, gm & chrysler ain't it. gm & chrysler aren't even in the top 5 so, how is this program helping the us automakers? toyota is 1st, 3rd, 4th, & 5th. i must have missed the part where toyota became america.
when you compare the foreign-made cars with american-made cars, you have to look at the price, mpg's, comfort, style, warranty, maintenance, etc:::&, you have to admit that the foreign-made car is a better value &, even moreso with obamas program.
& then, check this out, the 'clunkers' that are turned in are destroyed. those charity's that have had those 'clunkers' donated to them in the past, are already hurting. "WAYS TO WORK" won't be able to help a lot of people with new cars. individuals won't be able to get parts to keep their 'clunkers' running.
let's keep it real:::obama started this program to boost the sales for gm & chrysler; not ford & toyota & (as is becoming a pattern with obamas programs) it 'ain't not' working. & obama wants to dump even more money into it. obama, you can convince me your program works when you can name the specific gm & chrysler automakers that have grown because of it...don't just throw out numbers without specifics---something you excell at.
&, then you have this: the whitehouse wants you to contact them when someone talks negatively about obamas healthcare reform bill. so they can silence you??? or, do to you what they did to 'joe the plumber'. obama already wants to stifle free speech.
&, lastly...you have these townhall meetings where the dems don't have the answers to the questions & then turn around & blame the repubs for staging the uproar...do they not read the bills they are trying to promote? do they not see that obamas approval numbers are going down (minus 7 points in the last 30 days)? do they not hear that nancy pelosi says she doesn't care about popularity numbers & yet, you won't hear her say that come election time? do they not hear charles rangel say americans don't care about the 'pork' in the bills & yet, you won't hear him say that come election time? do they not hear the harry reid say he will push the bill through with or without repub support & yet, you won't hear him say that come election time?
now there are those of you that think that whatever is said negatively about obama & the dems is made up by idiots & those plotting against america...i'm here to tell you that i love my country & what my country stands for. i'm also here to tell you that if you saw any of the news concerning the townhall meeting with arlen spector & kathleen sebelius, you'd understand why america is showing its frustration---basically, spector said the bills are broken up & given to the staffers to read & sebelius said that if the legislatures don't read the bill, the voters should tell them to. &, in response to spector saying they must pass this bill quickly, sebelius said the senate hadn't even wrote it yet.
america, we owe it to ourselves & the generations to come to get the right people in washington that will do our bidding---not their own...
today, i woke up to foxnews live discussing the 'cash for clunkers' program. i was, & still am, firmly against this program. for one thing, it's not for america's benefit. ford focus was the number one selling car under this program but, toyota has claimed that spot. this program should prove once & for all to obama that american's want the most bang for their buck & (unfortunately) ford, gm & chrysler ain't it. gm & chrysler aren't even in the top 5 so, how is this program helping the us automakers? toyota is 1st, 3rd, 4th, & 5th. i must have missed the part where toyota became america.
when you compare the foreign-made cars with american-made cars, you have to look at the price, mpg's, comfort, style, warranty, maintenance, etc:::&, you have to admit that the foreign-made car is a better value &, even moreso with obamas program.
& then, check this out, the 'clunkers' that are turned in are destroyed. those charity's that have had those 'clunkers' donated to them in the past, are already hurting. "WAYS TO WORK" won't be able to help a lot of people with new cars. individuals won't be able to get parts to keep their 'clunkers' running.
let's keep it real:::obama started this program to boost the sales for gm & chrysler; not ford & toyota & (as is becoming a pattern with obamas programs) it 'ain't not' working. & obama wants to dump even more money into it. obama, you can convince me your program works when you can name the specific gm & chrysler automakers that have grown because of it...don't just throw out numbers without specifics---something you excell at.
&, then you have this: the whitehouse wants you to contact them when someone talks negatively about obamas healthcare reform bill. so they can silence you??? or, do to you what they did to 'joe the plumber'. obama already wants to stifle free speech.
&, lastly...you have these townhall meetings where the dems don't have the answers to the questions & then turn around & blame the repubs for staging the uproar...do they not read the bills they are trying to promote? do they not see that obamas approval numbers are going down (minus 7 points in the last 30 days)? do they not hear that nancy pelosi says she doesn't care about popularity numbers & yet, you won't hear her say that come election time? do they not hear charles rangel say americans don't care about the 'pork' in the bills & yet, you won't hear him say that come election time? do they not hear the harry reid say he will push the bill through with or without repub support & yet, you won't hear him say that come election time?
now there are those of you that think that whatever is said negatively about obama & the dems is made up by idiots & those plotting against america...i'm here to tell you that i love my country & what my country stands for. i'm also here to tell you that if you saw any of the news concerning the townhall meeting with arlen spector & kathleen sebelius, you'd understand why america is showing its frustration---basically, spector said the bills are broken up & given to the staffers to read & sebelius said that if the legislatures don't read the bill, the voters should tell them to. &, in response to spector saying they must pass this bill quickly, sebelius said the senate hadn't even wrote it yet.
america, we owe it to ourselves & the generations to come to get the right people in washington that will do our bidding---not their own...

OBAMA, OPEN MOUTH-INSERT FOOT
hello america! when a reporter asked obama about the white cop arresting the black professor he said, "i don't know all the facts". this in itself would have been perfect but, he then went on to say that "the police acted stupidly". this was live, on national tv &, no matter how you spin it, he should have kept his mouth shut. now he's backtracking (as is his pattern) & inviting both to have a beer with him & their families at the whitehouse.
my problems with this whole thing are:::
1. the cop should refuse the invitation until obama apologizes
2. obama should not only apologize to the cop but, he should also apologize to america for
getting involved in something that does not concern him & allowing it to become a bigger
issue then it was.
3. does america pay for this trip & the beer? &, please don't forget what all this entails such as
security, staffing & service.

TO: BROTHER T--- & OTHERS LIKE HIM
hello america! amazingly i find myself still trying to educate others concerning obama. in fact, i was in a debate with this one brother (reading, pa-friday-7/24/2009) who is all for obama & strongly dislikes pres bush. &, loke obama, he is willing to give all the blame for our country's problems on pres bush. well, brother T---, you are entittled to your opinion, as is all americans.
seemingly, you got caught up in the obama rush & you've become an obamaholic. the man can do no wrong in your eyes. this is the same reaction i get when i confront other obamaholics. obama supporters (at least in public) go to great lengths to show their support for him---but, behind closed doors, they seem to be coming to their senses because obamas poll numbers are falling.
but, back to brother T---. when i ask him what i ask others about obama, he can't answer me. he changes the subject. & america, it's a very simple question...what has obama ever done that was good for this country? why is this one question so hard for his supporters to answer?
if you support a professional sports team, you can tell me all about them---good & bad. ditto with a boxer; race car driver;;;;i should say that we debate sports from little league on up. america, you know we can get into some pretty heated debates about sports. car owners, you can tell me if your car is good or if its a lemon & why. shoppers, you can tell which stores are good to shop in & which ones aren't & why. flyers can tell you which airlines are good & which ones aren't. & why. for that matter, my ex-wife (she's a nurse) & i got into a little debate over which hospital was better for me. diners can tell you which restaurants are good or bad & why. we even debate which state or city is good to live in or not & why. we even debate tv shows. &, don't forget our soda & beer commercials---'tastes great/less filling'. so, if you can tell me that garden fresh veggies better for me then canned veggies, why can't you tell why obama is good for this country? why can't you tell me what good he has done for this country?

SAY YES & MEAN NO
hello america! yeah, i'm still obama -bashing. he starts off his message to you by attacking 2 different republicans & finishes by saying he is not blaming the repubs. he starts an answer to the press by saying he doesn't know all the facts & then says the police acted stupidly in arresting a black harvard professor. he says the government doesn't want to own banks & yet, the government does. he says the government doesn't want to own automakers & yet, the government does. he said we needed his stimulus bill to stem the economic slide & it doesn't. he said we needed that bill to stop forclosures but, it's not working. he said we needed to bail out the lending industry so they can make loans but, the bailout isn't working. he said we needed the bailout bill to stem the unemployment rises but, it isn't working. he said unemployment would only rise to 8% but, it's on its way to 10% & higher. he said the stimulus money would go out the door immediately but, the majority of it is still sitting there. he said he wouldn't raise taxes on the middle class & yet, he singled out tobacco users & raised their taxes.
SHOULD I CONTINUE? YES, DON'T MIND IF I DO...

he lied to us about: his administration transparency; his administration policies on employing lobbyists: his nominating heads of his cabinet; his working with the republicans; etc, etc...

AMERICA, STAND UP & BE HEARD
hello america! while i may have a lot of medical problems, my mind is still very much intact. in 6 months from now (minus a few days), the democrats will have been in power for exactly 3 years & i am racking my brain to remember what good they have done for the american people. so, please feel free to chime in here.
2 1/2 years (as of right now) & i am finding it very hard to recall any good that came out of washington. &, judging the dems for the 1st 6 months of this year, i don't look forward to the next 6 months.
the energy bill is a joke; the tarp bill is a big failure; the healthcare bill is too costly; the college student loan bill forces students to obtain their loans through the government-not private industries; &, i can see why obama wants these bills passed now---i really don't think the dems will be in power after the next general election.
america, if you do your own homework, you'll find that this country is heading towards nationalism/socialism very quickly. obama has over 30 czars on the payroll that only answer to him & yet, control so much. in fact, the auto czar just told congress to mind their own business in reference to helping the auto dealers that were put out of work.
something is building here & if we don't speak up to our elected officials, this country will never be the same.

IT'S BEEN A WHILE
hello america! it's been a while since i was able to sit & type--sickness, old injuries, hospitalizations, & my sisters funeral---plus i have to undergo surgery to remove several lumps from my stomach. but, enough about me. so, let's get right to it.
obamas deadline for reducing the budget has come & gone without much fanfare. you should be able to remember when obama was on tv telling his cabinet to come up with the savings for each department. what happened & why isn't the media trying to find out?
i was against the tarp bailout from the beginning &, i'm not sorry to say, my reasoning was right. it was & is a sad joke played on the american people &, also at their expense. the stimulus has to be deemed a big failure. can you remember obama going to that caterpiller plant to push his stimulus bill? well, do yourself a favor & look at them now. sales are way down & they are predicting even worse numbers for the future. the president of this nation said we needed the stimulus to help companies like caterpiller keep their workers & survive. well, it ain't happening---caterpiller has laid off about 25,000 workers & the future does not look bright. he also told us that the states needed the money to retain police, doctors, nurses & teachers & yet, name the state that received stimulus money that has not downsized in any of those departments?
at the rate obama is going, his ratings will be lower then pres bushs'. this is a quote:::"Now most the money we're investing as part of this plan will get out of the door immediately & go directly to job creation, generating or saving 3 to 4 million jobs."-president barack obama, 1/28/2009. our unemployment rate is heading upwards daily & you know that most of that stimulus money is just sitting around waiting to be spent. in fact, several states have already swollen to the doulbe digit mark.

INVESTIGATE WHAT PELOSI WAS TOLD
hello america! here is the number one reason that you should believe nancy pelosi is lying-------
obama will stop at nothing to throw pres bush & his admin under the bus &, now that he has a chance to do that, concerning pelosi & what she did or didn't know, he backs out of it by saying, let's move forward. he & his press sec didn't even bother to say there may have been miscommunication between the cia & pelosi. that speaks volumes. obama's not going backing up pelosi tells me he knows she knew about the methods used.
so, he says let's move forward...he's the one that started this by 'closing' gitmo & exposing the tactics used there & telling america that he would release more photos. he's recanted on releasing the photos; has back-tracked on closing gitmo; doesn't want an investigation into the torture tactics used but, has left it up to ag william holder to investigate, who takes his lead from obama...& now, he wants us to move forward...
that's bs. call me stupid or whatever but, if the cia is lying to congress & is allowed to get away with it then all the bailouts in the world won't & can't help us. on the other hand, if the cia can prove they didn't lie to congress, that will restore a lot of our faith in the fed gov. more importantly, it will expose those that hide behind their 'power'. so yes, an honest & open investigation is needed. obama owes that to the american people.

i hope the media will not let this die. we need to know the truth:::&, we can't let obama now hide behind that 'national security' crap. we already know about the sleep deprivation, the loud music, waterboarding, etc, thanks to obama, now he wants to hide behind the security of our country.
america, i don't know about the truth setting you free (there are a lot of people in jail because they told the truth) but, the truth is right. send a letter, or call, or email your elected officials to get this investigation started.
&, if you think i'm wrong-so-be-it but, when was the last time obama didn't take a pot-shot at pres bush? &, you can best believe that when obama has the cross-hairs on pres bush, he is quick to pull the trigger. why is he stone-walling now? when in doubt, let the truth come out.

SPECTER, HOW DOES IT FEEL?
hello america! it is with great pleasure that i am able to say that sen arlen-sellout-specter finally
got what he deserved. 29 years in the business & he's just now learning that the democrats promise you one thing & give you another.
my fellow country people, this is politics at its best. apparently obama & sen harry-we-don't-need-stronger-regulatory-measures-reid had promised specter that he would be able to retain his seniority once he switched sides. &, as soon as he did, they stripped him-making him a junior senator. they even took his chairmanship from his---he lost a lot of power with his stupid switch, & now, he's at the mercy of the democrats, & this is why. the dems turned on him just like he turned his back on the repubs.
the dems have told him that he can regain his seniority---if he wins the 2010 election---the dem caucus can vote it to him. however, there are some issues that will be decided before then & his vote will be needed for the dems to push their crap down our throats. if he doesn't vote their way, he doesn't get his status back &, if he does vote their way between now & then, they won't need him after 2010. either way, i think he's screwed & he deserves it.
i don't see him telling the republicans that he made a mistake & asking them to take him back---besides, we don't need him. also, the damage is already done & his chairmanship will go to somebody else regardless of what he does.
the sad part of all of this is, specter switched parties because he could not win the up-coming 2010 election as a republican. he did for personal reasons---pure greed because, as a junior democrat, his political life career is at close to the end.

REPUBLICANS, THE TABLE IS SET
hello america! the pro-obama media doesn't have a clue as to what obama is up to, but, i have seen the writing on the wall & am here to inform you of what's up...
you've heard that old adage about keeping your enemies close---obama has taken it to heart & is keeping his within arms reach. he's very slick &, i truely feel sorry for all those that have been duped into thinking he was giving 'jobs' to his adversaries because he was 'truely reaching out'.

hello america! let me start by 'pissing' some of you off---america got fat (under pres bush & a republican controlled washington) much to easy &, much to fast. the few safeguards that were in place to prevent the present economic problems of today---EVEN WITH PRES BUSH & HIS ADMIN CALLING FOR TIGHTER REGULATORY MEASURES---were ignored by politicians for their own political & personal gain. the dems & the repubs both continued to turn a blind eye to stronger regulation of the housing & financial markets so as, to allow those markets to continue to fill their campaign war chests. &, because our government didn't want to do their job, companies 'cooked' the books & you now know the results of that.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
hello america! just heard obamas radio address. after signing his spending bills into law, he now has the audacity to talk about fiscal responsibility.
okay obama, you want fiscal responsibility, return all the campaign money you received from those companies that you gave tarp money to. let's just start there. then you can influence the rest of washington to do the same. then, sit your black behind down & really read those bills you signed & have washington repeal every item in them that does not immediately help the economy. then, you take a good look at how much you've grown the federal government & start weaning out the excessive agencies you've created. then you look at your executive orders & repeal those that have us americans paying for overseas non essentials, like abortions &, giving money to pakistan, etc.
now, i can look at your bills & see where we can save big bucks but, you have to do it. you have to stop bailing out these failing companies & let corporate america fix their own problems. you can't continue to use our money to 'help' them when they continue to lay people off, throw them out of their homes &, won't lend them any money.
you dump all that money into an education system that needs to be repaired from the outside in. that is; the surrounding school areas need to be cleansed of the drugs, gangs &, violence as do the schools themselves. no amount of money you pay the teachers &, no matter how modern you make the school building, you'll never address the real problems. as a former community organizer, you should have known this better then most. we already have armed police within the schools, cameras & metal detectors & the problems still exist. &, as you very well know, most of the students & teachers won't speak out because you can't protect them. you can dump a trillion dollars in cabrini green & all you'll have done is paint rotted wood.
obama, you have the american people behind you (well, quite a few of us are not), & you have a great opportunity to do what's good for this country but, you have to lead by example. &, your starting with spending a lot & now wanting to cut back is not a good example. before you go any further, clean up the mess you have made & then go forward.
another thing, obama. you didn't inherit this economic mess, you were a part of it back in 1993 (remember) & you've been a big part of it since you were first elected to washington &, you did nothing to stem the tide then & you were in the majority.

meanwhile, gm & chrysler did receive federal money & seem extremely close to 'failure'.
there is something very wrong with this picture.

FOR THE RECORD, I DO NOT CONDONE WHOLESALE TORTURE BUT, if torture will save american lives, i'm all for it. we get so caught up in the right & wrongs of war but, those we are at war with don't play by our rules.
how can you apply our rules & laws to those that send women & children into markets to detonate bombs? how can you want to investigate those that use devious methods to stop them?
america, let's get this right. if some group were to snatch my sons or grandsons, i wouldn't care what methods were used on the offenders to bring my loved ones to safety. would you?

HE'S SLICK IN A BAD WAY
hello america! obama is very slick &, i don't mean in a good way. he's now saying 'let's move forward' after opening the door about the torture tactics used at gitmo. he got the ball rolling by releasing the memos & now wants to sit on the side lines as a good guy that doesn't want to get caught up in the politics of an investigation. & yet, he & biden said during their campaign speeches that they were going to go after pres george bush...you can 'google' it or go here...

if obama was as honest as he would like to dupe you into thinking, he would order his ag to investigate why the government dropped the ball on our economy. but, this won't happen because it would cost the democrats their seats---they allowed this to happen on their watch of which obama was a part of---don't swallow that 'we inherited this mess' crap. how can you inherited something you've been a part of for the last 2 plus years?
this going after pres bush & his administration is pure democrat smoke-screen...it takes the obama spending off the front page; it covers the failed bailout attempts; &, more importantly, it hides what a democrat controled house & senate failed to do for this country since 2006. but, don't get me wrong...there are plenty of republicans that need to be nailed to the wall also.

WE DON'T NEED UNIONS
hello america! let's start with the 'TRUTH'. unions are only good for those companies & markets that can support them. that being said, i just need you to name successful unionized companies. okay, that's a hard one to answer so, i'll ask you an easy one...can you name a unionized company that's either failing or has failed? it's amazing how many roll off your tongue.
well, with obama & the democrats pushing for unionized labor, you'll have quite a few more companies to name. they are trying to make it so easy for unions to form within any & all businesses with just a simple, public 'yes or no' vote---no more debates/no more meetings. &, intentional or not, their plans will wreck this country faster then anything else &, the union leaders will help anyway they can because it means more money & power for them---the hell with the country.
unions cause companies to raise prices, which are passed on to us-the consumer. they also cause companies to fold up or relocate overseas. this is how it works:::::::::
1...certain companies are targeted by the union leaders;
2...debates & meetings (as it is now) determine which way the company goes based on secret ballot;
3...once the company is unionized, the members pay dues to the union for various services, ie; collective bargaining (which is a fancy way of saying higher wages), a voice in washington, etc.
4...companies are forced to raise their prices to afford paying the union members, thus, charging you more for their goods & services...which in turn put the union member & company in a higher tax bracket.
let me break it down like this...if you take target, walmart, jc penny, sears, & costco & unionize them, i don't think you'd be shopping them as much as you now do. they would be forced to raise their prices & pass them on to the consumer. can you imagine what a pizza would cost if dominoes became unionized? or, if all the truckers became unionized? how about the taxi companies? wherever there's a union, prices are higher......please prove me wrong, please.
come on america, tell me we would be better of with mcdonalds & burger king unionized..bet you wouldn't find a dollar menu anymore. let long john silver go union & i'll bet you won't be eating there much, if at all. can you imagine going to wendy's or kfc if they join the union?

yes, people need to earn more then what they are getting but, unionizing them is not the way. if we are to think that obama & the democrats are serious about upgrading the pay scale, why did they give us such a low minimum wage? they vote themselves 'cost-of-living' allowances & raises almost yearly & yet, have done so little for the minimum wage earner. &, their plans for unions don't help them. you look at our national minimum wage---you have to admit it's a joke.
unionizing the above named companies will flood the unemployment rolls because most of the companies can't or won't stay here.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH TORTURE?
hello america! sleeping dogs should be left sleeping, especially, the big ones. but, it seems that those that wish to further damage pres bushs' reputation, never learned the dangers of waking the dog up.
the methods used, (torture), to extract information from our captured enemies should be a national secret. when the idiots---you know who you are---expose those secrets, they expose our national interests as well...they tell our allies that we are weak &, they tell our enemies what to expect or, what not to expect.
ie; if i can break into your home knowing what you will & won't do, doesn't that give me an added advantage? &, your ally next door knows you can't keep your big mouth shut &, does & says
nothing about my breaking in gives me even more of an advantage.
i wrote of this subject before & the questions i pose to those that have a problem with torture remain the same. so, which of you want to be the first & answer them?????
1. if torturing a foreign captured enemy combatant prevented the death of just one american on the battlefield, is it wrong?
2. if your daughter (or any loved one) were kidnapped &, the police tortured someone to reveal where they were being held, would you really care how they got the information as long as your loved one was returned safely?
3. or, in the case of 9/11---if we had of caught one of those responsible for so many deaths & damage &, by torturing them prevented 9/11 from happening, would you say--LET 9/11 HAPPEN, WE CAN'T TORTURE ANYONE?
4. if your sister or brother were about to run over a roadside bomb in iraq but, we could torture someone to prevent it, what would you say?
5. if obamas daughter were kidnapped & the fbi couldn't find her, do you think you would hear him saying 'respect the rights of the kidnappers'? if you catch any of those involved ask them nicely where she is &, if they don't tell you, that's okay?

nothing about my breaking in gives me even more of an advantage.
i wrote of this subject before & the questions i pose to those that have a problem with torture remain the same. so, which of you want to be the first & answer them?????
1. if torturing a foreign captured enemy combatant prevented the death of just one american on the battlefield, is it wrong?
2. if your daughter (or any loved one) were kidnapped &, the police tortured someone to reveal where they were being held, would you really care how they got the information as long as your loved one was returned safely?
3. or, in the case of 9/11---if we had of caught one of those responsible for so many deaths & damage &, by torturing them prevented 9/11 from happening, would you say--LET 9/11 HAPPEN, WE CAN'T TORTURE ANYONE?
4. if your sister or brother were about to run over a roadside bomb in iraq but, we could torture someone to prevent it, what would you say?
5. if obamas daughter were kidnapped & the fbi couldn't find her, do you think you would hear him saying 'respect the rights of the kidnappers'? if you catch any of those involved ask them nicely where she is &, if they don't tell you, that's okay?
america, i do not favor wholesale torture, but, if torture will keep any american safe, i strongly support it.

WE NEED MORE THEN WORDS
hello america! i'm still being asked why i continue to bash obama &, i continue to list my reasons---but, more then that, i've noticed people changing their minds about his policies.
according to the pro-obama biased media, his trip overseas was a smashing success. the only success this trip produced was large crowds wherever he went:::he did not accomplish much in the positive. let me tell you why i say this...
he couldn't get the other countries to commit more combat troops in afghanistan; he couldn't get the other countries to commit more funds for world poverty; he has no idea which countries will take gitmo detainees; he tells overseas countries that they have more to fear from terrorists then we do & yet, over here, he drops the 'war on terrorism' slogan; he's pandering to china & russia at a time when they are building up their military, & yet, he wants us to reduce our defense budget; he bows to the prince of saudi arabia & then he denies it; he says our words have to mean more then just words to north korea & then, does nothing about the missile launch; he can't get russia & china to go along with a u n resolution calling for stronger sanctions against north korea---the u n just added more words in a condemnation of the launch-that's all; what did he accomplish except present the queen with a cd they can't play on their system?
then he gets back here & threatens the ship pirates with stronger action & they responded by going right out & snatching 4 more ships & even made an attempt to grab another american ship. so much for your words, obama.
&, during all this, obama & his admin is steadily trying to sell us on his 'spending' bills. how can you accept him on words alone? he went to that caterpillar plant & told them his bill was for them & a month later, caterpillar laid off 2,000-4,000 more people. isn't he the man that said timothy geithner was the only one that could help us? obama broke all of his own rules. his
'transparency' crap is a joke---go to that 'recovery' website & see how easy it isn't.
better yet, go to the site below from the citizens against government waste & look at their "PIG BOOK".....

&, for obama to have spoken about everything but the home-front problems of today says a lot. he has yet to say anything to america about the rash of multiple homicides/suicides nor has he said anything about the increase in child abuse because of the condition of the economy.
america, see him, hear him & then, really listen to him---you will be surprised at whatall he doesn't tell you & yet, he actions will tell you all you need to know---just look at his hiring of larry summers.

A WASTE OF MONEY
hello america! i must thank pres bush & obama for spending our money for the auto industry bailout. it's really wonderful knowing that they gave them all that money just to let them fall by the wayside, which is what they should have done from the beginning. i am a firm believer in our government staying out of the private sector. from day one, they have proved they can't run anything right.
anyhow, if the auto makers (either or both of them go into bankruptcy), how will the feds recoup the money they gave them? will we citizens have to eat the loss? &, how come obama isn't talking about it?
if, after our being told that they were 'too big to fail', obama gives them our money, then turns around & tells us they would be better off in bankruptcy, how can anyone honestly believe anything else he tells us?
if obama were just half-assed serious about protecting our interests, he would have hired more qualified people to look into these companies before he gave them one penny. but, he's just like every other politician in washington, you know, those that close the barn dooor after the horses have already escaped.
so much for your 'CHANGE' &, after he spends all that money the democratic controled congress gives him, that's what we will be left with, 'CHANGE'.

OBAMA MAKES US WEAKER DAY AFTER DAY
hello america! whether you voted for obama or not, recent developements have got to have caused you to ask questions (if only to yourself).
1. regardless of what the pro-obama biased new agencies say about his trip abroad, it was a failure: he did not get more combat support for afghanistan. he can't get russia & china to agree to stronger sanctions against north korea. &, he got suckered into agreeing to us paying more then the rest for international poverty. but, he was popular & drew crowds everywhere he went, even if he did give england a cd that they may not be able to play on their systems (second mistake---1st one was clinton giving russia a 'reset' button that did not translate to 'reset').
2. reducing the defense budget...this comes at a time when china is flexing her muscles &, russia has recently issued a statement that thay are going to revamp their entire military department to include nukes &, the building of 6 new nuclear subs with cruise missiles. russia will never give up her nukes & obama better figure that out very, very soon. if it were not for our nukes, we'd be speaking russian or chineese now. plus, russia has refuted our claim to the arctic & will fight over it--i guess we can always rowboat up there to fight a war.
3. for obama to allow iran nuclear power is a joke. this country has laughed everytime we ask for sanctions against them &, they have the backing of russia & china. if we allow them nuke power it's not a big stretch to nuke weapons &, it seems obama is willing to take that chance.
4. obama can't keep talking to north korea & sanctions just don't work. china, iran & russia support them & he lacks the experience to do anything about it. meanwhile, north korea is laughing at us & is talking about another launch.
5. obamas closing gitmo only proves obama moves faster then he thinks because he is left with the problem of where to house the detainees. it is to my understanding that virginia is willing to take some & house them in a maximum security facility...can you imagine all the demonstrations this will cause for & against this? & bringing them to our shores will just feed the hatred for us that radical islamists have for us. obama will just be stroking the fires at our expense.
6. obama has not really done a damn thing to stem the tide of::: people being laid off; people losing their homes; banks making new loans; &, his jobs creation is a joke.
7. combine all the above & realize that we will be indebted to russia & china for eons because of obamas uncontroled spending &, you have a recipe for our disaster.
you can argue any way you want but, when the president of my country makes one of his first official acts an executive order freeing taxpayers money for overseas abortions, i know his priorties lie outside on these borders. as badly as we are doing with the economy, you'd have thought his first act would have been to do something to help america.
obama has appeal, he has charisma &, he's a great talker with teleprompters but, america, he is not good for this country &, he lacks the leadership necessary to control congress.
