obama has praised his state department & hilary clinton for all they've done around the world &, when i compare then to now, i am really disappointed. when he recently said we're 'safer' now then 4 years ago, i almost choked from laughing so much. hell, you don't have to argue with me or call me those nasty names, just tell me where we're safer at & how. while you're racking your brain for answers, there's this:

the middle east is more unstable now then before the 'arab spring'---we can't even protect our own &, obama & company seem brain dead as to what happened in benghazi & why; africa is a smoldering hotbed & is about to explode on many fronts; europe is so close to financially falling apart; russia & china are building up their military while we are downgrading our own; iran is still hellbent on building a nuclear weapon & we're hellbent on 'papering' them until we run out of trees; north korea laughs at & continues doing what they want to...http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2013/02/11/earthquake-north-korea-nuclear-test/1911587/.......we've fed israel & canada to the dogs; china & japan could go to 'war' any day now; haiti  still suffers from lack of all that aid we promised; columbia & mexico still import their drugs & gangs here; our borders are not as safe as they should be; cuba is still a problem---no wait, cuba is a bigger problem because russia is trying to build a navy dock there; &, chicago (alone) had 500 plus homicides in 2012---just add the rest of the state & the rest of the country to that number; our streets, schools, work-places &, public places are not as safe as they once were:::::::::::::so, you tell me, where are we safer & why? hell, look at the recent incidents at our courthouse...even our police are not as safe as they once were. what about how the gov'ts of china & russia treat their own people & the outsiders that get caught up in that treatment???

for north korea to have been allowed to detonate a nuke says it all: OUR WORDS HAVE NO BITE TO THEM...

we're so safe that obama allowed his oldest daughter to 'springbreak' in mexico in mar 2012 along with some other friends---& what made that trip 'safe' was the 25 secret service personnel & mexican cops...

hello america!!! the following two articles should show you just how much obama & company continue to lie to you. the first one is rep nancy pelosi saying we don't have a 'spending problem'...http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/02/11/pelosi-false-argument-to-say-washington-has-spending-problem/   she seems to ignore the fact that our spending is totally out of control. she seems to ignore the fact that all this 'fair share crap' & 'raising taxes on the rich' was supposed to generate more revenue to off-set our spending. she seems to have ignored the fact that she called for one trillion dollars more in raising more taxes. she seems to ignore the fact that our 'fiscal cliff' problems all stem from spending. hey, let's keep it real...if you're the bread-winner for your household & you can pay all your bills on time & have something left over to save or splurge with, you don't go out & get a 2nd job; you don't cut off the kids allowance; you don't sell your 2nd car; you don't cancel your cable subscription. on the other hand, if your bills can't be paid on time & you can't borrow anymore, you do. i can only think that obama & company were absent from school when they were teaching 'real math 101'. & hell, in terms of being 'street-smart' they are 'street-dumb'. who doesn't know that when you're bringing home less then your paying out, you have a big problem??? in real life, you either get another job &/or you cut your spending. oh, & if things are really going bad for you, do you continue to 'LIE' to your children about how well things are going & yet, not explain to them why you can't afford to pay for their cell phone usage?

A FOLLOW UP!!!

hello america!!! this is an update to yesterdays post "JUST WHAT IS GUN CONTROL"...the senseless killings at sandy hook sparked a political showdown over 'gun control' led by obama & yet, there is no outcry for the following...http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=8964090...this happens a lot more often then we even care to think about or talk about. &, don't forget, there's the 'shaking the baby syndrome' that leads to death.

while there are laws on the books for all homicides, they are not enough to stop them. yeah, i know, i'm stupid but hey, who in america doesn't know about 'DUI's' & yet, almost every day, we see them in the news. hell, i've been guilty of driving drunk however, i was fortunate enough not to have been caught & i didn't run into anything or anyone (THANK YOU GOD)...

there is no answer to preventing someone from taking another persons life---at best, we have to change the 'thinking' of those we can identify as 'possible killers' & man, that's almost an impossible task because you'd have to know the breaking point of everyone. let's be real, not all homicides are planned. we go to clubs to have a good time & yet, if somebody grabs your girls breast, you get in a beef---all it takes is for you to push the other person; they hit their head on a concrete floor & like magic, you're arrested for homicide. while you're 'manning up' for your girl, the DA is going to be telling the jury that you should have walked away.

to 'politicize' gun control because of sandy hook is just a talking point &, more so when you have no plans to actually minimize deaths by bullets. on the other hand, just look at all the deaths caused by cars---we want them safer, we want them faster, we want them with all the bells & whistles & yet, we knowingly drive them too fast, lose control & cause an accident to property or life.

let's just say obama was successful in getting everybody to surrender their guns; i'd bet knives would be next on the list, then he'd have to go after 2x4's & baseball bats.

being realistic, i look at all the money & manpower used in the war on drugs & we all know there isn't a section of america that we can't find somebody willing to sell drugs.

gun control is not the answer...................

JUST WHAT IS GUN CONTROL???

hello america!!! can anybody tell me how the following will stop or even slow down gun violence???
1....remove (&/or hinder buying) assault type weapons from the lawful
2....severely scrutinize those applying to purchase guns legally
3....restrict the number of rounds in a magazine to 7
4....enter all those 'deemed' to be having a 'mental problem' in a national database & deny them gun access
5....ban all citizens from legally carrying a gun on their person
6....limit the number of ammunition one can purchase at one time
7....ban all those with a criminal record from legally purchasing a gun
8....add more mandatory prison time to those convicted of illegally having or, illegally using a gun
9....restrict the number of guns one can legally own
10..ban the sale of guns at gun shows
11..mandate that all gun owners surrender their guns

we all know that something must be done to halt all of the senseless killings but, what will any of the above do to keep those hellbent on 'taking a life' from doing so? what impact would any of the above have on the following (&, this is in my neck of the woods)........

obama talks about 'washington dysfunction' however, does he forget that in his first 4 years, he did everything but focus on our economy & jobs...he wants the boy scouts to allow 'gays' in &, is on record for saying if he had a son, he wouldn't want him playing football & yet, he'd readily send females into combat (does that include the front lines?)...he wants 'smart cuts' in spending---okay, in the prior 48 months, exactly what cuts has he been able to accomplish?...he proposes 'closing tax loopholes' but doesn't say which ones & yet, isn't this the same person that has created his own his own 'tax loopholes?'...

i keep telling you, i don't make this stuff up...judge obama by his actions, not his words.....he got his tax raise on the rich & now says the gov't needs more. you were told (during the campaigning) that raising taxes on the rich would not even put a dent on what we actually need & obama & company told you the exact opposite &, here we are, needing lots more....
