so, let me ask you this:::regardless of what side of the isle you're on, did the stimulus do what it was designed to do?
if you said yes, you never read the bill itself; well, it didn't work, isn't working now, & won't work in the future. for one thing, there's still stimulus money in the account. let me sum it up like this---if the stimulus worked, why did they then (& still are now) say it wasn't big enough? we did lose teachers, firemen, policemen & a lot of others after the passage of the stimulus bill. our unemployment rate shot up to 10% & is now at 8.2% & is threatening to go back up again. obama touted the stimulus as being able to keep the unemployment rate below 8%.
if you said yes, you're not keeping abreast of current events...people are still losing their jobs; people are still losing their homes; banks still aren't lending; those shovel ready jobs were never shovel ready; the amount of money obama sank in 'green' jobs has failed miserably;;;

OBAMA=TRIPPLE D's!!!
hello america!!! distort, divide, distract---all three of these tactics are being used by obama in his hopes that they will keep the focus from his dismal failures as a leader.
you should already be aware of how he is trying to divide america...you see him doing it every day. he has waged 'class warfare' on the rich pitting them against the 'middle class'. those living below the 'middle class' simply do not exist---at least obama doesn't mention them. by the way, in case you don't know which class you're in, here's some help from wikipedia::::middle class america makes $25,000---$100,000 per year (others place it at $32,000---$100,000) so, if you're making north of $100,000, you're in the 'fat cats' range but, if you're south of $25,000, you're not worth obama opening his mouth about...however, he will gladly give you food stamps & medical coverage &, if you're content with that without higher aspirations, obamas your man. of course you don't have to believe me & yet, i know you know that obama is a very strong union labor supporter---just tell me which union jobs only pay $25,000 per year or less...the majority of union workers just happen to fall in the 'middle class' range. well, fancy that...by the way, just to keep you informed, when obama bailed out chrysler & gm, the workers were making $30--$48 per hour....just saying!!!! also, you have had to notice that when obama hits the road, he doesn't spend time or provide photo ops with those those not in the 'middle class' range...DON'T YOU FEEL IGNORED?
another way he causes division amongst us is the immigration policy he doesn't have. oh sure, he'll say some promising things about it now because november is coming soon & he will court the latino vote however, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION HERE. obama promised immigration reform in his first year of office & nothing's been done. he also promised latino congressmen immigration reform if they would support passage of obamacare & nothing's been done. i will say this for him; he supports latinos in this country without documentation but the same can't be said for blacks, whites, asians or others...
now, one would think that a man who's supposed to be our leader would stand in front of the cameras & tell america the truth without distorting the facts...not obama. recently when obama visited oklahoma near a drilling well, he said that he was going to 'fast track' the drilling permits, etc, etc. he also said he approved of the drilling & that we are drilling more under him then ever before...what's wrong with that you ask??? allow me to tell you the facts....shortly before his trip down there, he rejected the building of the keystone pipeline. what he gave his approval on didn't need it & the part that does need his approval, he won't approve & that's at the border between canada & us. yes we are drilling more but not because of obama but in spite of him. the drilling is on private lands & doesn't need his approval however, the drilling on federal lands that needs his approval has decreased. his moratorium on drilling in the gulf & other places has really hurt our oil production & permit approval is at a stand still.
recently, obamas been talking about the buffet rule & wanted congress to pass the bill which was blocked in the senate. i know you've heard him say that buffet pays less in taxes then his secretary on the face of it, i also agree however, underneath it all, you find this::::buffets secretary is taxed on her employment wages which is one thing & buffet is taxed on his risk-based activities in investment which is another thing. if buffet was receiving employment wages like his secretary, he would be taxed at a much higher rate. yes, there are tax loop holes in our tax code which need to be address but, on the other hand, how many 'middle class' can afford to donate a 10th of their yearly salary to charity, or invest it?
obamas full of crap...he wants you to buy a chevy volt (from a company he bailed out) for $40,000-$50,000 & he will give you a tax break/credit for $7,500. this is the very same loophole the rich use. look at his 1st time home buyers tax break/credit---same loophole. that's like me telling you i'm going to charge you more for throwing rocks at glass windows & yet, i'm the one giving you the rocks.
every day you hear about obama or see him on tv...what you don't hear or see is him telling you his stimulus worked (how could it have worked if he's now saying it wasn't big enough?) nor do you hear him telling you how he passed obamacare which every american 'needed' & yet, company's representing about 600,000 union workers have received 'waivers' from it compared to private company's representing about 60,000 workers--------just so you'll know, obamacare waivers are granted to those company's that obamacare puts a 'hardship' on---& yet, it's supposed to be affordable, needed, & for everybody...see who's on the top of the waivers list?....
while obamas running around the country talking about the above & other more trivial things, he's not talking about new jobs (& the jobs he does talk about are policemen, firemen, teachers---all government &/or union jobs); he's not talking about the economy & how to fix it; he's not talking about how he can bring down the gas & food prices; he's not talking about how he can get the banks to start making new loans; he's not talking about how to keep you in your home....
for you people of color, obamas past has said it all...when atlanta had all of those 1000's of people show up for a job fair, he was no where to be found &, he addressed the black caucus saying, 'strap your boots up, quit complaining &, keep on marching'.
oh, before i forget...dems that supported obamacare are now coming to the front saying they made a mistake in voting for it & should have used the time to get other much more needed things done.
america, in obamas 1st 2 years, he & the dems controlled washington & didn't need the repubs for crap. why is it that the only thing america got out of it is, obamacare which very well may be overturned by the supreme court next month &, the stimulus, which didn't, isn't & won't work. but to let obama tell it, the repubs (had control of the house for 1 year only) & pres bush are america's problem...obama & the dems could have passed any bills they wanted to in his 1st 2 years & they squandered that opportunity to do the right thing for this country......& obama wants 4 more years to do what?

OBAMA, YOUR RECORD SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!!!
hello america!!! for starters, if obamacare, obamas stimulus & his other policy's were what we needed as a nation, how come we don't hear obama talking about them at the podium? nor do we hear him talking about all the promises he made this country prior to his being elected. something else you don't hear him talking about is that catchy little slogan he ran around the country shouting every chance he got---you know---"CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN". i mean, whatever happened to it? surely with all of his accomplishments, you & he must still believe in it? or do you?
well, let's look at some of those promises & policy's......
1.....transparency/nope
2.....hiring lobbyists/nope
3.....giving america 5 days to read a bill (on the internet) before he signed it/nope
4.....closing gitmo/nope
5.....cutting the deficit in half by the end of his 1st term/nope
6.....reaching across the isle (very feeble attempts)/nope
7.....changing how business is done in washington/nope
8.....signing pork-laden bills/nope
9.....fixing immigration/nope
10...to bring back jobs lost in 2007 & 2008/nope
11...to have fiscal responsibility & control spending/nope
12...to surround himself with experienced & capable people/nope
13...to allow c-span to televise the debates & congressional meetings/nope
14...to not allow no-bid contracts/nope
15...healthcare for all/nope (obamacare, if it stands will not cover all)

hello america!!! i was just talking to a friend of mine that voted for obama, who said he will not vote for him again. i asked him why not &, to be honest, i was quite surprised at how many reasons he ticked off (it almost seemed like he was reading from one of my blogs) &, he was very upset. he even said, go ahead, tell me you told me so &, i did.
his biggest problems with obama are the deficit & lack of jobs. plus he really believed obama was going to change this country; instead, he thinks obama has made it worse.
we talked for about 45 minutes & i really felt good that a voting democrat had finally came to the same conclusion about obama that i had...&, that is, he's not good for this country.
when i asked him if he would vote for a republican, he said he wasn't going to vote at all. i told him not voting for another candidate other then obama was the same as voting for obama. i not only convinced him to vote for the repub candidate, i also explained that the country needed his vote for repubs running for congress &, my reasoning was this:::we need repubs in the house, the senate &, the whitehouse to restore saneness to our country.
my friend said he's going to vote all repub in november & i believe him. he also said he's going to talk to those he knows voted for obama to get them to change their minds also...
we thanked each other & parted ways with me feeling on top of the world. i wish it were this easy to take the blinders off of all of those that supported obama.

firstly, everyone should have a valid id card to vote. that being said, forcing some groups of people (namely the latinos living near mexico) to obtain a valid id card, would create a hardship on them according to obama &, he's gotten his people to fight against it. i need to know why. what hardship is there? if they are here legally, they should be in the system & that should make it easier for them to get that id card.
now, i don't know how far they would have to travel to get to the 'gov't' center &, i don't know what it costs out there. on the other hand, i can't imagine there being a polling place set up for just 20 of them in their backyard. so, i don't buy this 'hardship' crap.
obamas preaching 'fairness' & i need him to tell me what's fair about me having to have a valid id card & they don't.
hell, i live in allentown pa & had to sign my grandson out of william allen high school due to an emergency &, i had to leave my id card at a security booth in exchange for an admittance pass. while waiting for my grandson i noticed that all the students had school id cards---wow---& then, when we arrived at st lukes emergency hospital on hamilton st, i had to show my id card to the receptionist & my grandsons. when we left the hospital, we went to the rite-aid pharmacy to get his prescription filled, & i had to show it again.
years ago when i filed for healthcare coverage through the public welfare system, i not only needed a valid id card, i also had to let them copy my birth certificate & soc sec card. when i opened my va benefits claim, i had to provide proof of who i was. when i opened my bank account, i had to provide proof of who i was. when i originally applied for my voters registration card, i had to show them a valid id. i've even had to show my id card at home depot & lowe's when using my bank card. i had to prove who i was & where i lived when i signed up for a public library card. when i went to career links for employment help, i had to show my id card. every job i have had has required me to show a valid id card & a soc sec card. when i went for my drivers license, i had to prove who i was. even on credit card applications, i have to insert my id card number. when i first moved into where i now reside, i had to prove who i was. when i go to the post office to pick up mail i have to sign for, they ask for my id card. even when i was walking on the wrong side of the law, the police always asked for my id card or drivers license. &, when i went to rent-a-center to rent a futon, i couldn't because my id card had expired by 6 days. when i signed up for my early retirement benefits, i had to show my id card, soc sec card &, birth certificate. when i started my life insurance policy's, i had to show my id card.
so obama, let's talk 'fairness'. why do i have to go through all of the above & others don't? why are you defending one group of people from having to obtain valid id?

&, if these un-documented people are contributing to our society as you claim, when they go to file their taxes, how do they do it without a valid id card? you know that we have to prove who we are when we file---try going to h & r block without a valid id card & filing. if these people are working without proof of who they are, how can you collect their taxes?

OBAMA, I WISH YOU'D LEAVE NOW!!!
hello america!!! why can't obama be honest with the american people? why can't he 'man' up & say he tried but, his policy's failed to stimulate the economy? he has to have seen or been told about the unemployment claims going back up & the housing market going back down...how can he be serious when he reads from the teleprompter that his actions 'stemmed-the-tide'?
what tide??? people are either still unemployed or are still losing their jobs; people are still losing their homes; banks still aren't loaning; company's are skeptical about hiring...&, the best he can come up with is to offer you food stamps? i'm sure that may help some however, it won't help those that have no home to eat in...rather then extend unemployment benefits, you'd think he be bending over backwards to get you a job. his own jobs bill failed to pass the democrat controlled senate &, they have the majority & yet, they couldn't even get all the dems to vote for it &, his budget got shot down also----97 to 0...

obama wants to distract you from his failures & that's why he's ramping up the rhetoric on class warfare. he does not want you to remember his stimulus & obamacare or any of his other failed policy's. &, you have to know, he's hoping that he won't have to defend any of his failures in any presidential debates with romney.
some of you may side with obama that the repubs in congress are the problem &, if that's your position, there's that bridge to no where---just get on it & drive because obama has your back. &, the fact about congress is, there are quite a few dems that don't share obamas view on everything. 67 of them sided with the repubs on tuesday's vote---see here---

so, i ask you....are you better off now then you were 3 years ago? &, is america better off now then she was 3 years ago??? from my point of view, i'm not & we're not...i feel we are leaderless. obama has not had the solutions to get us out of the very same problems we had when he was first elected. for him to blame everything that's wrong with america on everybody & everything else lessons his stature as a man. he wants 4 more years & i want to know what did he do with the past 3. oh, that's right, he's expanded the federal government, he's spent more money in 3 years then anyone else & wants to spend more &, he's over regulated business & the banking industry.
america is similar to a forest. yes, it may catch on fire & a lot of it gets burned to the ground however, it re-grows on it's own. america will bounce back once obama is out of office...
what tide??? people are either still unemployed or are still losing their jobs; people are still losing their homes; banks still aren't loaning; company's are skeptical about hiring...&, the best he can come up with is to offer you food stamps? i'm sure that may help some however, it won't help those that have no home to eat in...rather then extend unemployment benefits, you'd think he be bending over backwards to get you a job. his own jobs bill failed to pass the democrat controlled senate &, they have the majority & yet, they couldn't even get all the dems to vote for it &, his budget got shot down also----97 to 0...
obama is a joke...how can you convince yourself he's for you when he wants you to buy a $50.00 light bulb & a $40,000-$50,000 chevy volt? his energy policy is a big bust:::our money he gave those green company's is either lost (solyndra & others), going over seas or, it costs too much for us to buy the products. if you're struggling to keep your job & pay the bills you now have, how in the hell are you going to afford to put solar panels on your home??? another thing, all those energy saving, squiggly light bulbs that he wants you to buy are made in china (by GE).

hello america!!! i warned you about barney frank & chris dodd a long time ago because they, along with harry reid & others were very instrumental in keeping pres bush from getting congress to put stronger regulatory measures on fannie mae & freddie mac, which may have averted our economy's fall. by the way, just so you'll know, this is something obama doesn't want you to see &, the dems hide from it &, the main-stream media covers it up like it never happened....see here...
