hello america! i woke up thanking my LIVING GOD for allowing me to face another day. &, then i turned the tv on. why did i have to do that? obama was on with the governor of vermont talking about this need for action &, i 100% agree with them that something needs to be done now.
well, as much as i really want to support obama, he has this nasty habit of opening his mouth &, what comes out of it when he isn't teleprompting defies logic on any level.
he was promoting the bill the house passed without any republicans voting for it (along with 11 courageous democrats). please america, look up the bill yourself (rules.house.gov) & it's presently called "H.R.1". it's filled with 600 plus pages of BS &, even a blind person reading it without braile, would know it's crap.
obama is pleased with the package that passed the house vote & therein lies the problem...this bill does so little for us as a nation.
let me put it anouther way:::obama, (GOD forbid it should happen) but, let's liken this bill of yours to your oldest daughter having a serious accident & in need of urgent, serious medical care. let's see, the doctors respsonding would all have to consult with their chief & formalize a plan of action. then they would have to vote on that plan of action with some for it & some against it. then they would have to present that plan to their board of directors. let's just assume that the board okayed it without the support of some of the very capable doctors support. from here the plan must go to the stock-holders where there is expected non-support which could keep your daughter from receiving the care she actually needs. how would you feel?
let's break it down------
your daughters represents america-& yes, we need urgent & serious care
the doctors represent the congressional committees that formalize the care-repubs & dems
the chief represents you as our president-someone that wants to please himself, his fellow democrats & supporters &, the hell with main-stream america
the board of directors represent the house-a democratic controled majority with their own agenda which has very lttle to do with the good of america
the stock-holders represent the senate-repubs & dems with a line right down the middle
here is the problem...your daughter needs an immediate heart transplant, needs her left leg below the knee reattached or she'll lose it &, her right elbow needs to be replaced
well, the doctors plans favor what most of the democrat side wants...increasing hospital spending for growth; buying new equipment in the guise of providing more jobs; financially assisting other hospitals & charities that have supported them in the past; providing funding for poverty stricken families to receive mamograms & smoking cessasation classes; &, providing funding for a new lobby & fitness center within their hospital.
now obama, you being an educated man, i'm sure that when you sort through the 600 plus pages of crap they have presented you, surely you'll find something that will help your daughter now...
i'm sure you get the gist of what i am saying...you have damn near the whole world listening & watching you &, this is the best you can come up with for america? no where in your public history have you shown that you are a 'stand-up-take-charge-person' &, don't feed me that crap that your campaign shows that---take a pro-obama biased media out of the picture & you'd still be sitting in the senate: you know it, i know it & america will soon come to know it.

OBAMA, HOW LONG CAN YOU FOOL THEM?
hello america! if i were looking in the dictionary for the words hypocrit, 2-faced, forked tongue, double standard &, liar, i wonder if obamas name would come up?
it really bothers me that this man (we still know so little about), has so much power to negatively influence the rest of my days as well as those of my sons & grandsons---not to mention the rest of america.
america, please call me stupid if you will but, be honest with yourself & tell me what this sounds like:::obama recently said on live tv that the bonuses of the corporate execs were "shameful" &, believe it or not, i agree with him. they are shameful. that being said, he is hosting a superbowl party to view a game that will be played with about 104 participants that are making outrageous money (not to include the coaches).
in these 'disasterous times', how can you be nit-picky about what the ceos make & not condemn what professional athletes earn? now, one can argue that sports is entertainment but, the bottom line is, it is still a business. no one gets involved with professional sports for free---even the cheerleaders get paid as do the ball & towel boys/girls &, you even have networks & beat writers that do nothing but cover sports. the refs & umps get paid. they even pay the grounds keepers.
entertainment yes but, nonetheless, a business &, a very lucrative one at that. the professional sports market is at the very top of the pile when it comes to "shameful" wages. &, don't forget about professional wrestling, or nascar, or bowling, or golf, or---let me do it this way...it would be easier for you to name a professional sport where they don't make any "shameful" money.
now, there are several reasons for professional sports being so successful &, number one on that list has to be ownership/management & their ability to compete in a tight market. even in these troubled economic times, they fill their different venues with fans, they continue to sell their memorabillia (look at all those arizonia cardinals jackets that popped up overnight), they continue to have their sponsors paying more each season (look at the cost of a 30 second commercil in this years superbowl) &, they continue to pay their employees those "shameful" amounts of money.
OBAMA, YOU SHOULD HAVE SELECTED SOME OF THEM FOR YOUR FINANCE TEAM, NOT TIMOTHY GEITHNER. PLUS, THEY PAY THEIR TAXES ON TIME.
professional sports is the only market that will pay unproven individuals multi-millions of dollars before their very first professional game based on that individuals performance at a lower level. &, that's a calculated risk the owners are willing to take---&, don't forget the millions raked in by the agents.

i know there are families out their that had to cancel their superbowl party plans because of the economy &/or losing their jobs. then there is the opposite end up the spectrum where there will be big parties. however, i don't think any of them would broadcast their party in the face of those that suddenly can't afford to have their own. for that matter, ask those people in kentucky that have had severe weather-related problems & can't even stay in their own homes.
as usual, obama talks a good game. he got bush to have congress release the $350 billion dolars of that $700 billion dollar bailout &, he has yet to help anyone with it. what's up with that obama?
you are becoming very paternized-that is: first,you spread fear in the american people by negatively telling them just how 'disasterous' these times are & that now is the time for action; then you speak of 'reaching across the isle'; then you get a bill passed in the house that does very little in addressing the actual needs of today; then you get back on the news speaking about 'reaching across the isle'; then you host this superbowl party to support your claim of 'reaching across the isle' but, in the mean time...
...you broke your own rules about hiring lobbyists, you broke your own rules about tranparency, you broke your own rules about having an open & honest administration, you broke your own rules about not having any 'earmarks' in this american recovery & reinvestment act (H.R.1).

one of the biggest problem with jailing gitmoees in america is the repercussions that will come from the protesting in the communities their lodged in. the other problem is the influence they will have on the weak-minded american prisoners, who will one day be released to walk our streets again...another problem is the costs to the taxpayer in these dire times but, you really don't have to worry too much about this: obama & his crew will just get congress to print out some more money so as to increase our debt.
obama & his crew want to cut the budget for some of our weapon systems. based on obamas thinking, we'd still be in the dark ages. what weapon systems do we have that don't work? if obama had of been president when man came up with the idea of bullet proof glass & armored limos, he wouldn't be able to go anywhere safely.
our ability to produce our weapon systems & use them is what has kept us free & he wants to trample on that. however, i agree that to nuke a country is a terible thing but, if that's what it takes for us to remain AMERICA then so be it.

obama is a big hypocrit & his degrading those on wall street receiving big bonuses should be proof for you. if you remember, obama received $124,ooo. from fannie mae in contributions & has yet to say that was bad money management. he never said anthing about former ceo franklin raines raking in those big bucks. he never said anything about timothy geithner raking in those big bucks.
obama says this financial crisis is no fault of the american people---what he doesn't say (you can google this yourself) is that when he was a lawyer, he & others sued banks (CITY GROUP, ILLINOIS, 1993) under cra---forcing banks to give loans to the less-then-credit-worthy.
now the obama camp is putting together a plan to limit the pay of execs to $400,000. or less. this is crap-it's government steping in where it should have never been in the first place. it's also another ruse for government control.
he told us this crap about transparancy & under which conditions lobbyists could serve in his administration:::google his crew & you'll see his policy is a do as i say, not as i do one.
besides all that, look at timothy geithner & tom daschle---both of them had serious tax problems. geithner 'cleaned' his problem up just days before obama officially selected him &, daschle 'cleaned' his up after being selected by obama. nope, no business as usual here!

OBAMA, TRY DOING THIS
hello america! i just finished reading the american recovery & reinvestment act that obama has been been pushing for. if you have the time to read it for yourself you'll come to the same conclusion that i did---it's full of crap. very expensive crap at that.
the democrats can jump up & down all they want telling us what a gift to us they are but, this bill really sucks. it does extremely little for us...&, that's the bottom line. america needs help now & this bill does not provide it.
in my post yesterday, i finished with about 56,000 people losing their jobs. i wake up today & the figure is around 72,000 with more coming. what part of "SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW" does obama not understand? if he honestly thinks that the bill the house will vote on this week is the answer to americas cry for help, we are doomed even beyond my dire predictions.
i know obama & his crew wanted to grab the bull by its horns but, they can't even find the bull. &, i can see why obama wanted to rush timothy geithner in as sec of the treasury---one crook helping another. when you read the bill & see how much money geithner will have control of to allocate as he deems necessary, you'll understand it to.
obama, i shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job but, somebody has to & that crew you have surrounding you is worthless...
if you were a man of action this is what you would do for the american people...
1...go to the house, tell them the federal government will help big businesses
2...tell them you need a bill that will freeze the big companies assets & those of their managers &
make it retro-active for three years
3...tell them that those companies have 120 days to show evidence of turning their problems
around
4...tell them those companies will freeze hirings & firings until futher notice
5...tell them that if the companies fail to comply, the federal government will take over on a
temporary basis
6...tell them that after the feds take over, there will be a penalty to be paid to the feds by the
management which will include the frozen assets & jail time---healthy jail time of not less
then three years
7...tell them that after the feds take over, the company will be auctioned off to the highest,
responsible bidder
8...tell them that those managers will not be permitted to be rehired in their present capacity
by any other company for five years
9...tell them the companies would have to pay the feds the top dollar during the take over
walk your butt into the senate & repeat the whole thing again...
obama, this has to be done before the public can know about it because some of the management of some of these companies would sell off their stocks & assets to others so as to have them when they got out of jail.
somewhere along the route you would have to make a determination as to who is big business---very few companies with only 25 or less employees, make millions every year so, this would have to based on companies with employees in the hundreds.
obama, there are those that say the feds don't belong in private business &, for the most part, i strongly agree but, these are not normal times &, they call for not normal actions. if sears & the rest of the companies their size, said the hell with it & started downsizing, where would we be &, more importantly, what would your recovery package mean then?
but, i really should be addressing this to nancy pelosi because you don't have the balls for it & hers are much bigger then yours...it's a fact. without her there, you can't even scratch your head.
the democrats can jump up & down all they want telling us what a gift to us they are but, this bill really sucks. it does extremely little for us...&, that's the bottom line. america needs help now & this bill does not provide it.
in my post yesterday, i finished with about 56,000 people losing their jobs. i wake up today & the figure is around 72,000 with more coming. what part of "SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW" does obama not understand? if he honestly thinks that the bill the house will vote on this week is the answer to americas cry for help, we are doomed even beyond my dire predictions.
i know obama & his crew wanted to grab the bull by its horns but, they can't even find the bull. &, i can see why obama wanted to rush timothy geithner in as sec of the treasury---one crook helping another. when you read the bill & see how much money geithner will have control of to allocate as he deems necessary, you'll understand it to.
obama, i shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job but, somebody has to & that crew you have surrounding you is worthless...
if you were a man of action this is what you would do for the american people...
1...go to the house, tell them the federal government will help big businesses
2...tell them you need a bill that will freeze the big companies assets & those of their managers &
make it retro-active for three years
3...tell them that those companies have 120 days to show evidence of turning their problems
around
4...tell them those companies will freeze hirings & firings until futher notice
5...tell them that if the companies fail to comply, the federal government will take over on a
temporary basis
6...tell them that after the feds take over, there will be a penalty to be paid to the feds by the
management which will include the frozen assets & jail time---healthy jail time of not less
then three years
7...tell them that after the feds take over, the company will be auctioned off to the highest,
responsible bidder
8...tell them that those managers will not be permitted to be rehired in their present capacity
by any other company for five years
9...tell them the companies would have to pay the feds the top dollar during the take over
walk your butt into the senate & repeat the whole thing again...
