hello america!!! obama can say what he wishes to &, some of his party will echo whatever he says, however, the problems with the veterans affairs have been ongoing for far too long &, the really sorry part about it all is, obama knew it back in 2008/2009 &, he even gave a speech...CLICK HERE &, go down to the 43rd paragraph &, remember, this was way back there aug 17, 2009.........

instead of telling the west point cadets that he's setting up a counter-terrorism partnership to the tune of $5 billion, he should have spent that time apologizing to them & everybody else that ever served our country for failing them by not ensuring they had 'prompt', 'state-of-the-art' healthcare when they needed it...in addition to that, he should have publicly asked for the resignation of va secretary, (eric shinseki) effective immediately but, that seems to be below him....

read this & you'll know that those va rumors are very real...VA's IG REPORT &, as a veteran, it sucks. it is not a dem or repub problem, it is an american problem & needs to be corrected immediately, regardless of the spin or mid-term elections.........

read this...obamas transcript ...&, please tell me, what in the hell does it have to do with the va problems...he's talking to our future armed forces officers & he can't even tell them that he's going to devote his full attention to fixing the va problems...the flip-side of this is, if these future officer's perform their duties similar to the manner obama is treating the va problems, they'll be court marshaled for neglect of duty...........

hello america!!! i've said it from day one &, i'll continue to say it---obama & company lie to you every chance they get...can you remember obama & company telling you that the repubs are the ones holding back our job growth??? they painted this awful picture of the repubs thumbing their noses at america, however, the last time i checked, our house of reps was controlled by the repubs & they passed these jobs-related bills that just sit at the dem controlled senate---JOBS TRACKER...........

while i'm positive that not every one of those bills will lead to a major influx of hiring, some of those bills will...but, so much for that because you were also told that the repub controlled house of reps was a 'do nothing' body of congress so, i'm struggling to explain this...CLICK HERE.........

if i told you that that 'do nothing' body of congress (22 may 2014) passed a bill called the VA MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTABLE ACT by a vote of 390-33 (the 33 against it were all dems, however, 162 of them voted for it) & sent it to the senate, could you possibly guess what happened??? the following is must read/must see...CLICK HERE......i don't make this stuff up, however, somebody will come along & end up blaming the repubs for the bills failure to get through the senate & onto obamas desk.......

in proving how much obama & company lie, remember the dec 2010 senate dream act vote??? we were told that the repubs were responsible for its failure to proceed---there's this...ABC LIED...&, who can forget obama in the rose garden (for cinco de mayo) blaming the repubs for the bill's failure to proceed &, he knew then that he was lying...check out the 4:20 mark of this video...HERE...the bill needed 60 votes to pass but, the vote was 55 yea's; 41 nay's; with 4 not voting---in truth, had the bill garnered the five votes needed, it would have passed---here's the kicker...3 repubs voted for the bill while 5 dems voted against it (baucus, hagen, nelson, pryor &, tester)---instead of just saying that they didn't have enough votes to pass the bill or, that 5 dems sank the bill, obama & company deliberately lied & blamed the repubs---here's the actual vote...HERE...........

pelosi is not to be trusted---she has proved that beyond any doubt...in the five plus years that obama & company have had to get the va right, they have failed & yet, they'll always look to blame others for their incompetence...it's to my understanding that the 'wait time' for our vets to be seen has increased since the days of pres bush &, i'm working on getting the numbers...

pelosi needs to remember what she said way back there in 2006...HERE...& yes, i hope the american people will drain the swamp....

one question i have for pelosi is, with all the house of reps jobs related bills (SEE HERE) just sitting at the senate, how come she doesn't make any noise to get them acted on???

hello america!!! first of all, i strongly believe that positive 'change' is good!!! that said, one doesn't know exactly how their efforts to effect change will play out, however, when one sees the negativity their efforts are producing, one should go back to the drawing board & rethink their strategy........

who among you (as a country) can say we are better off now than we were before obama & company??? who among you (as people of color) can say we are better off now than before obama & company??? who among you (as impecunious people) can say we are better off now than before obama & company??? & yes, some of you may be better off but, far too many of you are not & that is the TRUTH.......

we were promised jobs by obama & company & yet, they are the ones holding the jobs back (&, they lie about it)...i don't make this stuff up so, read it HERE------then ask obama & company why...if you're just half as smart as i credit you to be, you have to know that those bills will continue to sit there because, GOD forbid, should they pass them & some of them actually lead to employment growth, that would dispel all the comments they've made claiming the repubs are the ones hurting the jobs market.........plus, you also have to weigh in additional taxes, regulations &, obamacare which all lead to employer uncertainty...30 hour work-weeks are becoming the new norm.............

obama said 'middle-class' is a state of mind----i can only assume that if you are fortunate enough to be making $30,000 per year & you're actually struggling, your struggles are all mental...for somebody that promised to strengthen the middle-class, obama & company are extremely dismissive about the realities of their pain------for those at the lower end of the spectrum, obama & company never even mention you.....

be real with yourselves---while there are those that actually have to depend on food stamps & public welfare, there are far too many that abuse the system......hey look, i won't support anybody that would rather enroll me in gov't hand-outs then open up the opportunities for employment.........PERIOD!!!

nor will i ever support anybody that's against 'mandating' gov't issued id's for ALL people within our borders...obama & company say that 'forcing' some people to obtain a gov't issued id would create undue hardships on them & yet, they haven't even talked about introducing any form of a plan as a remedy...what can you 'legally' do in america without valid gov't issued id??? maybe i'm crazy but, look at the id requirements for THIS---from my view, those not in favor of 'mandating' gov't issued id's are also in favor of enabling those without them to continue to live in poverty...........

We will fulfill our responsibility to our veterans as they return to civilian life. I was proud to co-sponsor the Post-9/11 GI Bill as a senator. And thanks to VFW members across the country -- and leaders like Arizona's Harry Mitchell in Congress -- it is now the law of the land. (Applause.) And as President, I'm committed to seeing that it is successfully implemented.

We're dramatically increasing funding for veterans health care. We're restoring access to VA health care for a half-million veterans who lost their eligibility in recent years -- our Priority 8 veterans.

And since there's been so much misinformation out there about health insurance reform, let me say this: One thing that reform won't change is veterans' health care. No one is going to take away your benefits -- that is the plain and simple truth. (Applause.) We're expanding access to your health care, not reducing it. (Applause.)

We're also keeping our promise on concurrent receipt. My budget ensures that our severely disabled veterans will receive both their military retired pay and their VA disability benefits. (Applause.) And I look forward to signing legislation on advanced appropriations for the VA so the medical care you need is never held up by budget delays. (Applause.)

I've also directed Secretary Shinseki to focus on a top priority -- reducing homelessness among veterans. (Applause.) After serving their country, no veteran should be sleeping on the streets. (Applause.) No veteran. We should have zero tolerance for that.

And we're keeping our promise to fulfill another top priority at the VA -- cutting the red tape and inefficiencies that cause backlogs and delays in the claims process. (Applause.) This spring, I directed the Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs to create one unified lifetime electronic health record for the members of the armed forces -- a single electronic record, with privacy guaranteed, that will stay with them forever. Because after fighting for America, you should not have to fight over paperwork to receive the benefits that you've earned. (Applause.)

Today, I can announce that we're taking another step. I've directed my Chief Performance Officer, my Chief Technology Officer and my Chief Information Officer to join with Secretary Shinseki in a new reform effort. We're launching a new competition to capture the very best ideas of our VA employees who work with you every day.

We're going to challenge each of our 57 regional VA offices to come up with the best ways of doing business, of harnessing the best information technologies, of cutting red tape and breaking through the bureaucracy. And then we're going to fund the best ideas and put them into action, all with a simple mission: cut those backlogs, slash those wait times, deliver your benefits sooner. (Applause.) I know you've heard this for years, but the leadership and resources we're providing this time means that we're going to be able to do it. That is our mission, and we are going to make it happen. (Applause.)

Now, taken together, these investments represent a historic increase in our commitment to America's veterans -- a 15 percent increase over last year's funding levels and the largest increase in the VA budget in more than 30 years. And over the next five years we'll invest another $25 billion to make sure that our veterans are getting what they need.

These are major investments, and these are difficult times. Fiscal discipline demands that we make hard decisions -- sacrificing certain things we can't afford. But let me be clear. America's commitment to its veterans are not just lines on a budget. They are bonds that are sacred -- a sacred trust we're honor bound to uphold.

of course, the repubs are the ones responsible for keeping job growth down & yet, take a good, long look at this HOUSE PASSED JOBS BILLS---why hasn't obama & company done anything other then let these bills just sit there???

now, either obama & company are too dumb to know that the above bills passed through the house of reps or, they are straight out lying to you...take your pick!!!

hello america!!! the monthly jobs report was just released by the bureau of labor statistics &, the national unemployment rate dropped down to 6.3% from 6.7%--------you just have to happy with that!!! us obama-bashers/haters should be down on our knees bowing to him because his american economic policies are finally working--------BULLSHIT!!! you people are so fickle & quick to grasp at anything positive that is even remotely connected to obama & company............let's keep it real---

employers hired 288,000 people in april & everybody that voted for obama & company is running around yelling, 'i told you so-he just needed more time'.........5 years plus & 288,000 new jobs later we have very big employment problems that you guys are ignoring....for instance::::

during the same month of april, we also had this:::::::::::
week ending 4/5/14, 300,000 new jobless claims
week ending 4/12/14, 305,000 new jobless claims
week ending 4/19/14, 330,000 new jobless claims
week ending 4/26/14, 344,000 new jobless claims
meaning---we added 1,279,000 new people to the unemployment lines---how in the hell can you 'spin' that to a 'positive'??????????

our economy sucks...for the first quarter, we grew at an astounding 0.1% &, healthcare costs are rising as is everything else in our country----in truth, obama & company have failed us &, if you ask them about it, their answer will remain the same---it's pres bush's & the repubs fault...
