the new jobless claims for the week ending 16 feb is 362,000---for the week ending 9 feb, the number is 342,000---for the week ending 2 feb, the number is 368,000---for the week ending 25 jan, the number is 362,000..................good people, THAT'S 1,434,000 NEW JOBLESS CLAIMS IN A 4 WEEK PERIOD &, what makes those numbers so devastating is: there isn't any 'good news' regarding future job openings.
for you mentally challenged people, i lump gov't spending & jobs together because they are 'LEGALLY MARRIED'...those 1,434,000 are no longer having TAXES withdrawn from their paychecks so, the gov'ts ability to collect REVENUE from them is cut off. add the fact that they become less 'SPEND FRIENDLY' & the effects are multiplied...businesses don't get as much of their money as before so, they also pay less taxes, cut hours &/or add people to the unemployed numbers. no matter how you slice it, our gov't is the 'BIGGEST LOSER' when people are unemployed. less jobs equals less gov't collected revenue.
the problem we have here is: our gov't knows they're taking in less but, for whatever reason, they refuse to conform to that loss of money. they not only continue to spend what they don't 'physically' have on hand, they continue to 'borrow' to offset their 'so-called needs'.

hello america!!! this 'sequestration crap' is obamas brain-storm &, for him to blame the repubs is just plain wrong. if he were as financially serious as he would like you think he is, he would have acted on his own simpson-bowles commissions recommendations back in 2010 or, he would have acted on the recommendations of the 2011 'supercommittee'...hell, he could have even used his own 'talking point' of 'getting rid of the programs that don't work' starting in 2009. instead, he's done nothing but 'spend' & talked about the repubs. oh yeah, he raised taxes on the rich & now, wants to raise them again.

if we were to tax the rich at 100%, we still could not raise enough revenue to off-set our spending &, anybody telling you differently is a liar. obama got his wish when we raised taxes on the rich but, as we knew then, it is not even a dent in what we need. so, obama says, 'the hell with it...just make the rich pay more & leave the spending to me'.
if you run your household & are paying out more than you're bringing in, i can tell you now that you're 'borrowing' to make ends meet. some of you have 2nd jobs & still can't tread water....when do you start 'cutting'? at some point, those weekly movie trips & party's have to stop; the premium channels for your cable have to be suspended; all those extra cell phone lines for your household members have to be let go of; that 2nd or 3rd car has to be returned; hell, you might even have gotten in debt so bad that you're now living elsewhere..............

PROMISES, PROMISES & MORE PROMISES!!!
hello america!!! our nations 3 biggest problems are: 1. gov't spending; 2. lack of jobs; 3. division...now, we can all jump on the 'it's pres bush's fault' bandwagon however, when you move into a new house & you have a broken window, don't you fix it? or, do you just go around blaming the previous tenant while breaking even more. come on people, keep it real. our country is just like that broken window & obamas not fixing it. he's content to blame pres bush & the repubs for all that ails us &, you & the media don't even challenge him to try & do better.

here's another one: obama only counts jobs growth after the recession. jobs growth & jobs loss should be counted from day---you & the media won't give pres bush 15 free months, why does obama get it? i mean, i know the answer but, it's fudging numbers. it's easy to tell people that 5.5 million jobs have been created since the recession &, you all go crazy with joy thinking that obamas on the ball when it comes to jobs. on the other hand, between obamas 1st being elected & the end of the recession, 4.3 million jobs were lost &, i don't give two craps how you feel about it, it happened on his watch. you do the math for the whole 48 months & you end up with a net gain of a dismal 1.2 million jobs. hell, we're losing a million plus jobs a month---i triple dog dare you to check the bureau of labor statistics on our jobless claims---on 14 feb13, they reported 341,000 new jobless claims for the prior week...&, we've been in that 300,000 plus range for far too long. while a lot of factors may go into why we are doing so poorly in jobs growth, obama has not done anything positive to stimulate the market to include rejecting his own hand-picked jobs councils recommendations. &, while he has been ever so loud to blame the repubs for our jobs problems, not once did you ever hear him mention anything about those 30 plus, house passed, jobs related bills just sitting in the senate... obama should be honest & say, hey, we've created 5.5 million jobs but, we lost 4.3 million---&, you & the media, should hold him accountable.

hello america!!! the following two articles should show you just how much obama & company continue to lie to you. the first one is rep nancy pelosi saying we don't have a 'spending problem'...http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/02/11/pelosi-false-argument-to-say-washington-has-spending-problem/ she seems to ignore the fact that our spending is totally out of control. she seems to ignore the fact that all this 'fair share crap' & 'raising taxes on the rich' was supposed to generate more revenue to off-set our spending. she seems to have ignored the fact that she called for one trillion dollars more in raising more taxes. she seems to ignore the fact that our 'fiscal cliff' problems all stem from spending. hey, let's keep it real...if you're the bread-winner for your household & you can pay all your bills on time & have something left over to save or splurge with, you don't go out & get a 2nd job; you don't cut off the kids allowance; you don't sell your 2nd car; you don't cancel your cable subscription. on the other hand, if your bills can't be paid on time & you can't borrow anymore, you do. i can only think that obama & company were absent from school when they were teaching 'real math 101'. & hell, in terms of being 'street-smart' they are 'street-dumb'. who doesn't know that when you're bringing home less then your paying out, you have a big problem??? in real life, you either get another job &/or you cut your spending. oh, & if things are really going bad for you, do you continue to 'LIE' to your children about how well things are going & yet, not explain to them why you can't afford to pay for their cell phone usage?

A FOLLOW UP!!!
hello america!!! this is an update to yesterdays post "JUST WHAT IS GUN CONTROL"...the senseless killings at sandy hook sparked a political showdown over 'gun control' led by obama & yet, there is no outcry for the following...http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=8964090...this happens a lot more often then we even care to think about or talk about. &, don't forget, there's the 'shaking the baby syndrome' that leads to death.
while there are laws on the books for all homicides, they are not enough to stop them. yeah, i know, i'm stupid but hey, who in america doesn't know about 'DUI's' & yet, almost every day, we see them in the news. hell, i've been guilty of driving drunk however, i was fortunate enough not to have been caught & i didn't run into anything or anyone (THANK YOU GOD)...
there is no answer to preventing someone from taking another persons life---at best, we have to change the 'thinking' of those we can identify as 'possible killers' & man, that's almost an impossible task because you'd have to know the breaking point of everyone. let's be real, not all homicides are planned. we go to clubs to have a good time & yet, if somebody grabs your girls breast, you get in a beef---all it takes is for you to push the other person; they hit their head on a concrete floor & like magic, you're arrested for homicide. while you're 'manning up' for your girl, the DA is going to be telling the jury that you should have walked away.
to 'politicize' gun control because of sandy hook is just a talking point &, more so when you have no plans to actually minimize deaths by bullets. on the other hand, just look at all the deaths caused by cars---we want them safer, we want them faster, we want them with all the bells & whistles & yet, we knowingly drive them too fast, lose control & cause an accident to property or life.
let's just say obama was successful in getting everybody to surrender their guns; i'd bet knives would be next on the list, then he'd have to go after 2x4's & baseball bats.
being realistic, i look at all the money & manpower used in the war on drugs & we all know there isn't a section of america that we can't find somebody willing to sell drugs.

JUST WHAT IS GUN CONTROL???
hello america!!! can anybody tell me how the following will stop or even slow down gun violence???
1....remove (&/or hinder buying) assault type weapons from the lawful
2....severely scrutinize those applying to purchase guns legally
3....restrict the number of rounds in a magazine to 7
4....enter all those 'deemed' to be having a 'mental problem' in a national database & deny them gun access
5....ban all citizens from legally carrying a gun on their person
6....limit the number of ammunition one can purchase at one time
7....ban all those with a criminal record from legally purchasing a gun
8....add more mandatory prison time to those convicted of illegally having or, illegally using a gun
9....restrict the number of guns one can legally own
10..ban the sale of guns at gun shows
11..mandate that all gun owners surrender their guns
we all know that something must be done to halt all of the senseless killings but, what will any of the above do to keep those hellbent on 'taking a life' from doing so? what impact would any of the above have on the following (&, this is in my neck of the woods)........

2....severely scrutinize those applying to purchase guns legally
3....restrict the number of rounds in a magazine to 7
4....enter all those 'deemed' to be having a 'mental problem' in a national database & deny them gun access
5....ban all citizens from legally carrying a gun on their person
6....limit the number of ammunition one can purchase at one time
7....ban all those with a criminal record from legally purchasing a gun
8....add more mandatory prison time to those convicted of illegally having or, illegally using a gun
9....restrict the number of guns one can legally own
10..ban the sale of guns at gun shows
11..mandate that all gun owners surrender their guns

obama talks about 'washington dysfunction' however, does he forget that in his first 4 years, he did everything but focus on our economy & jobs...he wants the boy scouts to allow 'gays' in &, is on record for saying if he had a son, he wouldn't want him playing football & yet, he'd readily send females into combat (does that include the front lines?)...he wants 'smart cuts' in spending---okay, in the prior 48 months, exactly what cuts has he been able to accomplish?...he proposes 'closing tax loopholes' but doesn't say which ones & yet, isn't this the same person that has created his own his own 'tax loopholes?'...
i keep telling you, i don't make this stuff up...judge obama by his actions, not his words.....he got his tax raise on the rich & now says the gov't needs more. you were told (during the campaigning) that raising taxes on the rich would not even put a dent on what we actually need & obama & company told you the exact opposite &, here we are, needing lots more....
