&, bear in mind, obama is trying to give you a $7,500. tax credit for buying a new gm chevy volt. two things strike me here::::::1.this is the unionized company obama bailed out & 2.the tax credit is the very same thing he wants abolish----yeah, figure that one out. he wants congress to close all these loopholes & yet, he's promoting them. which is it???

as for the video stating the amount of jobs saved, if you care to remember, they credited zip codes & districts that never existed with saving/creating jobs so, i know their figures are off. they are constantly 'adjusting' them & it really is hard to put my full trust in them. however, other then the labor department, i don't know who else gets employment/unemployment reported to them so, i'm stuck with their figures &, just for that, take a look at this....

good people, no matter how you slice it, we have a very serious employment/unemployment problem...you can say what you wish about obama however, he was hired to fix the economy & he has failed to do so...what's sad about this whole thing is, there are blacks (14% unemployed) & latinos (10.3%) that support obama simply because of his color instead of questioning him on why this is & what is he doing to correct it. they voted for him because of 'change' & i would like to know what he has done to 'change' their life.

on the other hand, if they're happy with food stamps & welfare, then, so-be-it...says a lot about expectations for upcoming generations of people of color. people of color were hit very hard by our economic fall & if they can't get jobs now, obama has not shown them anything that should inspire a lot of hope for tomorrow. besides, the true unemployment rate will ever be known but, for blacks it's probably hovering around 16-18%, for latinos, at 12-14%, for whites, at 10-12%.

i personally know of some blacks, latinos, & whites that can work & don't even bother looking. they are content to stay on section 8, receive food stamps, medical & welfare money & the saddest part of it all is, our government isn't requiring them to do anything but collect. so yeah, i can see these people supporting obama.

on the opposite end of the spectrum, i know some pretty hard working people of color that don't want 'hand outs'. they have 'earned' everything they have & strive for more. they are examples of people following the american dream.

by the way, just so you know, the national unemployment rate is presently at 8.2%.

&, people of color, don't forget to go out there & purchase that new chevy volt ($40,000-$50,000) so you can take advantage of obamas $7,500 tax credit---worry about the rent & other bills later>>>>>>

hello america!!! i saw a young, black lady defending obama on foxnews this morning & it bothered me to the point that i responded to her through her facebook page. the gist of the debate on foxnews was her defending obamas foreign policy (whatever it might be) against romneys not having one. well, that's all good however, when it was mentioned that this takes the spotlight off of our present economic problems the lady's response went right back to the foreign policy issue.

i find the above very pathetic. how can you defend obama on foreign policy when know one knows exactly what it is, to include obama. the following is what i posted on her page...........

hello young lady. after watching you on foxnews this morning, i find it hard to believe that you support obama. exactly what has he done for the good of this country? as for his 'foreign policy', i personally do not know any 2 democrats that know what it is. i am glad bin laden is gone but, other then that, it's all up in the air. he has made no headway with china or russia, north korea & iran laugh at us, iraq & afghanistan are far from being won, syria doesn't listen to us, pakistan is not our friend, isreal has been thrown to the dogs, canada has been blown off, brazille has been promised our dollars for their oil, we've lost the credibility for the race in space, & finally, we are accepting more terms from those outside our borders then in dictating them...i don't expect you understand this but, as a vet, when i see the leader of my country actually bow to a foreign dignitary, i know we are in trouble. in case you didn't or don't know, our nukes are what has kept us safe & when we lose that edge, we lose america!!! so please, when you have the time, educate me on exactly what is obamas foreign policy...because i'm sure it fits somewhere between, obamas not liking torture & yet, approving murder...thank you & have a great day!!!!


the young lady (unwittingly i hope) is a prime example of most of today's obama supporters---they have no debates or discussions for what he was originally hired to do which, as we all remember, was to fix the economy...well, it isn't fixed &, judging from what obama has not done, he couldn't fix it if he were granted 4 more years. &, good people, the above is what obama, the dems & his supporters are trying to do---TAKE THE FOCUS OFF OF OBAMAS FAILED ECONOMIC POLICY'S & PUT IT ON ANYTHING ELSE.

hello america!!! if i had to choose between obama & gov mitt romney to fight next to me, i would, & will, choose mitt every time. obama is a not the man a lot of you think he is &, all you have to do is look at what he says one day & watch what he does afterward.

latest case-in-point is the dem ad in regards to obama giving the okay to kill bin laden. if obama supports this, then he's a bigger punk then i first thought. after all, obama said we shouldn't be grandstanding or doing end zone dances.

good people, before i continue, i need somebody, & i don't care who it is, to tell me exactly which 'policy' obama actually put in place to allow our special forces to kill bin laden or, are they going to tell me that bin ladens death can be directly attributed to the policy's of pres bush? &, don't worry, i have plenty of time to await your answer &, don't forget to pack a lunch & stay hydrated while you search....

while i am glad that bin laden is gone, i can't boast about it, i can't grandstand about it, i can't do end zone dances about it &, i can't even see the pictures of his death........so why would obama allow/approve/accept an ad placing all the glory squarely on his own shoulders?

this is why we have 'grid-lock' in washington. obama is so quick to jump on the 'good' things that come out of congress & then vilify them when they can't agree on something...he wants 'everything' to go his way & yet, he can't even get his own party to get on board with everything he wants.

&, if i'm not mistaken, obamas going to sit down with msnbc (what a surprise) next week to discuss the bin laden raid. talk about patting your own back!!!

america, the msnbc thing is smoke-screen. obama can sit down & discuss bin laden but, the discussion most americans want him to have is concerning the economy &, more specifically, a discussion on where are the jobs...

one doesn't have to attend a 'so-called-top-notch' college to know that this country is really struggling. (by the way, if harvard really thinks that obama is the best thing they ever produced, we need to rethink how we grade colleges) the federal government is out of control & out of touch. it doesn't care what we think or how we feel---it lives for itself...&, the so-called man at the top of it is so busy telling you he deserves another four years & yet, he can't tell you why.

obama was 'hired' to fix the economy that he had a direct hand in collapsing long before pres bush was elected (i triple dog dare you to ask me for proof) &, he has failed miserably. this was the man that promised you 'change'; he had all of those slick answers to help us in our time of need; he was the most capable of all the candidates; he hired the best of the best to surround himself with while they figured how to get us out of this mess he 'supposedly' inherited.

so, why are we worse off now then prior to obama being elected? his stimulus was supposed to start working immediately; obamacare was supposed to help us immediately; cash-4-clunkers was supposed to help us immediately; the housing market bailout was supposed to help us immediately; the first time home owners tax credit was supposed to help us immediately; the auto bailout was supposed to help us immediately; the bank bailout was supposed to help us immediately; financial loans to 'green' company's was supposed to help us immediately---THEY ALL FAILED...& the best he can respond with is: i guess those shovel ready jobs weren't so shovel ready, the economy was worse off then we thought, pull your bootstraps up, quit your complaining & keep on marching, tighten your belts...these were his responses to his failures. &, through it all, he blamed pres bush & everything else...

if this is the kind of leader that america needs/wants, then this country is in a very unsafe place within herself. i want a leader that will tell me the truth...hey knowitall, i tried the stimulus & it didn't work so i'm going to try this...obama won't even do this...he does not acknowledge his failures...

obama is running around the country asking for 4 more years....1st, i need to know what he's done to deserve 4 more years & 2nd, i haven't heard him put forth any plans for how he will get us out of this mess.

what's sad is, there are those of you that see no fault with obama so, allow me to ask you this:::what has he done to make your life, your family's life, your friends life &, american life better? oh, that's right, he gave you food stamps & extended unemployment benefits...(by the way, those in pennsylvania on food stamps should be getting a letter telling you what the new asset limits are)....

the above is a prime example of obama distorting the facts...however, the damage is done. he has you all believing that buffet paid less tax then his secretary...ask buffet to add up all the tax he paid the irs for last year & then ask him to make the comparison to his secretary again.

buffet doesn't work a 9 to 5 like his secretary however, if he did, he would be taxed even more.

According to recent Harris poll, only three in 10 said they plan to take a vacation lasting longer than a week in the next six months, and that number has been dropping during the recession as people worry about the costs of vacations. if it's just about college loan interest rates, the solution is easy::::freeze them at a fair level for a definite period of time. yes, those that granted the loan will be upset but, getting something back has to be better then getting nothing at all.

on the other hand, if these kids are biting off more then they can chew, then that's on them. i do not want to pay one penny to help them. if they're signing the loan papers without any legal advice, they don't need to be in college period. &, simply because one attends harvard to study law does not mean they will become a lawyer or even work in the law field.

the problems aren't the loans or the interest on them---it's the cost of the schools themselves. as a leader, obama should be trying to work with the dems & the repubs to bring the costs down instead of vilifying them. his rhetoric is all about the wall street 'fat cats' & 'fairness' but, i guess that doesn't include 'higher education' & their unobstructive path to charge whatever they wish to.

obama, all you have to do is bring the costs of attending colleges down & ensure that the kids have some one to inform them of what they are signing prior to their signing it---& let the chips fall where they may.

on the other hand, you don't have the fortitude to battle with the colleges; you'd rather blame others & kick the can down the road. in fact, you'd rather take from one group of people & give to another---what's fair about that?

hello america!!! part 1 took you through my 1st 13 years of life...this is part 2::::::::::::

i don't remember the month but, shortly after turning 13, i stood before a judge (with my dear father & a lawyer) who told me i was a juvenile delinquent & placed me in the george jr republic (freeville, ny) which was/is a co-ed place for wayward children. this is a place that is run just like the good ole usa except it's run by the kids & this is where my interests in politics took hold<><>actually, i was more involved with breaking the rules then following them...looking back at it, the system was set up just like our government is today...you could vote for the president on down; we had our kid police, etc & we had to work to earn money in order to buy what we needed from the campus store...well, that was okay with me because many of you have heard my motto:::if i didn't have enough, then you had too much (by the way, that's what got me there in the 1st place) & i didn't mind taking yours. the house-parents oversaw everything &, they were pretty cool. the whole thing was really good & little did i know then that a lot of what i learned about politics would come from there.

i used to 'runaway' a lot & go home only to be picked up & returned &, i don't know when i was officially released from there but at 16/17 years old, i was serving a 4 year sentence in sing sing prison thanks to my good ole motto which never failed me---kept my life adventurous---my father had remarried & moved to brooklyn ny (we still have the house)...got paroled after a year & some change, said the hell with it & ended up in baltimore, md (all i remember is drinking that gypsy rose & smoking that cali red, stole a bike & came to my senses in b-more. got a job at the k-o gas station on fayette & caroline, did something stupid (my motto again), got caught but got away with it but ny had a warrant out on me & they came & got me & i ended up in comstock (great meadows correctional facility in upper ny) which is a maximum security prison. after some time, i was reparoled to nyc & somehow (purely accidental) stayed out of trouble long enough to finish my parole------&, it really felt good to be off paper.

for the next several years, my job was playing handball & yes, don't mind telling you that i was very good. myself, connie, ace & monk had a circuit & we would go to all the parks & play for money. we ruled lincoln terrace park for years. actually, i met my 1st & only wife (even though we are divorced) &, she was also pretty good at handball. somehow i proposed to her in st john's park & joined the army in july 1974 & we got married in dec 1974....

OBAMA, SO YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX OUR PROBLEM!!!

hello america!!! i am not going to post numbers or links to this writing. however, i am going to appeal to your common sense, math skills &, loyalty to this great nation....

simply put, our 'entitlements programs' have to be overhauled. there's no getting around it &, the overhauling has been put off for far to long. obama even said it has to be addressed but, where's his plan? the dems run from the subject. the repubs have put forth several plans & got shot down as if they were doing the devil's work. that being said, regardless of who presents a plan to overhaul these programs, you can count on there being plenty of opposition.

america, people are living longer & retiring earlier &, they are collecting their social security benefits (i am a prime example---i filed 3 months before i was to become 62). then you have medicaid & medicare providing the healthcare they need.

with the federal government getting less in taxes because of the jobs situation & the programs having to pay out more-----------something is going to have to be done now or, the next generation will just have to keep on working until they become disabled or die. this is not 'scare tactics'---this is the cold hard facts that the so-called leader of this country doesn't want to share with you. obama won't tell you that if nothing is done to even try to preserve the programs, they will simply pay out until they no longer can &, the dates for that continue to move closer to now rather then the later.

common sense says, if you've been giving your kids an allowance & suddenly you find your hours cut or you lose that job, the allowance will either be diminished or stopped. those things that you wanted to do to your home will be put on the back burner & you'll only do the repairs that are absolutely necessary. however, i know there's somebody out there that will tell me that they are still going to add that extension to the house regardless of the finances.........good people, you know what i'm talking about &, you know i'm right. you also have to bear in mind that gas has gone up, food prices are up, essentials have gone up &, your utility bills have probably gone up..........

our federal government is not managing their fiscal responsibilities as they would if it were their home involved. they are taking in less money &, in spite of this, they want to spend even more. the credit card is already maxed out & they continue to want to borrow more money thus diving deeper into debt. & then, when a credit rating agency comes along & lowers their credit rating, they rant & rave & blame others for their own lack of common sense. they just don't get it! &, what bothers me the most is, when our officials have the opportunity to bring in fresh money, they oppose it.

social security is going to have to boost the ages up to about 69/70 before people can collect or, taxes will have to raised on everybody to some ungodly amount that nobody will like. the other choices will be to severely downsize the federal government or do away with certain agency's. then you have a possibility where you might be able to put your taxes for social security in a private account where the individual controls it---screw it up & you get nothing/allow it to blossom & reap the rewards during your later years.

common sense says you can't raise taxes at this time because the people that are running the show don't have a clue as to what they are doing. yes, it's great that obama wants to open up our markets to those outside our borders but, what good does that do when you can't even afford to buy some of the 'goods' that you really need?

america, we are at the crossroads---obama has been in office for 3 1/2 years & you can't help but see where this country is. you know of family & friends that have lost jobs & all obama wants to do is get them enrolled in his obamacare & give them food stamps::::these are facts...he doesn't want to get you a job unless it's a government job &, his 'stupid' regulations' prove me right.

it seems to me that when americans need help & leadership the most, the so-called leader (obama) is running around the country trying to drum up support for another 4 years...this by itself isn't a bad thing but what is a bad thing is, i ask, what has he done in the 3 1/2 years he has had to improve the quality of life for all americans??? &, don't worry, i'm not going to push you for an answer you never will be able to provide...

OBAMA, IF YOU HAD OF DONE JUST A 1/4 OF THE THINGS YOU PROMISED, I WOULD GIVE YOU MY VOTE OVER ROMNEY, & YES, I AM A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN.

i was born in 1949, in yonkers ny & lived at 8 ravine ave. i attended ps #6, longfellow jr hs &, charles e gorton hs. i have an older brother (deceased), an older sister (deceased) &, a younger brother. my dear mother was a stay-at-home mom who battled bone cancer for many years & eventually succumbed to it. my father (deceased) worked for the postal service & as a bonded courier for chase manhattan bank &, in his spare time, he taught piano lessons. my mother was often bed-ridden & she had her own hospital bed at home. we owned the house, had plenty of room &, every summer, we'd jump in the car & my dad would take us to playland in rye ny. we were always visiting family or friends, regardless of my mothers condition or, they would visit us....i was the wayward one---always in trouble or causing trouble---the police & courts systems knew me very well. the whole neighborhood knew me...&, i could fight & did. i thought i was born for adventure & following the rules was far from adventurous. us kids had chores which had to done, we ate at a dinner table as a family, we prayed & we attended sunday school & church. were we well off??? not by a long shot but, we had everything we needed. neighbors (regardless of color) looked after all the children...they didn't have to know you to put that "EAR LOCK" on you & make you take them to where you lived which was always followed with a beating. this was a time when the milkman left bottled milk on your porch; the breadman left bread & rolls in front of the stores; if you got sick, call your doctor & they came to your house & treated you. we had a black & white tv & would watch cowboys, ed sullivan ect. this was a time where we took care of one another...get sick tonight & neighbors showed up the next day with homemade soups, pies, cakes & breads. this was a time when the churches & schools would beat your ass when you acted up. this was a time of no drugs, no gangs no knives or guns...if we had a beef with someone, we settled it man-to-man. there were no drive-by's or child molestations or kidnappings...we followed adam clayton powell (1st black american  elected to congress); our school systems had plenty of money as did our city, county &, state; as did our country.oh, by the way, we had plenty of fun & no, girls weren't getting pregnant at 14/15 years old.

the above is just for my 1st 13 years......the rest comes later..........

here it is 63 short years later & things have changed drastically for the worse. so, yes, i have reason to gripe. i do not like the direction we are presently heading & something has to be done to stop it. the leader is not leading & i hope & pray that he is not re-elected.

the school boards 1st reaction to the abuse was to fire the teacher however, they turned around & rehired her because she has 'tenure'.

hello america!!! up until now, when have you heard of obama talking about really helping college students like he is now? don't rush that answer to me, i (GOD willing) have plenty of time...

obama needs that 'youth' vote & he's going to try & convince college students he's all for them however, i ask those same students to look at his record in regards to them. let them look at the 1st 1/2 of his term & let them see that he had the power to do (unchallenged) what he is now proposing to do. let them see that he didn't 'freeze' (& could have) their student loans interest rates.

those same students voted for obama because of 'hope & change' & i want them to them to tell me where the 'hope' is & where the 'change' went...

&, i want them to look at a report by the associated press that says the unemployment/underemployment rate is at 53.6% for those 25 & under.

i need them to look into why gitmo isn't closed & we're still in iraq & afghanistan. plus, i want them to see that we may be quickly drawn into 'war' with syria, iran, north korea &, some of the african country's.

i need them to tell me what part of our economy obama has fixed. i want them to see which banks obama bailed out that are still not making loans & which homes are being saved.

college students, i can only assume you are more 'acceptable' to obamas plans for the 'greening' of america then the rest of america &, i have no problem with that...in the time obama has had, i need you to tell me which of his 'green' projects have succeeded.

obama wants to portray himself as someone that cares about college students & i counter that with this:::if college students are having a hard time paying their student loans, keeping their homes & finding & or keeping their jobs, how in the hell does he figure they can afford his pushing the chevy volt on them or that $50.00 lightbulb?

you may want to ask me what's wrong with unions & i'm here to tell you........they are assisting us in going broke &, they continue to want more without doing more.

teachers, policemen & firemen are all vital to this nation however, the teachers aren't teaching more or better, the police aren't policing more or better &, the firemen are still putting out the same old fires. i have the utmost respect for all three of these professions however, when i look at the benefits they receive at our expense, i get this queasy feeling that all is not well with the world. their benefits packages are hurting every state in this country & that should set off warning bells to everybody. &, when states try to change their packages, look at how the unions oppose that action. who can forget the unions rising up in wisconsin or those 14 elected officials fleeing to another state to avoid having to vote on a bill? look at the uproar from the unions because boeing moved some of its work to 'work friendly' south carolina.

the unions that opposed the wisconsin challenge are so powefull that they caused the 'recall' of gov walker & don't forget the demonstrations they put on in the capitol building...

now, i'm sure that the union people protesting didn't come up with the idea to protest on their own...the order had to come from the top &, if you care to remember, many of those union workers protesting, called out 'sick' & got paid. try that at dominos or kfc & let me know how long it took them to suspend or fire you.

why can't a 'bad' teacher be fired without us having to 'buy out' hers or his contract? that is not fair to the rest of america....however, you can fire a burger king worker & that's all there is to it.

obama strongly & actively supports unions &, as quiet as it's being kept, most union workers are made up of government workers. &, look at how he continues to expand government.

in these dire economical times, unions are the last thing we need to help & yet, obama insists on helping the 'middle class' & guess what class most union workers fall in...take from the rich, give to the middle class & the hell with those really need all the help they can get.

one would think that obama would be reaching out to those living on or below the national poverty standards  by helping them to rise above their present status.

so, let me ask you this:::regardless of what side of the isle you're on, did the stimulus do what it was designed to do?

if you said yes, you never read the bill itself; well, it didn't work, isn't working now, & won't work in the future. for one thing, there's still stimulus money in the account. let me sum it up like this---if the stimulus worked, why did they then (& still are now) say it wasn't big enough? we did lose teachers, firemen, policemen & a lot of others after the passage of the stimulus bill. our unemployment rate shot up to 10% & is now at 8.2% & is threatening to go back up again. obama touted the stimulus as being able to keep the unemployment rate below 8%.

if you said yes, you're not keeping abreast of current events...people are still losing their jobs; people are still losing their homes; banks still aren't lending; those shovel ready jobs were never shovel ready; the amount of money obama sank in 'green' jobs has failed miserably;;;

you should already be aware of how he is trying to divide america...you see him doing it every day. he has waged 'class warfare' on the rich pitting them against the 'middle class'. those living below the 'middle class' simply do not exist---at least obama doesn't mention them. by the way, in case you don't know which class you're in, here's some help from wikipedia::::middle class america makes $25,000---$100,000 per year (others place it at $32,000---$100,000) so, if you're making north of $100,000, you're in the 'fat cats' range but, if you're south of $25,000, you're not worth obama opening his mouth about...however, he will gladly give you food stamps & medical coverage &, if you're content with that without higher aspirations, obamas your man. of course you don't have to believe me & yet, i know you know that obama is a very strong union labor supporter---just tell me which union jobs only pay $25,000 per year or less...the majority of union workers just happen to fall in the 'middle class' range. well, fancy that...by the way, just to keep you informed, when obama bailed out chrysler & gm, the workers were making $30--$48 per hour....just saying!!!! also, you have had to notice that when obama hits the road, he doesn't spend time or provide photo ops with those those not in the 'middle class' range...DON'T YOU FEEL IGNORED?

another way he causes division amongst us is the immigration policy he doesn't have. oh sure, he'll say some promising things about it now because november is coming soon & he will court the latino vote however, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION HERE. obama promised immigration reform in his first year of office & nothing's been done. he also promised latino congressmen immigration reform if they would support passage of obamacare & nothing's been done. i will say this for him; he supports latinos in this country without documentation but the same can't be said for blacks, whites, asians or others...

now, one would think that a man who's supposed to be our leader would stand in front of the cameras & tell america the truth without distorting the facts...not obama. recently when obama visited oklahoma near a drilling well, he said that he was going to 'fast track' the drilling permits, etc, etc. he also said he approved of the drilling & that we are drilling more under him then ever before...what's wrong with that you ask??? allow me to tell you the facts....shortly before his trip down there, he rejected the building of the keystone pipeline. what he gave his approval on didn't need it & the part that does need his approval, he won't approve & that's at the border between canada & us. yes we are drilling more but not because of obama but in spite of him. the drilling is on private lands & doesn't need his approval however, the drilling on federal lands that needs his approval has decreased. his moratorium on drilling in the gulf & other places has really hurt our oil production & permit approval is at a stand still.

recently, obamas been talking about the buffet rule & wanted congress to pass the bill which was blocked in the senate. i know you've heard him say that buffet pays less in taxes then his secretary on the face of it, i also agree however, underneath it all, you find this::::buffets secretary is taxed on her employment wages which is one thing & buffet is taxed on his risk-based activities in investment which is another thing. if buffet was receiving employment wages like his secretary, he would be taxed at a much higher rate. yes, there are tax loop holes in our tax code which need to be address but, on the other hand, how many 'middle class' can afford to donate a 10th of their yearly salary to charity, or invest it?

obamas full of crap...he wants you to buy a chevy volt (from a company he bailed out) for $40,000-$50,000 & he will give you a tax break/credit for $7,500. this is the very same loophole the rich use. look at his 1st time home buyers tax break/credit---same loophole. that's like me telling you i'm going to charge you more for throwing rocks at glass windows & yet, i'm the one giving you the rocks.

every day you hear about obama or see him on tv...what you don't hear or see is him telling you his stimulus worked (how could it have worked if he's now saying it wasn't big enough?) nor do you hear him telling you how he passed obamacare which every american 'needed' & yet, company's representing about 600,000 union workers have received 'waivers' from it compared to private company's representing about 60,000 workers--------just so you'll know, obamacare waivers are granted to those company's that obamacare puts a 'hardship' on---& yet, it's supposed to be affordable, needed, & for everybody...see who's on the top of the waivers list?....

while obamas running around the country talking about the above & other more trivial things, he's not talking about new jobs (& the jobs he does talk about are policemen, firemen, teachers---all government &/or union jobs); he's not talking about the economy & how to fix it; he's not talking about how he can bring down the gas & food prices; he's not talking about how he can get the banks to start making new loans; he's not talking about how to keep you in your home....

for you people of color, obamas past has said it all...when atlanta had all of those 1000's of people show up for a job fair, he was no where to be found &, he addressed the black caucus saying, 'strap your boots up, quit complaining &, keep on marching'.

oh, before i forget...dems that supported obamacare are now coming to the front saying they made a mistake in voting for it & should have used the time to get other much more needed things done.

america, in obamas 1st 2 years, he & the dems controlled washington & didn't need the repubs for crap. why is it that the only thing america got out of it is, obamacare which very well may be overturned by the supreme court next month &, the stimulus, which didn't, isn't & won't work. but to let obama tell it, the repubs (had control of the house for 1 year only) & pres bush are america's problem...obama & the dems could have passed any bills they wanted to in his 1st 2 years & they squandered that opportunity to do the right thing for this country......& obama wants 4 more years to do what?

hello america!!! i was just talking to a friend of mine that voted for obama, who said he will not vote for him again. i asked him why not &, to be honest, i was quite surprised at how many reasons he ticked off (it almost seemed like he was reading from one of my blogs) &, he was very upset. he even said, go ahead, tell me you told me so &, i did.

his biggest problems with obama are the deficit & lack of jobs. plus he really believed obama was going to change this country; instead, he thinks obama has made it worse.

we talked for about 45 minutes & i really felt good that a voting democrat had finally came to the same conclusion about obama that i had...&, that is, he's not good for this country.

when i asked him if he would vote for a republican, he said he wasn't going to vote at all. i told him not voting for another candidate other then obama was the same as voting for obama. i not only convinced him to vote for the repub candidate, i also explained that the country needed his vote for repubs running for congress  &, my reasoning was this:::we need repubs in the house, the senate &, the whitehouse to restore saneness to our country.

my friend said he's going to vote all repub in november & i believe him. he also said he's going to talk to those he knows voted for obama to get them to change their minds also...

we thanked each other & parted ways with me feeling on top of the world. i wish it were this easy to take the blinders off of all of those that supported obama.

hello america!!! let's talk about immigration, you know, that subject that obama made all those 'promises' about. if you care to remember, he could have gotten a bill through the dem controlled house & senate during his first 2 years with or without any support from the repubs.

firstly, everyone should have a valid id card to vote. that being said, forcing some groups of people (namely the latinos living near mexico) to obtain a valid id card, would create a hardship on them according to obama &, he's gotten his people to fight against it. i need to know why. what hardship is there? if they are here legally, they should be in the system & that should make it easier for them to get that id card.

now, i don't know how far they would have to travel to get to the 'gov't' center &, i don't know what it costs out there. on the other hand, i can't imagine there being a polling place set up for just 20 of them in their backyard. so, i don't buy this 'hardship' crap.

obamas preaching 'fairness' & i need him to tell me what's fair about me having to have a valid id card & they don't.

hell, i live in allentown pa & had to sign my grandson out of william allen high school due to an emergency &, i had to leave my id card at a security booth in exchange for an admittance pass. while waiting for my grandson i noticed that all the students had school id cards---wow---& then, when we arrived at st lukes emergency hospital on hamilton st, i had to show my id card to the receptionist & my grandsons. when we left the hospital, we went to the rite-aid pharmacy to get his prescription filled, & i had to show it again.

years ago when i filed for healthcare coverage through the public welfare system, i not only needed a valid id card, i also had to let them copy my birth certificate & soc sec card. when i opened my va benefits claim, i had to provide proof of who i was. when i opened my bank account, i had to provide proof of who i was. when i originally applied for my voters registration card, i had to show them a valid id. i've even had to show my id card at home depot & lowe's when using my bank card. i had to prove who i was & where i lived when i signed up for a public library card. when i went to career links for employment help, i had to show my id card. every job i have had has required me to show a valid id card & a soc sec card. when i went for my drivers license, i had to prove who i was. even on credit card applications, i have to insert my id card number. when i first moved into where i now reside, i had to prove who i was. when i go to the post office to pick up mail i have to sign for, they ask for my id card. even when i was walking on the wrong side of the law, the police always asked for my id card or drivers license. &, when i went to rent-a-center to rent a futon, i couldn't because my id card had expired by 6 days. when i signed up for my early retirement benefits, i had to show my id card, soc sec card &, birth certificate. when i started my life insurance policy's, i had to show my id card.

so obama, let's talk 'fairness'. why do i have to go through all of the above & others don't? why are you defending one group of people from having to obtain valid id?

if people are here legally, they should have documentation to prove it &, if they are not, they should be deported because, obviously, they broke the law to get here &, more importantly, to allow them to stay (unchecked) is an affront to those that went through all the crap to be here legally. besides, regardless of all the rhetoric you spew about 'protecting americans', if you don't know who's here, you can't protect us.

obama, you can tell the american people whatever you wish to but, i'll bet the farm that you will not allow your daughters to become 'close' friends with un-documented children. i'll also bet you & your people knew everything about her friends & their family that went on spring break with your oldest daughter to mexico. &, if one of the family's didn't had proof that they belong here, you & i both know they wouldn't have been allowed to go on that trip with your daughter.

&, if these un-documented people are contributing to our society as you claim, when they go to file their taxes, how do they do it without a valid id card? you know that we have to prove who we are when we file---try going to h & r block without a valid id card & filing. if these people are working without proof of who they are, how can you collect their taxes?

so, please cut the crap, & be honest with america & do the right thing by allowing 'everybody' to be documented & if they can't be, send them packing & i don't care if they're black, latino, white, or asian...do your job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

obama is a joke...how can you convince yourself he's for you when he wants you to buy a $50.00 light bulb & a $40,000-$50,000 chevy volt? his energy policy is a big bust:::our money he gave those green company's is either lost (solyndra & others), going over seas or, it costs too much for us to buy the products. if you're struggling to keep your job & pay the bills you now have, how in the hell are you going to afford to put solar panels on your home??? another thing, all those energy saving, squiggly light bulbs that he wants you to buy are made in china (by GE).

yet, he says, 'buy america' & then sends his 12/13 year old daughter to mexico (i don't think they are a part of america) for her spring break. &, don't forget, 'tighten your belt'.

he can't control his own secret service people---just look at those that were able to crash his party's & look at the mess they're in now.

he can't control the gsa & their spending &, THOSE ARE HIS PEOPLE!!!

obama wants to distract you from his failures & that's why he's ramping up the rhetoric on class warfare. he does not want you to remember his stimulus & obamacare or any of his other failed policy's. &, you have to know, he's hoping that he won't have to defend any of his failures in any presidential debates with romney.
